Came in at 9:30 to do an oil change simple task. Mechanic or counter rep told me Ill be done by 11:30. Called back in at 12 and said its the next one in line and now its 2 still not done. Refused to do the service because we asked why it wasnt done by now. TOO MUCH BUSINESS THEY DONT NEED US
The best service Ive had at a firestone. Reggie always provides excellent customer service. Jessie the mechanic is very knowledgeable and honest. Been to this location more than once and have always been well taken care of.

Nailed my last alignment.They have a lifetime alignment deal that is the price of 2 alignments.However it is only for the life of your car.I have it on one of our cars and have yet to use it.I got it on a previous car and didnt use it again because it was totaled by a drunk driver.The latest alignment I just paid for a one time alignment to save $100.I would buy a lifetime alignment again if our when I purchase a new vehicle.
Good job but the only thing is they did not balance my back tires after they removed my balancers from them.
Reginald & Tim are great. They have been servicing this 2008 Nissan for 10 years. First it was my girlfriends car, now its my car. We both give great reviews for the Livonia Firestone because we are Senior Single Women.
Customer service was great and friendly however it took them 5 hours to even get my car into the garage which seemed like a long time considering their lot wasn’t very full upon my arrival in the morning. Went for new brake pads and possibly new rotors. I was told I needed all 4 pads replaced as well as rotors and calipers in the rear. The bill was staggering. This place charges for a corporate warranty (which is only 12 months or 12,000 miles on the rotors) which jacks up their prices well above the average cost of the specific part. If you come here you will get good service but it will take a bit of time and you will pay premium prices for generic parts. I ended up telling them not to make the repairs and am taking it to a ma and pa to avoid paying for the ridiculous warranty up charge on parts which isn’t a great warranty to begin with in my opinion.
Call before I came said I needed to tires. The wait was going to be an hr. Get here 20 mins later the wait is now a hr and 30 mins 3 hrs later still waiting. Now looking at my paperwork when it printed off at 1:15 pm it said that it will be done at 5pm, but the sale person fail to mention that to me. If you plan on coming here I just expect a 3hr wait at most.
Jessie and David, as will the GM have great customer focus. I have been to this location multiple times and recently had experience that was not expected. When Jessie and David heard my frustrations they refused to let me walk out. This level of customer focus and professionalism is what will keep coming back. Im thankful for them turning around my experience.
Reggie over there did a good job taking care of getting things arranged for me with getting new tires. I dropped off my wheels and they had them done in a couple hours. I had just refinished the wheels and they did a pretty good job of not scratching the paint to bad on them. I dont even mention to be careful with it. Only draw back I had was that they were a little under inflated for the truck I drive. Not drastically just something I noticed. Would have been fine for most passenger vehicles just not a truck.
I call them for an Alignment they said we’re available around 12:30 I had to dive an hour by the time I got there they said it’s gonna take 2 hours to take it in and about 3 hours to get fixed. I mean at least tell me that on the phone I was very Disappointment.Worst customer service I’ll never ever go there again they wasted my time.
Ever since Will left a few years ago, the quality of customer service has diminished at this location. Today, I had an appointment for a lifetime alignment recheck. I arrived, checked in and advised the rep that I would be waiting. I proceeded to do some work on my laptop, and 1.5 hours later, I look up and my car hasnt moved! I ask another rep what the status is and he tells me that they only have one tech (one called in) that can do alignments and hes currently working on a three-hour brake job. My wait would be another TWO HOURS! What is the point of scheduling an appointment?! Had I been told initially when I arrived or received a phone call this morning (thats what Will used to do), I wouldnt be upset. I get it, staffing issues happen, but letting me sit there for HOURS waiting for an alignment is highly disrespectful of my time. Maybe because my service was free it was bumped?? Who knows. All I know is that I will try to find another location that values my time as much as I do.
I’m from out of town from Texas visiting my grandmother. During my visit my grandmother got a flat tire. As soon as I called Firestone, a man named Dave picked up the phone and he was very very very professional. He told us to head right over, he came out immediately when we got there and check the tire for us. It ended up needing to be replace and he got us in and out in less than 30 minutes. Dave had GREAT customer service and allowed me to spend extra time with my grandmother without having to worry about the tire during my trip. I highly recommend this Firestone!!
Bad experience short on workers waste of time for going there
Just got a brand new car and wanted an oil change ASAP. David up front was excellent and friendly. He checked all my fluids and made sure I got fast service. Had bad experiences with car places but I would 100% come back here again!
Only real complaint is that I had an appointment for 1pm. I got there at 1250pm. They didnt start working on my car until 245pm! Why did I bother making a appointment? Other than that it was great.
Called about my oil being changed and they were really helpful. The price was slightly off, but I think overall they did a really nice job.
I went in for an oil change, and the next day I went to use my windshield wipers and there was no washer fluid 🤔🤔🤔. It wasnt checked, so Im wondering if any thing was including the oil. I wont be going back to that location on wayne rd.

