Ron is extremely knowledgeable and very professional. He will watch you throw a dozen shots, talk to you about your bowling goals and what type of shot youre looking for and then he makes it happen by configuring the drill pattern, core axis, hole size, shape and placement. His prices are comparable to the internet and his craftsmanship is top notch. He turns them around quickly too. Usually next day or even same day. Ive bought my last 5 balls there and will not go anywhere else.

Amazing Pro Shop that knows their stuff and provides the best customer service you could ask for. Ron got me taken care of for my first custom ball. I have large thumb knuckles and I regularly got my thumb stuck in rental bowling balls. Ron got me taken care of and shared some great bowling facts along the way. I live in Ann Arbor but made the drive and definitely will again for any of my bowling needs. Thanks again Ron!

I am new to bowling and Ron spent time with me to find a ball that would work best. He went above and beyond that of even great customer service. I live over 45 minutes away but if I have any questions or need equipment I am absolutely coming here. Shop has a ton of different items of which I have no idea what they are used for but I am looking forward to finding out!

Super knowledgeable, made selecting a new ball an easy process. Probably the most thorough fitting Ive had done for a ball. The store has a nice selection of equipment and is very helpful.

I got my first ball from novi bowl...Watched my wife get her ball from Ron at merribowl a week later, was super jealous of how much more went into the measuring process and the time Ron spent with her.We are on our second ball now 5 years later and Ron killed it again. He spent a lot of time with us, and made sure we were happy with everything.Ball works perfect for my shot, average is up from a 170 to 190+Would recommend going to see Ron if you are looking for bowling equipment of any kind.

Wow!! Where to begin! Heard this guy was the best, At what i have no idea, maybe ripping people off!! Hey im not a great bowler, im not even a good bowler, i know nothing about the game only that i have low revs and lower ball speed, and i need alot of help. I got a dv8 pitbull couple years ago told the proshop i needed a hard hooking ball and he sold me that. Its ok but kept slipping off my hand so i came to Ron for lessons and redrilling. Hell my thumb wouldnt go in past my fingernail, so he grabs some kind of knife thing and starts gouging away at the hole. Now I go out on the lane and slam 3 into the gutter!!! He puts tape in and tells me to practice. How can I when the ball is worse than when i came in!!! Oh i forgot MY APPOINTMENT was at 4:30 and i was pushed behind a couple other guys who he seemed to care about alot more than me. Whatever. So i asked him about lessons and bringing my son in for measuring and a new ball and he says Well guess i might see my wife next week. WOW REALLY!! I had to pay him $65 for that. Damn what a joke!!! Thanks man, Im a worse bowler now than when i went in there!!!
