Wish they had friendlier customer care

I stopped in to buy over $50 worth of balloons for my daughter‘s birthday. I bought both latex and mylar balloons at 8:45 PM. The next morning when I woke up the latex balloons were all deflated and one of the mylar balloons which I spent $12 on was also deflated so I decided to take them back and have new balloons made for me and I was refused new balloons because they said that latex balloons only last 2 to 5 hours. They only agreed to add more helium to the Mylar balloon and when I got home it was already deflated. Terrible customer service that they wouldn’t give me three new latex balloons and a new Mylar balloon which would’ve cost him pennies but has now cost them a customer I do not recommend the store

Clean store, well stocked. The checkout line was a little slow. I found what I needed.

There were a lot of sparse shelves here, but still the place was huge and had a convenient, large assortment. This looks like the play to go fo sure

Nice place to get party items

I came for one balloon and instead of the employees working they were having small talk and told me it would be a 30-45 min wait for ONE balloon! I then told them that 45mins is too long for a balloon, they didn’t have a response so I requested a refund and instead of them just blowing up the ONE balloon they gave a refund. Talk about good customer service huh 🤔

We arrived at the store prior to closing (according to online business hours) and the doors were locked leaving many people who were already approaching the store as well confused. Curbside and online ordering was meant to be convenient. Yet, after getting the text notification that my order was ready, we had to wait outside 15 minutes with no response whatsoever before just deciding to go in. This defeats the purpose of curbside pickup. While waiting, I placed a call to the store and was on hold for nearly 7 minutes before just deciding to hang up. Overall, this was quite the irritating experience.

Went during Halloween and it was really hectic but everyone that helped me out was very nice.

Did a phone in order & they couldnt have been more helpful. The only downfall was this is the 3rd time of going there to get tablecloths of which they didnt have any of some colors!!

Went out of my way to this particular store because they supposedly had all the items I needed. Ordered curbside. Dont bother...youll have to go in anyway after waiting for 15 minutes. Then I had to ask the cashier to find someone to help me. 5 minutes later this guy who clearly couldnt care less about helping me slowly saunters up to the counter, talks to the cashier for a minute and FINALLY makes his way down to me, asks for my last name and asks if there are any balloons. I said my wife placed the order so youll have to tell me...you know..that part of your job where YOU fill the order. He grabbed my order, assured me there were no balloons and sent me on my way.Guess what? There was a very special $25 balloon that Dad forgot. Guess my little guys 5th B-day will be a little less special. Shame on me for not double-checking my order before leaving but just as a warning; dont count on the employees at this store for anything.UPDATE: Called the store next day and got a competent employee that called the customer service line for me and arranged for a refund without me having to come back in. So...Party City DID make it right in the end (no concessions offered for the inconvenience but at least I got my money back. 🤷‍♂️)

This Party City was very crowded but the staff was very nice very helpful and I would recommend them to anybody I pay for my balloon delivery on Thursday and it was delivered as promised even early on Saturday

Not good customer service. Seems like all the associates had attitude. I was nice and friendly. They treated me like my money was no good.

High prices, good customer service, clean and organized.

Worst store EVER! Went in there just to buy a few things. Service was VERY SLOW. When I finally get to the register, I asked for one small balloon. I was told there is a 2 hour wait for balloons and then was asked if I wanted to wait. Really? As I look over at the ballon section, there was NO line and two employees where standing around just talking. I asked again if the girl helping could just please blow up one ballon since the helium wasn’t currently being used. She again said no, I’ll have to wait the two hours! I’ll never go there again. Can’t even get ONE balloon. What happened to customer satisfaction or going out of your way to help a customer?? It doesn’t exist at Party City!

I would reccomend checking their website ahead of time so you can order in a timely manner and there isnt any (or quite as much) sticker shock. The ladies working here were really nice and watching the three of them rotate handling the clueless customers who create their own lines then seamlessly switch to inflating balloons was nice to see. I enjoy efficiency. Its expensive but my son was really excited to play with some huge balloons, no pun intended.

They have any and everything to celebrate. Super stocked with reasonable prices. They leave the buggy at the entrance door. I dont know if its from the shoppers leaving or for the shoppers entering? Anyway that was annoying. Other than that cool place to get party stuff.

Its really annoying to drive all the way to this store,to pick up an on line order,only to get there at 6:30pm,and it was closed. I checked hours BEFORE I left home..says 8pm. UPDATE YOUR DAMN STORE HOURS!!!

Worst customer service. Ordered balloons for a birthday and the staff was extremely rude. They were out of some of our balloons but were being rude about trading them out for a different set. Never got the holder for the balloons even though I was charged. I called to talk to a manager and she said she would call me back and I never received a call back or compensation for all the issues and the missing items that I order. Terrible service for something that easily could’ve been fixed.

Was just there. Staff member with mask off who kept touching his nose and then the products including the register and serving plates. I asked him to put it on and in a minute it was off again with him touching his nose. Eww.

Was looking for a Paris theme for my daughter birthday but they will only let you purchase the items on line. They put certain items up for the season even though its on the property whyyyy!!!!

