Just bought a 2015 Ford Fusion from this amazing dealership. Came in one day not expected much to Crazy Eddie coming outside over to us and showing us around and really being an awesome guy overall and not worried about making a sale but putting us in the perfect car. He went and picked up a car for us at the little falls location and had it cleaned and ready for us at the closer location which made things so much easier. Then Mike who helped with the numbers and stuff was absolutely awesome he helped get the perfect plan that was reasonable and worked for us. He then went out of his way to mention his friend who works in car insurance when I mentioned how much I was going to be robbed by another company each month he reached out to his buddy who was able to get me a quote for nearly half the rate what I was paying every month. This dealer didn’t just sell me a car they took care of me LITERALLY and was looking out for me like family and I can’t appreciate that enough! Thank you For an amazing experience and I strongly suggest coming here for a car used or new and working with Crazy Eddie or Mike or anyone there as everyone was super nice!

Dave in sales and Gary in service were extremely helpful resolving a major issue on my newly leased Suburban Premier. We were stunned to have a new car break down and the delay in parts was like salt on a wound. That said, they were able to make a bad situation reasonable. Any dealership can sell you a vehicle, but it is what comes next that counts, and these guys went above and beyond.

I’ve been looking for a new car over this craziness moments, and it has been a pretty challenging experience, where i have to face some unethical salesman with attempts to mislead me in what they are charging on my lease.I found here a pleasant service. Clean and transparent. Price set, installments and numbers makes sense.It was really a good surprise. So simple that in less than 1 hr i did a test drive and closed a deal…I ended up on this dealer as Jarret offered a great service in the body shop. After having that, i decided to look for a new car, Harold offered help, and it was really great…. I will surely come back in the future

FABULOUS EXPERIENCE!!! If I could give EDDIE and CORY 6 STARS I would!! The service we received was AMAZING! We just purchased our Tahoe after the lease expired and three weeks later we returned to lease an Equinox. EDDIE was attentive, responsive and so sweet. CORY was fantastic, detail oriented, and worked so hardto keep us within our budget. They both made the process seamless and easy, and really went above and beyond!! What a great team! Hello, I am a customer who travels from Brooklyn NY to Livingston NJ to patronize this dealership due to their outstanding service in the repair shops and the sales department. I have been a customer for just under 10 years and the service has always been phenomenal. I cant say anything but great information on behalf of the dealership. Everybody at the dealership was very friendly. If somebody crossed your path, they would say hello how are you and not just look away. It was very pleasant atmosphere . On the day of delivery, the salesman spent almost an hour with my wife going over all the features and operation of the vehicle. In all my 40 years of car buying, not once did a sales person spend anywhere near that amount of time with us going over the vehicle.While our initial impression was far superior of anything we have ever experienced in purchasing a car, I feel the real test will come in the next 6 months, year etc. How do I get treated when I take the vehicle in for service? What happens if I have questions? I am planning on a long relationship with Schumacher and I expect the level of service to always remain high.

If youre looking for a Chevrolet David Friedman at Schumacher in Livingston is who you want to work with! We recently went through the process of getting a new car and this was hands down the easiest experience weve ever had. We were deciding between a GMC Yukon or Chevy Tahoe and researched with quite a few dealers. David is knowledgeable, honest, easy to work with and gave us the best price on leasing. I normally dread going through this process and thought it would be even worse given the fact that there are so few cars available because of Covid. We did have to wait a bit but ended up with exactly what we wanted. And when all was said and done we only spent about 30 minutes in the dealership. Everything else was done by email and phone. And we love our new car :)

With a car that has less than 15500 miles, the need to replace the cabin filter is, in my view, somewhat specious. At a minimum, you should have shown me the filter you replaced. I understand car sales are not the best but do you feel comfortable changing out a filter n such a low mileage vehicle? Similarly, you could have removed the leaves under my hood.Ive used Weichert/Schumaker for about eight years with my leases. During that time, maintenance was part of the lease contract. Now, Im going to be more cautious in my dealings with you folks. You must admit, paying 0ver $ 300 for an oil change is somewhat suspect, exclusive of tire rotation cost.I own several hundred shares of GM stock and have contacted Mrs. Barra a few times regarding service issues.Definitely somewhat disappointed in the experience.

Harold was very straight to the point and personable. It never felt like a sales experience rather than an informative discussion and light negotiation. He was wonderful and then Michael from finance was the cherry on top, getting me a very comfortable deal that exceeded my expectations as well as being extremely personable. Got a 2018 subaru outback from Harold and he was helpful and reasonable. There was a bit of a miscommunication in regards to the pickup and the trunk all of a sudden stopped working and made a beep in the car that wouldnt go away. When I went back they tried to fix it real quick, since I just bought the car, but they couldnt fix it. Then when I went back and pressured them that I just bought the car and shouldnt have these problems, there was a guy named Gary, I believe, who was very helpful and managed to fix it in a couple of minutes. The car itself is fine and runs well, so definitely happy with the car and the price I got.

