We trusted the kid fitting my son for skates and were assured we could come back if the sizing didn’t work after a few skates. We did and they would honor it. A real disappointment.

I stop here with my kids every time Im in town for tournaments and theyre always amazing. Friendly staff, very knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. Frequent clearance sales and reasonable prices, coupled with a rewards program, means you save a few bucks too!

Had my skates sharpened, but they were really, really poorly done, with my right skate slipping out from under me while standing on the ice. Their goalie selection was great, though, and I scored a couple sticks on sale, and located hockey sticks in my new teams colors.

I have gotten skates sharpened here and purchased new hockey equipment as well. I recently purchased a new helmet and multiple staff helped me get the sizing right and spent time adjusting, and readjusting until the fit was perfect. The staff are great and have helped with any question I have.

Ryan helped us with a warranty on a broken stick and he was so helpful and nice. Such a great experience. Will definitely go back to this hockey store for all our equipment needs!

Great website, great store, horrible shipping. I struggle with how they handle their shipping. If I choose regular shipping it says 3-5 business days, well it has been 2 days since I ordered it and it still hasnt been picked up yet by UPS so as of now it is extending to 7 days. I ordered on Sunday hoping to get it Friday, and the shipping costs money for standard shipping. If I wanted it faster is was a crazy price! They really need to work on their shipping processes and price, it gets frustrating when you purchase based on expectations, pay for it but never happens.

As a seasoned hockey player, and goalie, this place is awesome. Great balance of skater and goalie equipment which is typically hard to find. (Some stores are very lopsided as their preference of player vs goalie equipment.) Not the case here. Great balance, very knowledgeable staff, and very reasonable prices. Full service, Find and fit for equipment, skate sharpening, skate baking, and all the little stuff you need for a game. Tape, laces, etc. Beginner to Expert players will be happy here.

Fantastic store and customer service. We got our son fitted for pads and a stick. The employee taught us things on how to ensure a proper fit as he grows and how to tape a stick. There was no upselling or pressure to buy.

I can not speak highly enough about my recent experience with Aiden and Ryan at Pure Hockey in Highlands Ranch! Aiden displayed and has perfected Old Fashioned customer service!!! He quickly built rapport with my wife and I, and got us EXACTLY what we needed for my sons birthday gifts. Im very impressed, and have/ will continue to shope here!

I came in just before closing and had no idea the difference between all the skates. Vinnie stayed late and helped analyze my feet to put me in the perfect skate. I have had the wrong skates for over a decade and they always hurt my feet, so Ive basically stopped playing. Because of him, I can finally feel comfortable in skates and play hockey again! His knowledge and attitude were so welcoming that I didnt want to leave, and he never rushed me out the door even after they were technically closed. We need more people like this in the world!

Nice store with a great selection. My kid was in awe after visiting all the other shops that stock hockey gear. I had someone check in with me shortly after I entered and got extensive service when I started asking questions. They had everything that I needed. Sure prices aren’t as good as online but I was happy to pay the difference knowing everything I bought fits/works. It’s the best selection I’ve seen in Colorado by far.

Pure Hockey was a great experience for my boy and I. The staff, I think Shane, was very helpful in getting him set up with new equipment. They took their time to make sure his skates fit properly, were the style that fit him best. Then topped it all off with a bake, sharpen, and he was ready for the ice! I’d drive back from our home in Rapid City, SD to get any future equipment. A definite place to go for anyone needing Hockey Equipment.

This is the only shop I will go to in the Denver area after 5 years of continually getting skates sharpened and purchasing equipment. Bruce and Tannner have been extremely helpful! Other shops in the area have been disappointing.

Stopped in here today (20Jan18) to get my son measured for his first set of hockey gear and was really impressed with both the store and the staff. The staff were extremely knowledgeable and really went out of their way to interact with my son and make the moment special for him. He was super excited to get his first gear and first stick and the staff were just all amazing. Extremely good first impression of this business!

