First time ever in a Jo-Ann fabric store... Wanted to replace fabric on an old outdoor teak wood chair. Found a nice remnant of this blue and white check for a good price. It cost more to have it hemmed at a local store than I paid for the material but it came out nice. Looks like tons of stuff at Jo-Ann fabrics next time I go I will look around a little more I just went for the fabric specific this time had no idea there was so much stuff in the store!

Not crafty. Feel lost in here but love it. Rare visit. Recovering dining room chairs - antique Duncan Phyfe. Eli was amazingly helpful. They were short staffed like so many places and he never skipped a beat - hustling around, all with a cheery disposition. He showed us what we needed to go with the upholstery fabric we picked (foam etc). Choices scanned, we got a ticket to take to the front where Cindy was equally as helpful in checking us out. All in all a great experience. Store was well stocked, clean and full of crafting ideas. Hope the manager appreciates this fabulous staff!

Nice layout and very clean. Everyone was really nice and helpful. One of the best locations Ive been to in a while.

Everyone here is so friendly and helpful. The store is well-lit and tidy. Even the greenery area is neat. This is our preferred store for fabric and sewing notions. Parking fills up quickly. Getting out of the parking lot often requires patience-try the northern or southern exit as there is a traffic light. The other exits are more difficult. The store is located right off I-96 and Middlebelt Rd in the SW corner. There are several restaurants and other stores at this intersection, so traffic is often heavy.

Store is loaded with Greatness but hard to find someone one the to help you. But I was able to find fabric to make a stool for my granddaughter.

Best experience I’ve had in regards to customer service. I’ve recently discovered this location as my closest Joanns. I’ve only ever had bad experiences with the workers of Joann Stores. However! My last visit here was so kind! I interacted with 3 workers while shopping. 3/3 had positive service! And the cashier really blew it out of the water with kindness.

Good supply of fabrics. Great and supportive staff. Easy cutting station direction and check out. Wish they had Spiderman and Autism fabric.

Joanns has always been a staple in creating a crafty life. Sales are solid, though original prices seem high in comparison to other craft stores. Fabric selection of course is better than any other craft store. This Joanns was a little jumbled and a little rough, but it may be that theyre short staffed. Still a great place to run in and grab a missing supply for your current craft project, or a quick add on gift for a birthday, hostess gift or BBQ.

Its a nice store but twice now they didnt have the color thread I needed, plus the check out line always seems to have 10 people waiting.

The folks here are so helpful. They knew I was clueless as to what I really needed so they guided me correctly.Then they showed me how to access a 40% off coupon to complete my visit. I found that to be so awesome that now I am making it a point to go back!

Oh my goodness, Cristian is just damn awesome!! Make sure you discuss your selections with him. He designs patterns from scratch and has a background in fashion design.Darlene was helpful also. They make a great team!!

Just needed shoulder pads and quilt batting. Still the same as always. Good choice of fabric and other craft stuff. Home decor seems always on sale. Getting fewer and far between so you normally have to drive a few miles. Right off the I-96 service drive at Middle Belt on the south side. Will be back when I need something.

Loads of supplies. Took a bit to figure out where things were. Check out very quick. Took a very long time to find scissors. Then need to get unlocked. Sad that a $30 item needed to be locked. Sign of the times. Best place for sewing supplies.

Jess was awesome! She went above and beyond to ensure that I knew how to use the coupon system. She began by asking me what I was looking for when we entered the store and sent me in the right direction. Then, as our cashier she helped me get the coupon right. Hobby Lobby lost a customer today and JoAnns gained one! I hope that Jess gets some recognition, she truly was the ideal for what a retail employee should be!

During today not too busy. Got a 4th of July bow on sale. Loved it.

Every single staff person was kind and cheery!!! On this day I wanted to make a spiffy costume to impress my 4 year old grandson. I was assisted by a lady named Laura. She helped me with material, ribbons, fur, accessories, etc..She was kind, patient and very helpful. Because of her assistance, my grandson was very happy with his granny!!! I was able to be The Cat In The Hats Granny.

While not a bigger Joann they do have what you need, including craft paint which seems to be difficult for some other chains to keep in stock. Always are greeted by Ryan, the store manager and Vanessa and the crew at the cutting counter are always very helpful

I had to drive two towns over to find meringue powder for royal icing. Joanns website was able to find a store in my area that had some in stock. This location was well socked in all baking supplies, I didnt venture to other areas for fear of the damage browsing would do to my credit card at check out!

I was bouncing back and forth between a 3 & 4 rating. I ended with a 3 because this location is often out of most supplies I personally need such as sewing needles (certain sizes), spray paint (certain colors), and dont carry any speciality fabrics like silk or velvet. I hope you know the layout of the store and can help yourself because youll never find someone on the floor during peak hours.