Unreal. I’ve taken my car here several times.First alignment came back with a crooked steering wheel.Second time I had only a bolt broken off. That was fine. (Simple enough)Third time I needed an alignment because I put new control arms on my car. It made some strange noises for a couple weeks and now I’m finally taking it apart and they loosened all my control arm bolts to the point they’re about to pop out.If there was any words... never again consumer beware.

Horrible customer service all around! With so many other companys around you would think Firestone might train the staff to be more about pleasing the customer. Save your time and go down the street where they care about what they do.
I took my car for a diagnosis and it had some issues but I end up getting everything done within a couple months and my car is running like new. I trust the mechanics at Firestone. They are trustworthy and I wont take my car anywhere else.
Had tires installed twice, once with an appointment and once without. Made the mistake of waiting. 3 hours with an appointment 4 hours without. Just plan on picking you vehicle up a different day then you dropped it off for basic services and you should be fine. I will not be back though.

Made an appointment for 9am. Arrived at 8:45am for tires and brakes. Was told that the brake tech wouldn’t be in till 10:30. Nothing was said about tires. Walked a block to McDonald’s to get food. Came back at 9:50. Car was still outside. Called the wixom location and got right in there. Livonia has lost a 15 year relationship with my family.

Went in for an alignment, they couldnt finish by end of day after dropping off during lunch.Went for pick up (next day), got charged for an alignment check they stated that they corrected the alignment best they could.After removing wheels and inspecting tie rods.Absolutely nothing was done!They only moved the car the car.Not that I will never use Firestone, just never this one.

Came here after going to a neighborhood shop (having paid for an inspection and never got it), I found out everything that was going on with my vehicle within an hour. Great service, friendly and super informative staff. A bit pricey but well worth it.

DO NOT USE THIS SHOP!!! I took my car in for an A/C check to see if it needed more freon. It was working just fine when I dropped it off. They did the other work and never once mentioned that anything was wrong or needed as part of their courtesy check. As I was leaving, my windows were rolled down but I decided to check the A/C again. It would not change blow positions. I went back inside and spoke with the service advisor. He never mentioned anything about the courtesy check and even said that they would get it taken care of. The tech said that they could not fix it since it was behind the dashboard. I was told to come back and they would make it right. Well, I came back and then was told that I was a liar. A complete insult. It would have been better to just leave me alone. I got the issue repaired for $1300. It is possible that it was a coincidence that it just stopped working at the same time as the test. However, my issue with this review is that the entire story changed on their part and I never received a return phone call from anyone after being promised callbacks from the claims rep, the store manager and the regional manager. I have been a customer of Firestone since my very first car in 1991. I will never use Firestone again. It is not about the car anymore, it is about how they lied, covered up and impugned my character and integrity. Then, they cant even return a phone call. Too bad you lost a lifelong customer and the untold many you will lose and not even know it due to poor handling of a simple matter.
I called last minute about getting an oil change, and they said they’d do it. I got there and they were friendly, efficient and very good timewise. I expected to be there forever but was only there for about a half hour, and this is all last minute. Literally at 6:00pm an hour and a half before they closed. I recommend this place to everyone. I’ve only been here two times but they’ve been extremely friendly helpful and fast each time.
Ill start by saying the staff is very friendly with a desire to do right by the customer. That being said, after having my rear brakes done initially, I had to go back 3 additional times for various problems because the used the wrong caliper on one side. The last time I brought it back they figured out what the problem was. We went to them because theyre a tire company; youd think brakes would be something theyd do well. I guess not. But they definitely wanted to do a good job and correct the problem. They were very apologetic about it all. That part was good!