Poor customer service, unfriendly, two guys working and no other customers not one asked me if I needed assistance. Nobody attending cash. One employee standing around talking while I’m waiting to cash out. Didn’t tell me my skates were ready, just put them on another counter. Not knowledgeable enough to be of any help. Purchased more than a handful of items, no bag or box offered. 45 minutes to sharpen two pairs of skates. Two stars is generous.

This store is very nice and well stocked. Also, the strip mall in which it is located has undergone a recent face lift. The only thing keeping me from 5 stars is that for hockey gear unless you need it immediately you can usually purchase it online for a pretty good discount. That said the staff is knowlegble and highly trained to provide you with recommendations about equipment and skates. Do NOT buy skates online. Go see the pros and have them fit properly. It is worth the additional money in the long run.

We visited Pure Hockey for a simple skate sharpening on a Sunday morning. There were very few customers, and the skates we brought in were one of the only pairs waiting for a sharpening. We waited for 40 minutes to get the pair of skates sharpened. The amount of time we had to wait for the employee to get this done was far too long and it wasted our time. We will be going to a different establishment in the future for this service. Very disappointing.

Came in yesterday for some equiptment and Josh was great with helping me find everything I needed. Prices are great and didnt break the bank. Check this place out!!!

This store has improved tremendously in the last few months. Pure hockey still ignores the Colorado market, you can buy online and ship to store and return any gear you dont want before ever leaving. Good place to get your skates sharpened.

The senior staff and management is knowledgeable and attentive. Prices are competitive. Bring in your broken stick for $10 off of a green sticker marked stick. Great deal especially on sale sticks.

Only a few hockey equipment retailers left in the area, and these guys are friendly, have a deep selection, and seem to be a full-service joint!

I would give them a 0 but it wont let me post it.Went to get skates sharpened before tournament championship game at DUand look at new pads . 5 guys their standing around, got no help.They Destroyed the edges on the goalie skates . Poor kid could bearly skate to the crease. THANKS FOR NOTHING.

Stay away from their sharpening “professionals”. I brought brand new LS5 blades for “free” sharpening and they were ruined. The guy cut so much steel off, so they are lower then a year old LS2 blades. During this sharpening he overheated steel so much, so the stainless steel is discolored. He did not cut from the beginning of the blade so the blade would slip during initial acceleration on the ice and edges were so uneven, so we had swap them in the beginning of the practice. The brand new blades became totally unusable.

Great place super friendly staff. I would give it 5 stars but the place is cluttered and unkept at times.

This place is ok. Wish the staff was more alert and wish there was more stock. I really miss Sean. He always helped me and my sons needs. Took the time to understand what I needed and always appeared he did his homework on the gear. Never pushed and never made me feel uncomfortable. Worked with him since playersbench. Miss the good old days. Now I have young kids that think they know it all. FYI. if you know you don’t know the answer in goalie gear, don’t make up bs that a goalie can pick up a mile away. Just say...... I don’t know, but let me get the answer for you!!!!!!!

The best fitting skate ever purchased! The salesperson, DJ, took time with my son to fit his difficult feet. Honestly, not sure I would have had that with any other person. The other staff hardly made eye contact and a lot of them just looking at their phones. But, DJ took the time to not only help my son..but helped other customers as well!

Always a pleasure to stop by Pure Hockey in Littleton, and its worth mentioning that the service is significantly better than the Westminster store (based on 2 separate visits to that location). Additionally this is the only one of the two that carries goalie equipment. With that being said I always make it a point to work with Shane whenever I visit this store; hes extremely knowledgeable, respectful, honest, and not even remotely pushy (e.g. sales tactics, as you might experience elsewhere).Ive been to monkeysports probably just as many times as here and on several visits to monkeysports Ive experienced either; A) being lied to about something when I absolutely knew the truth, or B) having them purposefully/pushily downtalk my equipment while sliding into a script about something they just happened to have in stock (after me making it clear my gear was fine, my level of play didnt require it, and my budget didnt support it). All that did was push me away from their store for everything except window-shopping. This was never the case with Shane and Pure Hockey, it was obvious he was just happy to talk about hockey gear without any sales pressure. Keep up the great job, Ill definitely be returning!