Its hard to find things sometimes and the staff, which I know has been stretched thin because of the pandemic, is not always helpful. But theyre doing a very good job considering our current situation.

Id hate to take away a star because of low stock or short staff, we are in a pandemic. Just be prepared to possibly not find what youre looking for quantity wise. Other than that, they have almost everything you could be looking for crafting/art/baking wise, if not in store, definitely online. The workers here are always super helpful when you ask.

Very good place to get arts and crafts supplies. Everything was easy to find. Prices varies by quality. Joann is the place to go for any art project. And theres always a coupon after each purchase.

They have a Great Clearance Sale going on! Not sure when its over! I bought these two stamp sets, for a Steal! Ive wanted the Fiskars one for a long time! Today, the Price was Right! 😂😂

Love this place. This location has been pretty consistent. The sales associate on this particular day was not so polite. Her tone was not the most professional to the point where I wanted to write corporate. I am sorry that my coupon a were on my phone maam, and the $70 of beads were accepteable for using more than one coupon. She acted like I was a total inconvenience to her for shopping with a coupon app. One more eyeroll and an email would have been sent to corporate. They may want to reconsider who on regiter. The line was pretty long and there were only 2 cash registers open. So for that reason I took a star. She could have had a issue with me an my coupon or she may have just been burnt out. Either way, she needed to walk away for a bit.

This place will bring the creativity out of you!! The fabrics are so beautiful it makes you want to buy a sewing machine it done fabric glue and make something!!!!! I went to buy some lace fabric to go over a bustier,, they had many varieties of lace and the colors are dynamic!! I bought stuffing for my pillow and looked at fabric for my dining room chairs, so beautiful, its not like I dont have time!!!! 🤗

Only issue with this place is the 50% off one regular price otem coupon they put out periodically is pretty useless as you cant use it on sale items. Good luck finding something you want thats not already on some sort of sale. On the plus side this location has a better art section than the other Joanns in the area.

Helpful friendly staff. even with a long line they still respect social distancing rules and get through all the customers very quickly.

Nice store, staffed well, thats so refreshing. The customer service is wonderful. They could add fabric cutters. That line is often so long, half the time I put my fabric back and leave.Last time I was there it went more smoothly. Of course thefabric cutters are very sweet, and super helpful.Thank you for helping me make my little girl all her Halloween costumes, and her Comic Con costumes. Shes adores her mother for going the extra mile and I thank your cutters for that, without them I couldnt have done it. Thanks again.

The fabric selection is small. The needle craft selection is almost non-existent. This store is really only good for if you run out of thread in the middle of a project. Or if you need LOTS of fleece. Disappointing.With the co-vid related restrictions it more confusing. Will purchase fabric from another place. And not thrilled with the app or the website.

NEW YEARS (closes at 9pm not 6pm). Anyway, I love this store. I got a bad attitude from the older lady who cut the fabric, she’s no help at all. Which is why they I gave 3 stars instead of 4. But, everyone else is amazing and deserves 4 stars. They know the products and always eager to help. Well stocked and CLEAN, very clean. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Went to the Livonia location. I was completely overwhelmed with Christmas shopping and a young lady helped me get everything I needed. She went out of her way to help me pick out wrapping paper and ribbons. On top of that, she helped me get coupons and saved me over 50% off!

They have tons of cool things and you end up buying what you came in for and 50 dollars more than that!

They had what I needed, but the wait time in line was excessive. I understand we living/working in the midst of a pandemic. There were not enough staff in place to work the registers.

20 people are allowed in the store starting today. The wait wasnt bad with so many fellow crafters in line. Its great to get out and be able to see the fabric for making masks in person!

Had a great bridal selection would definitely go back period we do miss the sales paper that comes to your home every month with coupons.

Small store, but well stocked with kind employees!

I like this store; it is clean, well stocked, and the employees are nice. This is my go-to place for fabric, cake decorating supplies, and paper crafting. I also find many kids craft supplies here. Use coupons from the app or mailers, and youll almost never pay full-price for anything. Often, using coupons on regular price items will save you even more than sales. But they have pretty good sales, too.

The store is clean and organized, with generally friendly staff. Its in a great location with easy parking and easy access to 96, Middlebelt, etc.Tons of fabric to choose from, and a tidy pattern area.Lines to check out can tend to be long, though, and I have just come to expect it. Shrug. Often there are only one or two checkouts open and the line starts to expand faster than they can keep up.Usually theyll pull another cashier or two from the cutting counter to help the line move through.But I love that they are always happy to help customers find their coupons online to use at checkout. This may be why the line takes a bit, and also why I dont mind so much.