This is the most unprofessional and rude place. They rip customers off. First they told me my suspension check will be free then they charged me $50 after checking it and said it will be adjusted if I do alignment from them. I said I will be back in an hour because I have an appointment for the tires. They said get the tires from us and when I denied the guy tells me then nothing is gonna be adjusted and u have to pay full for the alignment.. he yelled at me saying RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW OR ELSE NOTHING IS GONNA BE ADJUSTED. I never went back and got the alignment done at a different place. I don’t care about $50, I’m pretty sure they would have messed up with my car and then ask for more money.
Tried again for a second time (my fault) after talking to customer service with the last experience I had😊. Went today about a question for my vehicle, told one of the service techs whats exactly wrong.Very rude as he assisted to tell me other🤔😕 I will no longer go here, its sad you have to drive to another location way out of your area to get good quality customer service from people who cares about their customers and the questions they have.
As a mechanic these guys were unbelievably slow. It took them 2 and a half hours to take my tyres off. The guy claimes they were low on staff. They ended up taking $10 off my purchase. I ended up spending 4.5 hours here when it takes me 15 min to do a full tyre rotation with a hand jack it took them almost 5 hours to take my tyres off and put new ones on. Staff was nice but the timing killed it.

I took a car in that I just bought. It is an older car. They took good car of me and the car. They called me and kept me updated. They kept in mind my budget. They were very kind and encouraging.
I do not recommend this place!!! The wait time was MUCH longer than promised and I was very clearly lied to. There were other customers there that were not happy with their service either. I wont be going back there.

The most pathetically unprofessional group of Neanderthals Ive ever seen. I cant believe this shop is still open quite frankly. How u gonna tell me you cant put a tire on this cracked rim (that I conveniently didnt have till my car was in your shop) cuz itll get messed up, but youll put a donut tire on instead? Wouldnt that be more dangerous you idiots? And what does that even have to do with replacing my spark plugs at all? Youd think a mechanic would have at least half of a brain but I guess thats too much to ask from this place.

Brought my car in to get the steering wheel angle sensor reprogrammed as I had just replaced it and it needed relearning.They told me it would be a couple hour wait before my car even got in, so I called my ride and before my ride even got there they pulled my car in. So that made me a little confused.Then they reprogrammed the sensor to a point where it was better than what I brought it in as. But for $65 it wasnt perfect.Met some other people with the same problem and they said that the sensor was just programmed poorly and that Firestone did not do a good job and to just take the car to the dealership because you cant trust shops like this.Otherwise some of the staff was pretty friendly and some of the staff is the complete opposite.Overall they half way fixed my problem. I guess I should have gone somewhere else to begin with.

I have been in once before to purchase snow tires and also asked for an oil change and they did the oil change for free. Came back in for a swap of my tires on Saturday. I had an appointment at 9:30 and they gave me an estimate of 30-40 minutes. At noon I called and they said it would be done at 1PM. At 1:40 they said another 20 minutes. At 2:30 I finally went in to find out what was going on and at 3 PM the tires were finished. I am still not sure what took so long, the staff apologized and gave me a discount but it isn’t worth the hassle.
I left my car here for a quick check up as someone wanted to buy my car. I left my car here for a couple of hours with no problems. When I got back to store to pick up my car, there was a check engine light turned on. I do not understand how, but the technician gave a ridiculous quote to get it fixed. They make approximately 400% profit on the parts that needs to be replaced and labor charges are ridiculous as well. Watch out guys!!!! Thieves spotted!

Pushed in my Cadillac (literally) yesterday morning due to the alternator dying. Turned out to be quite a pain in the rear to fix because in order to get to the alternator, the front bumper needed to be removed among other things (coolant system, AC system, etc) which made the job very labor intensive.I was quite surprised to receive a call the same afternoon and be told it the repair was complete and it was ready for pickup!The repair cost was quite more than I expected, but all in all they did a good job and other than spending $1800 to replace an alternator, it was a pleasant experience.
Decent place had an air leak in a tire they were fast compared to other tire shops around.
Couldn’t change headlight bulbs 2 1/2 hours before closing. Will not be spending my money here again!

Honest mechanics, really I was afraid theyd try to rip me off like Belle Tire tried but they explained everything in detail to me and was even apologetic that my car was beyond repair. They couldve done the alignment and charged me for it but they explained that its simply not possible due to frame damage.

I do not recommend going to this place. I went there for a 4 tires replacement and I also ask them to check the noise one of the wheels was making. So I paid for the tires and they also charged me for the the inspection which other places like Belle Tire don’t changed anything if you go there to change all 4 tires.I had them do my alignment and they didn’t do it perfectly. According to the technician there was no more room for adjustment on the rear left so the before and after was the same -1.9 degrees out of spec. I ask them to lower the price since the alignment was not done on one side, but the guy kept bullshitting me. So I paid 89.99 for an alignment that was not done.What a ripoff.Never going to that place ever again.

