Big Lots had a lot to offer, except the item I drove there to get. I saw a BBQ grill cover on the web site. It said that about 6 were available. However this wasnt the case. The cashier says that you cant rely on the numbers indicated.My advice..call first. Maybe someone will answer the phone and hold them for you or order them online.

Its been awhile since I was in my local Big Lots. I was impressed with the reorganized store. Good job!

My ONLY reason for 5 stars is because of Ms. Ida who completed my purchase at the register. I was looking for something specific and first asked 2 other employees who were completely unhelpful. I decided to ask one more time and Ms. Ida was very helpful. She immediately made a call and had another employee search for the item. She went above and far beyond what the previous 2 associates did….which was nothing at all. So I say….thank you Ms. Ida!

The change they made to the store by putting the clothes and furniture up front is a good move

This store has good prices on a lot of things. The restrooms are in need of update. I have been looking for a furniture sectional. Theres a good selection of sofas. I dont know about the quality. They have good selection of kitchen appliances but not enough stock. I like that they have kids furniture. I got a nice chair for my granddaughter who is a toddler. The store never seems to be very busy. Theres a good amount of bedsheets too.

Got all items on my list. Not sure about prices. May be cheaper at other stores. Was able to get in and out quickly. Neat place, narrow aisles.

Super clean and organized at this Big Lots ! I was very impressed that whoevers manager of this store, loves their job. All 3 of the cashiers were very friendly as well, which makes for a nice shopping experience. I will be returning to Livonia location even though, I have a Big Lots .2 miles from my house...

Noticing they are focusing more on furniture and household items to the point that hygiene and snack items selections are getting smaller. Alright store.

I ordered a bed Saturday and it was scheduled to be delivered the next day between 11 and 1pm. Sunday comes and I receive a call from delivery/pick up saying they are behind and that they can deliver the bed on Tuesday between 10am and 1pm. Okay, fine. Tuesday comes and it is now 3:00. I havent heard from anyone. I get a call at 3:30pm saying that we dont have enough drivers so your bed will have to be delivered on the 30th....And my bed is still at the store, it hasnt even been picked up yet! Another 5 days?? I spoke with Mike, the store manager and he did absolutely everything that he could to resolve this problem. (It wasnt his fault, he has nothing to do with deliveries!) Mike actually loaded my bed into his truck and delivered it to my house personally! He went above and beyond and I truly appreciate it!Thank you Mike!

Not a very clean store, very cluttered, empty boxes all around, low number of workers, could not find what I was looking for and there was no help around

I like the store but they are severely understaffed when it comes to furniture. Anyone that has ever called or went to furniture dept. knows what I mean. They will have one or two people working to 1 - load, 2 - answer calls 3 - work the floor 4 - check inventory 5 - check out. It’s a disaster. They just need to hire two more people or cross train the other staff. Nightmare

The people in the furniture department are never pleasant and always acting as if they’re doing you a favor. Not to mention I waited 20 min before being helped. The furniture is the most expensive thing in this place and they have the nerve to act dry. They should be very helpful when people are spending that kind ofMoney.

Terrible place. This store has a large showroom filled with furniture, but can not sell any of it. Everything is out of stock, and they can not sell the floor models. I found this out after the employee who acted like he was being bothered said if you see it, we got it. Why not have out of stock signs on the furniture instead of just watching customers try them out only to be let down when theyve made a decision.

Was very pleasantly surprised for a couple of reasons. This store is in the process of upgrading and rearranging and it looks great! And more importantly, masks and social distancing is required for all patrons upon entry and the entire time in the store. All employees were wearing masks, and wearing them correctly. There is a limit to the number of people allowed in the store and it was clearly posted. Good job Big Lots!

This by far Is the WORST PLACE TO SHOP IN MICHIGAN. They have sold me 2 Broken recliners in the last 6 months. And have done nothing but play GAMES about it. BOYCOTT BIGLOTS. SO CORRUPT.

Wow. Really expensive. This store used to be fun to go in. I left with nothing and I cant remember the last time I went to a store and did that (10+ years). I couldnt even find a long sleeve shirt or coat for less than $18.

Pretty well stocked but furniture moved to front and hard to manaver. All staples in very back of store, not suited for elderly. Cashier was on her cell phone texting so that caused a delay in checking out. She eventually recognized I was there but seemed to be put out. She either was having a bad day or just didnt like her job.

Good discount store. Prices have risen thru out years. Check Ollies an little cheaper and better brand name deals.

Big Lots is ok. Theyve increased their selection of furniture. I went there looking for a stand for a potted plant; didnt find one. But the store has a lot of stuff.

I believe the home decor is very expensive but very nice. I recommend only going on there 25% off days. And i did catch a great deal on a new fire pit. But the staff was very pleasant and helpful. They even helped me load All of my items into the car.

Looked on the net and it said that the store on Plymouth rd had in stock what I needed. I live near the store on Ford rd. I get to the Plymouth store and not 1 item I needed was in stock. You cant even get them on line from Big Lots. Besides both stores are poorly stocked.

The advertising Pepsi for 99 cents, well they had none! Store is very empty. Guess I wont ne going back for a long time. Shelves empty.

Clean store great deals! I found purple LED Christmas lights for $10 C7. Just watch the brands as some stuff is not as high quality as in other stores.

I have always looked down on this place for some reason, but when my mom finally took me there it was actually half decent. They have some really good deals and it is underrated but I personally still prefer stores like target and walmart.

DO NOT FINANCE FURNITURE FROM HERE!!!Although I guess I should have read the fine print. The lady in the furniture department basically has no idea how their financing program works.My fiancee and I were told by the employee it was a 12 month interest free program similar to what art van or Gardner white does.However this is not the case!!What big lots does is they essentially sell the furniture to a 3rd party company who then does a rent to own program for an entire year.Our $900 couch is gonna cost us $2100 total with the rental costs added in.They essentially gave us 90 days to pay off the $900 or we have to pay an extra $1200 in rental fees.Big lots definitely has some scam going on here. It technically isnt interest, its a rental fee.But I found out 4 weeks after delivery that the couch is gonna cost $2100 instead of $900 unless I pay off the entire thing in 90 days.I honestly think this was not something malicious done by the sales person, but it was just ignorance.Just a heads up to people out there. Go to art van if you want to finance furniture.This is a textbook bait and switch scam.

Place was easy to navigate, and I discovered some great finds at great prices. When I went to check out though, there were 3 employees standing there and not a single one of them acknowledged me. While ringing me up, they continued talking to each other instead of speaking to me or the other people in line.
