Its okay....felt like I was in a ghost👻town, guess since wasnt a holiday. Anyhow got my 5yr. Pup her very 1st bed here a princess bed at that, and with firm mattress and covers that fit my pups personality couldnt have been more happier. My pups cousins and cat sisters love it, the Disney Princess bed is low enough they can get in it and with her hip easy to get up and out, as well as from this bed to mine right next to it. A totally worth it done deal, My dog loves her bed and now she can sleep right next to me while I finally get my bed back lol!

They are going out of business so everything is on sale. I would expect some prices to be lowered and store was a huge mess

Toys R Us is great because they have every toy you could be looking for. I dont know anything about toys but can always find what Im looking for when Im shopping for a gift. The employees are always nice, but for some reason it seems to consistently take an eternity to get checked out. I am always waiting in line for a long time even though the store isnt that busy.

Great selection, nice people. Very helpful. Its too bad this staple of American Life is going away. In a time of got to have it now, cant wait another second mentality. The browsing, touching, feeling and experiencing actual shopping is dead.

Always go here to check for any new and cool WWE figures. Sometimes they have a great selection and other times theres not much available. But never the less my sons and i love walking around the store. Makes me feel like a kid again 😃

Store is very bright and spacious. Has many items that Ive seen online...unlike other locations. Price on tag was different than price at register...manager stated price at register was correct and i could not get the manufacturers special if he adjusted price according to tag...will be contacting someone else regarding this matter...unfortunately the formula was the purpose of my trip

I love this location. They have everything and even have great service for online orders if you need to exchange or return. Thats why we always shop this location or the Toys R Us website. You cant beat the customer care with regular online shopping.

Over the years I had a few issues with their loss prevention employees. But it doesnt matter now...toys r us is closed now...I have a room full of toys..my last visit was two days ago and the store was almost empty. Remember this is another store that is or was in LIVONIA MICHIGAN! !

I usually always go to the Westland store, but decided to branch out and check this store out. The exterior sure looked ghetto... The inside was nice though. I did find a few things I havent seen over at the other store. When I went to check out there was only one lane open and two girls standing there talking non stop to the other. During check out not once did they talk to me, not one word, not even eye contact. They were too busy talking to each other. I even had to reach over and grab my own receipt because they were so involved in their conversation. It was pretty rude... so if you go to this location dont expect any service at all.

They had a good sale and clearance items. I found something for all of my kids. It was my sons 10th birthday but we like to get something for all of the kids.

Got my pup her own bed and its purrfect right next to mine which her cat sisters share with her when its bedtime. Had hope to find a sturdy doll bunk bed I can use for my cats but they only had a cheap one with cardboard which wasnt going to work. So as I also needed one for my pup their big sister this works out shes 56-60 pounds put a toddler matress full length added an extra board beneath for more center support and it works great.

Very disappointed that they did not scan rewards like they said they did . Because when I went to return something that I had bought just before Christmas, which it has not even been 30 days, I was told I could get my money back cause it was on my rewards even though I had misplaced my receipt . When going to do so I was told it was not on there. So I then ask if the other things that I knew I had bought at that same time as the item i was returning was on there they werent. So now im a little upset that all the rewards I thought I was suppose to be receiving will not be coming do to their lack of follow threw. Also this store never has more then one register open. Its always one and that is the service desk. I was surprised when I went during the holidays that they did have one other one open.

Clean and well stocked. One worker said hello, but no one asked if we needed help or if we found everything. Fast checkout.

Layaway pickup unorganized. Was told they had it. Both my daughter & I had layaways with different first name. They got hers told me mine was there, then cancelled it. I waited an extra 30 minutes while they took the stuff off the shelf. Other than that a great experience

Store is well stocked and clean. Not enough staff if you need help finding something or want to checkout quick.

Nice staff and management, clientele can be a bit rough though considering the area. Used to work for the company and the head manager here is really a great guy

Im giving it 5 stars because it was a huge part of my childhood. Now, its going out of business and every store is a ghost of its former, glorious self. The tragedy of Toys R Us is that they never spent the money, or even had the money, to make their stores relevant or modern. Theyve looked the same since day 1.Friendly sales staff and a huge selection of toys and stuff for newborns. Some of their items are pricier than Amazon, but right on par with Walmart and target.Anyways, everything is on sale right now and most items are about 20% off. (Sale is anywhere from 5%-50% off I believe).

