I had a great experience. I was able to get an appointment quickly, within a week and a half of calling. Once there, Dr. Bloomingcamp explained each procedure and its results thoroughly and in a way I could understand. I left feeling confident in my next steps and follow up care.

Dr. Bloomingcamp does a great job with my moms eyes and her glaucoma we get glasses that she loves by fit and comfort. She has been other places and she does not get a thourgh exam and glasses that fit right and are comfortable to wear now she can do her hobbies and see. Friendly and knowledgeable as they have been in the past. Very clean, took temperature, everyone washed hands, they sanitized everything I touched and seemed to have a good system in place for covid- I felt safe there. They were also politely patient with my indecisiveness while looking at frames as I was the last patient of the day.

New to Livermore and chose Dr Bloomingcamp based all the great reviews and she did not disappoint. Appointments were easy to get for my family. Communication on COVID protocols were clear. I felt safe. The exam was state of the art and I learned more about my eyes than any other doctor. Wait until you see you eyes in hi def. awesome.

I really enjoyed my visit! Theyre taking great care with covid precautions, which I was really impressed with. The doctor was friendly and informative, and wasnt bothered by my annoying questions about the machines she used and how they work. Then she sat with me to try on frames, and switched into supportive friend helping you look good mode. Love that for me. The frames are a ~2 week turn-around, and she is going to do an adjustment and fitting session with them once they arrive. They also agreed to give me my prescription and measurements without any argument, which was a breath of fresh air, given my past experiences with other optometrists.

I went in a couple weeks ago with eye irritation, assuming I had a contact stuck somewhere I couldnt get to. I was seen that night, and the staff was kind, accommodating, and followed covid guidelines, making me, a diabetic, feel much safer being seen there. After a few minutes of searching for any foreign objects in my eye, I was given a coupon for an over the counter eye drop, which I was able to buy immediately from target after, for irritation, and slight infection. I was reminded to call if my eye didnt get better in a couple days, and was told I would be seen as a priority if I wasnt healing/getting better. I would highly recommend them, not only for their professionalism, but also their care for their patients.

Dr. Bloomingcamp is professional, thorough, efficient, and wonderfully pleasant. Her staff is the same and responds quickly to phone calls. Dr. Bloomingcamp recently caught a medication- induced eye problem before it became serious, so I could discontinue the medication. I will be forever grateful for that. She is really patient and generous about adjusting my glasses after I’ve been smacked in the face by a piece of luggage or a horse nose. The practice has an excellent selection of frames across a wide price range, and they are really good at suggesting the appropriate features for my lenses. I highly recommend the practice over the usual factory-feeling large optometry groups.

Bloomingcamp optometry is unbelievable. They are an uptown optometrist with all equipment for exams and glass frame inventory to meet the 21st century needs, but with small town values. I’m a new patient and when my existing glasses broke, Jacki went above and beyond to help me salvage them until I am eligible for another pair covered by insurance. She also took the time to explain my insurance options to maximize my benefits. Dr. Bloomingcamp was very nice and thorough with my new patient exam.