I can give Party City 5 stars now that they seem to have re-areanged the approach to the cashiers lol. The way it wound around before made it a little difficult to navigate, but the last time I was there, there was more room to navigate around the other customers...not sure if it was just a display that was moved or what, but its appreciated.This Party City is well stocked year-round, and rarely do we not find what we need, as we fill the cart with a bunch of stuff we didnt realize we very clearly needed. And to be honest, some of the decor patterns for plates, napkins and hanging decorations etc. are pretty enough to buy even without a party in the works.This is a store I enjoy going in, even if its just to look and plan for next time.

I’m confused on why they offer curbside pick up if you have to wait 30 minutes & still end up going inside to pick up. Then the attitude the employees had were very nonchalant & rude.

I love party city because they have alot of great items for birthday parties to celebrate with friends and family. Party city is very neat clean and organized so its easier to shop for what you need for our parties always! I love party city so much thank you!

Great stock. I had to come here because I wanted secret life of pets decor for my son who was turning 2. I think the westland location had more in stock but this had what i needed. They seem short handed theres usually a line and one register open when Ive gone. Id have given 5 stars if they had a second cashier on.

Staff needs a little training on CUSTOMER SERVICE but I found what I needed and I was in and out.

Paid for balloons then I was asked to wait until everyone in line was taken care of before they started to blow up 2 balloons!! Unacceptable!!! I demanded they take 120 seconds to blow up my 2 balloons so I can leave. Im a paying customer and shouldnt be told to wait. Especially considering there were 6 people in line.

The store had the products In stock but I stood in line for 25 minutes because there was only one cashier. Other employees continued to walk past the register while they saw the line was long but nobody ever showed up to help the one cashier clear the growing line

The staff was really nice about filling the balloons I brought in however I was told they would last 24 hours. I went in at 7pm and needed them for an event the next day at noon. By 10am the next morning they were deflated. Was so upset and no tome to get more. 12 balloons cost me $30. Way too much when they dont even last 12 hours.

Pretty disgusting that management allows a group of people to vape in store the middle of a pandemic. It’d be bad enough any other time, but it was just downright disgusting.

This location always runs out of helium, you’re likely to have to buy your own helium tank to blow up your own balloons. Also I set up a pick up order for my daughters birthday party balloons and they were not ready. They had none of my information and waisted our time. Very disappointed.

Good but it was kinda empty

Absolutely horrible service. We ordered a total of 7 balloons for curbside pickup . Nothing but miscommunication on the order with the employees . Waited outside in the traffic lane for 40 minutes before an employee found our online pickup order.

I was looking to put together a costume for a party. The store has everything. I was very thankful for Jessicas help. She helped get it all together for me. I think she went the extra step. Great service!

Its very nice clean easy to find what youre looking for customer service was exceptional always ready to help.

They never have things in stock and they never have employees to help you theyll have two people working at the register and thats it in the entire building no other staff

Would have given 5 stars but we came to get a few decor items found everything we needed but they had no helium! Someone didnt do their job right.. how do you run out of helium!?

Huge disappointment. The store was having a good variety of costumes. But it was a huge mess. There was literally almost every item on the floor. Which means if you are looking for something you either dont find it or its damaged or dirty. I know this is due to Halloween weekend. But this could have easily prevented by the store proving enough staff. Its not a surprise that on Halloween weekend the people will overrun the store that sells costumes.

Store was empty could be just the time of year or covid but we could find nothing every was picked over .maybe it was a sale that we just missed

I got there just before closing but they were patient and helped me with my balloon order for my upcoming party for my daughter. It it well organized and I found what I needed! Great selection of themed and basic birthday decorations, variety of colors and decor! Always shop here for my kids birthdays!

Love this store, they were sooo helpful with my baby shower. Costumer service is great, they have a large selection and I had picked a very difficult theme to decorate for but it all worked out. And they filled up my balloons I bought online. I’d rate 10 stars if I could.

Everything for your party in one place. Went for a few items for my Super Bowl party. Bought heavy duty 12 and 4 oz. plastic drink cups that are dish washer safe. And their staff found the table cloths I needed.

I will be happy to change the rating if i get a reply from the owner explaining why the clerk couldnt give me an extra bag cause these are all the bags i got to work with all day. Does corporate supply a limited amount of bags, is it the budget? Kind of sad. Otherwise the store is beautiful and organized.

Wish I could not give any stars. Walked in and immediately was looking balloons to purchase.two employees standing there never said hello or asked if they could help. Another customer walks up and the girl sent the guy to go help them. Still no acknowledgement of us standing there. Another customer walks up and the girls answers her question. Still no hello or can I help when a third customer walks up and she immediately helps her. We turned around and left. I will find my balloons and shower items somewhere else who are happy for my business!!!

Kinda dirty

Called to order 12 regular balloons 3 and a half hours before I needed them and couldnt get a straight answer on whether this could be done. Can I order now? I dont know. When should I come in? I dont know. Sales person was no help at all and rushed me off the phone.

Customer service is excellent here. Marshada was so helpful in finding supplies for our party and even offered to look in the back, called me back that afternoon with what she found, and helped me find coupons. I will shop here because of her. Prices are fair and the selection is huge.

No helium. Sold me the baloons but couldnt fill them 3 days later. Ruined my daughters 1st birthday. Go elsewhere. Cheaper places that can actually fill your balloons up with helium even during the shortage we seem to have.
