Found exactly what I needed, no thanks to the gentleman working. The worker who initially began to help me, (thank you for the offer of good service), asked what I was in for. When told him I need mig contact tips for a 15 series gun, he asked what welder. When it wasn’t red or blue, he was done with me. The other gentleman in the store was relayed the info about my “knock of welder” (-guy number 1), he approached me and informed me that they won’t have what I’m looking for. I found exactly what I needed, and had a good purchase. If you are looking for help, make the trip to the general air in Colorado Springs, where the staff actually care. Not a bad store, just uneducated-uncaring employees.

I have been dealing with Grant and the guys here for a few years now and I don’t go anywhere else. I have purchased supplies and gas from other places but these guys are friendly and professional. They saved me a lot of money when my plasma cutter stopped working. I was ready to spend some money to fix it and they helped me find a simple problem and I was back up and running that afternoon. Always helpful with customers and questions. They even treat my dog like family. That goes along way with me!!! I enjoy stopping in just to see what they have on sale and to chat. If you want the best, these are your guys!!!

Amazing experience. Im a beginner welder purchasing my first MIG welder. They spent an hour giving me a lowdown of how everything works and what Im going to need and hooked me up with an awesome deal. Im new to welding, researched for about a year before deciding to jump in, buy a machine and get to learning. Went to General Air in Littleton, Tristan Spainhower greeted myself and my neighbor who came along to check out the store. The knowledge that Tristan was patient enough to share with me while answering my Newbie questions was incredible! We could not have had a better experience! Ended up buying a Miller 220 AC/DC and a ton of supporting equipment that I can grow into for some time to come. Thank you Tristan and General Air!

I will say that this place has a lot of different products and the staff is always friendly and helpful. There are very few places in the area where you can buy prefilled, 5lb CO2 tanks.The only problem I have is that the prices have risen ~40% in the past few years, and you never know how much youll end up paying ($25 last week for a 5lb tank), just that itll be more than the last time. In the past they have given me one price on the phone, and then tired to charge a few more dollars when I got there. I called them on it and they honored the lower price, but then the price was higher the next time.They give deals to businesses (which they should and I dont fault them for). I purchased a 5lb, prefilled CO2 tank from another (much further away) store for $17 a few months ago, and the sticker indicated that it was from this shop.Im happy this place is here but I wish they were more transparent with the pricing.

General air is a great welding supply store. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. It can be intimidating for the hobby welder to come in and ask questions at the place the pros go, but the folks here have always been super helpful and friendly! I highly recommend the welding class that they have as well (welding class is at main location downtown Denver).

The guys here are AWESOME!! I am a part-time hobby welder and treated myself to a Millermatic 212 about eight years ago. Needless to say it sits idle a lot of time. I was having some issues with the wire feeding properly so I called and they told me to bring it in. Once there they wheeled it into their test area, promptly pulled it apart, made some adjustments, and helped me load it back on the truck. I couldnt be happier with their professionalism, expertise, and customer service. THANKS GUYS!!!!!

The guys here at General Air have some of the best customer service and get you in and out the door with no hassle! I buy all my welding machines and supplies from them. They have the best prices and have what you need in stock. I bought an Ellis 1800 Bandsaw from them today, and they had it in my truck in less than 2 mins! My employees and I purchase supplies from this location on a weekly basis and always have a great experience. The store is always very clean and the staff attentive and knowledgeable. Just got back from General Air after taking in a regulator that I thought needed repair. I talked with Greg who noticed that I may have had it adjusted incorrectly. He tested it out for me, and expertly explained how to adjust the pressure. I dont weld a lot, but definitely learned something new about my welder! Greg also took the time to explain the differences in MIG welder wire as options for what Im working on. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff! Definitely a well-recommended shop!

Just wanted to add to my review since the owner took the time to respond to my review! Actually, the fact that the owner took the time to ask for more detail and provided contact information perfectly sums up the business. The people are very friendly and helpful. Sometimes Ive even stopped by just to window shop (for that multiprocess welder I cant afford!). So, why did I give them 4 stars? Well, its symptomatic of the current consumer market. I was given a CK Worldwide TIG torch as a present, and AFAIK its not an unusual item, but still they lacked the necessary stubby gas lens parts for replacements. Its not that big of a deal since I can find them online, but Id prefer to buy local. I want friendly places like this to stay in business, because last time I checked Im not getting my gas from Amazon Prime! USA needs the trades to be a focus for the next generation and I want places like General Air, Littleton to be around to thrive. Thanks again for your help!

My name is Dan ChandlerI have 125 plus Lincoln welderI was having problems with the wire feeder I called Air Gas if Littleton and talked to Paul he’s said bring in your welder and we can trouble shoot it . Paul was very throuaghal he diagnosed the problems he changed the cable and also found debris in both feed tubes! He then cleaned both tubes did a final check turned on the welder and started welding! I tried it and it was like new ! I’m very satisfied

Was lied to guy over the phone told me he would fill propane for 1.68 a gallon but then when I went in a few weeks later the kid working who was extremely rude and aggressive told me over 3.00 gallon to propane. I would rate this place in the negatives of I could after that experience.