Took 2 guys and the second guy had to talk to his manager all to tell me if they could tap/drill a bolt I snapped off in my subframe in the most easily accessible spot it could be. I left before they could tell me if they could do it or not. I wouldnt want these idiots touching my car.
I had an appointment, yet my oil change STILL took 4 hours. After it was done the technician there with the colorful beads in his hair peeled out with my truck and slammed on his breaks after he flew around the parking lot to deliver me my vehicle. Unprofessional. Bathroom is also disgusting and they should really consider having it cleaned at least once every few months.......

Tim was the person that I dealt with. He was GREAT! His co-worker, Will, not so much. Tip for customer service: Make sure the customer is out of the building before you start talking negatively about them. You see...I was around the corner waiting for my ride after I had dropped my car off. That action alone will prevent me from ever coming there again. There are too many other places that are available and want my business.

I came to this Firestone to get my tire rack tires that were shipped here put on. At first, I dealt with Jake. He was very rude and instead of telling me that the valve stem charge was due to needing new o-rings when you swap tires, he just said thats our agreement with Tire Rack and if you brought those tires back in to be installed itd be $120 (if I recall) since I asked if there would be that charge if I bought tires and brought them in to be installed. I didnt know that this valve stem charge was due to new hardware needing installed on the valve stems and didnt find out until I looked it up online and was confused since I had just had new valve stems put on due to leaks.After the tires were installed, I had found a chunk taken out of my driver front wheel, which wouldve started rusting soon here in Michigan. Thankfully I didnt have to deal with Jake again and instead, Tim took care of me. He looked at the before pictures I took of the wheels and determined I was correct, the wheel was indeed damaged. He didnt argue with me or tell me that theres no way that couldve happened, unlike a past experience of mine at a dealer, but said that it happens and hed take care of it. The following week he lets me know he has a new wheel he got for me and I had it installed on Saturday (today as Im writing this). Props to Tim for making the experience better than it had been with Jake, who frankly, with his attitude, should be fired. He does not belong in any customer service oriented role at any company.

Recently went to Firestone to have my brakes done. Since then I have been having problems pushing my peddle down because it just will not go down accompanied with loud sounds and vibrations. I took it back one week ago to have it looked at, they could not find anything. Today after having a close call in almost getting in a serious car accident due to not being able to press my brakes down I called firestone up again and told them what was going on. Jake seemed very concerned and understanding. He told me to bring it in so they can test drive it and try to find the problem. Although I did have a problem when I did take it in and felt the mechanic working on it didnt seem to understand I was bringing it back in for my safety because he was complaining how its gonna be a while and how he already looked at it the week before... I think some of the mechanics do need to remember customer safety should always be number one priority.Other than that I have to say I am satisfied with what has been done since then. When i went to pick it up at the end of the day(they again could not find the cause) I talked to the manager when i went inside, we had a very thorough talk about my truck and when and what seems to trigger the issue. He was very understanding and seemed to really want to fix the issue. We decided to leave the truck and he was going to work on it in the morning after talking with us about the issue.I still do not know what is causing this but I can definitely 100% say that they tried and are still trying to fix my issue and that the safety of there customers is a priorty and for that is why i edited my first review that was a one star to a four star review.

I didnt have a problem here at all. Everyone was very friendly, didnt try to push any unnecessary car services on me, and because I made an appointment, it was a very quick stop. My only complaint is its FREEZING in the waiting area. They left all the doors open and it was about 26F outside!

Pretty good service, but I feel I had one miss diagnosis from a leak that did not have a leak and I was still charged a lot of money for something that was not needed. Problem is its to late to prove it.

The woman on the phone was extremely rude with me she sounded older and I think her name was Michelle. when I told her that I needed a tuneup she asked me what kind in a very rude way. I am not a mechanic therefore I do not know and did not know that there were different types of tuneups. when I told her that we had already changed the spark plugs she then asked me well what kind of tune up are you looking for in a very snotty way. when I told her about the ignition coil’s needing to be changed she quoted me $399 to change them. the parts are only $100 and it took my fiancé less than 20 minuets to change them. I completely understand having an off day I work I work in retail so I understand but to be rude like I personally did something to her was unacceptable. This place is a complete rip off they will never see a dime from me.