Hi I leased my car at first for three years. Then I decided to buy it. It’s a Chevy Cruz LTRS. I discovered after a rain storm water was getting in my trunk. I did take the most expensive warrantee out on the car. I brought the car back to get fixed. Then I’m charged $200 dollars. As I looked on the Internet I noticed many of these cars had leaky trunk issues due to a factory default. I was just wondering why I had to pay for a factory default problem with the car. I paid $8000 for the warranty on the car after I decided to buy it. My father has been leasing cars from this company for several years. Now he’s thinking about when he turns his car in back to you guys he will not lease off of your company anymore. You guys got $200 off of me when I should not have paid but now. It’s possible you will lose thousands now. I don’t think it was worth it for 200 bucks for you to lose thousands but whatever. Have a great day

As ALWAYS, Schumacher (aka Wigder) was exceptional in every way. My first vehicle was a 1985 Chevrolet K5 Blazer. I purchased this vehicle from the only place I was allowed.... (My parents were ALSO long-term customers and vehicles of the 1970s and 1980s really REQUIRED an excellent service facility. LOL).Throughout the years, I have had nothing but the best experiences with this dealership. They go out of their way -- Sales / Service / EVERYTHING !Cory Calabrese is the Schumacher representative who just assisted us in purchasing my 2017 Tahoe. Just another one of the EXCELLENT people who work there. Due to the physical limitations that I have, doing most things ends up being rather difficult. Cory jumped through hoops to make everything as pain free as possible (literally ! LOL).I was completing an end of lease acquisition of my leased 2017 Chevrolet Tahoe. Cory was so helpful and kind, something I have just come to expect there. From mechanical advice to financial advice, he was so incredibly helpful.Our original salesman (Crazy Eddie? LOL) was also fantastic. He drove multiple vehicles from the dealership to my home to save me the inconvenience of traveling. I have a crippling and debilitating autoimmune disorder (ankylosing spondylitis) that causes my spine and joints to fuse together. Sitting and driving are incredibly painful and quite difficult. He was exceptionally patient and endured the days long process of traveling to my home, showing and giving an overview of each vehicle, sitting through multiple test drives and, in the end, traveled again multiple times -- to drop off and collect all of the necessary paperwork. Truly EXCEPTIONAL!This dealership is unlike any other that I have ever dealt with in my years as a driver.Occasionally, there has been a vehicle that I have purchased that was not a Chevrolet brand. In those exceptions, I have encountered the real-life existence of the stereotypical car sales people/places. From sales to financing/leasing to service.... Nothing compares to Wigder/Schumacher. I dont know anyone there personally, have no relatives or any relation to the dealership at all. My comments and extreme satisfaction come straight from my experiences with them over 50+ years (time includes my youth watching my parents go through the vehicle purchase and service cycles).This is not to say that I have never experienced a problem or any type of dissatisfaction with Schumacher. If there was ever a problem or issue that occurred, I cannot recall.That speaks volumes.!I feel like I am being paid to write a sales pitch or advertisement for this dealership. Im not sure if anyone actually reads these surveys, but I certainly hope so. I am often accused of being overly critical or picky. I try to treat people the same way that I expect to be treated. 2nd Chevy I have bought from this dealer. Would buy again from this dealer. For service, I bought a certified pre owned truck which has been back twice for check engine code for evap solenoid. This piece is currently on order. Will be back in service next week for installation. Wish this was a 2 trip repair instead of 3 trips for this issue. Other than that, I’m happy with service. They also provided and will provide a loaner vehicle. Have had recall work done by this dealer on another car a few years back. I love Chevrolet’s. Currently have 6 Chevrolet’s and a GMC in my fleet of personal vehicles.

Endless phone calls and e-mails yet zero action from the dealership, whether finance, salesperson, no one can sort it out. Incredible how poor the service gets once they bank the car sale, just an endless run around from them. If you expect anything after you walk out the door with the keys you are in for a shock.

Just purchased a 2020 Blazer from this dealer. I couldnt say enough about how good of an experience it was. I have been using the service department at Schumacher for several years, and usually wait for work to be completed. Each time I was kept informed of the status, and all work required has always been explained to my satisfaction. At my most recent encounter I needed more work than anticipated, and I was having a problem with documents pertaining to my car. I was offered a loaner car which allowed me to go home while the unanticipated work was completed, as well as assistance with the documentation for my car. The kindness and empathy from Johnny and Gary toward my problem was totally unexpected and completely wonderful. It is rare to find people who go out of their way to help, but they went over and above any expectation I had. I am truly grateful for their help and will continue to use Schumachers service department for the foreseeable future.

Showed up at 8:30 And checked in through the app/website for scheduled appointment. No one was there. Got an email that my appointment was changed to 8:45, at 8:31. Still saw no one. At 8:55 I called the dealership. They had no idea that I had checked in through the app. They didn’t notice it. And all of the information when I checked into the app was incorrect anyway.I was then there for 4 hours, for basic service.Oil change, new battery for my key, license plates and a new tire. At 9:50 I was told they don’t have the tire there, and had no one to go get the tire. They had to find someone willing to drive there to get it, and that it could take an hour. I said no problem, I’ll wait. For the next 2 1/2 hours I watched everyone else in the dealership get their cars and leave, even if they had just arrived within an hour. Not a word was said to me for that entire time. No updates, nothing. At 12:30pm I finally walked into the service area, again, no customers here anymore, said where’s my car? They asked my last name, they they said “I’m getting the payment ready now” they had forgotten about me entirely.Then when I wanted to read what the cashier was having me sign I hear her say “oh, come on!” Like I was eating her time.I just purchased this car by buying out my lease. I have been there 3 times in the past month. The receptionist had not once worn her face on her face. Even when talking to people, it’s around her chin. Other employees also entered the building without their masks.I used to recommend this dealership to everyone, now I will never be back. A truly awful experience.