Clean and organized. Wide variety of toys and games. Nice selection of baby clothes.

Clean store, limited staff was helpful and thoughtful, loved the variety of learning toys, not just battery operated - but real toys that expand a childs hands on imagination

Very friendly staff, and super helpful! I go to this location all the time, being a huge Lego collector, and I have never once had any issues or felt ignored! This is how all locations should be run!

They are in the process of liquidating. There was still some merchandise left and everything was 20% off. However, I was disappointed that I wasnt able to use my rewards card. They were still taking gift cards but not rewards cards. Hence, the 4 stars. All purchases were final.

An employee did show me where what I wanted was. However, the product said CLEARANCE & when the cashier rung the items up, she didnt take the additional 20% off. Reasons like this is why I never shopped at ToysRUs.

Area doesnt look the best from outside. Tyler was the sweetest and very helpful. Everyone I ran into at the store was very friendly. I would rather go to this location then the westland one.

They have everything for me and I have an amazing experience every time I go. Plus they have an amazing wrestling shelf.

Apparently, TRUs bankruptcy is so bad, they cant even afford to turn on the parking lot lights. Seriously, the lot was pitch dark. Not something you want in a business whose main in-store customers are moms and their children.Im a 40 year old male with Wolverine-like reflexes (the comic character, not the actual animal. Although, I hear the animal isnt something you want to go toe-to-toe with in say...an unlit Toys R Us parking lot) and even I walked in and out of the store with my head on a swivel like Chris Speilman dropping back into pass coverage.Other than that, the store had toys...lots of toys. And I didnt leave the store crying and screaming my head off like I remember always doing 30+ years ago. Okay, the last time was last week, but only because I got a white gumball from the machine and I REALLY REALLY REALLY wanted red or green. Id have even settled for yellow. Seriously, why do they even make white gumballs?

Best Toys R US around. Organised, clean, and lots of friendly staff ready to help you. Parking lot could use a redo.

Stadly Toys R Us has closed. And we went on the last day. They pretty much had nothing as far as toys go they had one shelf in the front with some Yu-Gi-Oh stuff. It was such a great place and Im sorry I see that its gone. So many great childhood memories here. I never thought in a million years Toys R Us would close down. Its just really sad

Very helpful, needed item returned after a late Christmas with my grandchildren, the gal at the service desk did a great job helping me getting it taken care of.

Just over a week before Christmas, on a Saturday night, and only 3 registers open. All 3 of them taking their own sweet time with no sense of urgency. Shopping here is painful. This is why people shop online, and why this place is failing.

They were so rude to me, I asked a lady to scan my item because everything is on sale she told me it was 7.99$. Anyways I checked out with all my items and looked and I was charged 13$ for this item and I asked if they would take it back and they refused and said all sales are final. I’m so upset, I’m a single mother of 2 and I DID NOT WANT TO SPEND MONEY I DONT HAVE.

I had a great experience, Jolanda was so helpful and spent a great deal of time fixing my on-line problem. She had to call me FOUR times because my phone wasnt working properly. She kept trying till she finally got through. High marks for Jolanda.

Store is run down, shelves are never stocked and the place is always a mess. Impossible to find help to get items they do have. Poorly managed.

1st phone call was put on mute while 2 underpaid unappreciated workers argued over who is going on break. Then 7 calls later no pickup. I hate this location, and cant wait for all toys r us to close. BTW they raised all prices by 25% and are giving a 10% discount storewide. Hopefully this saved you a trip there.

Stacy the store manager has drove this store into the ground. Shes rude and extremely sensitive. Im surprised this store hasnt closed yet. But I have been talking to upper managemen so this store can thrive again. They hire some some really... Uh... Not very intelligent people.

EDIT; last 3 visits haad problems with store card and redeeming points. Also realixed even after thursday 10 percent off and use of points, target is cheaper.Not the best staff but pretty good selection. I typically find what Im looking for and often enough have coupons, otherwise, in my opinion, the prices are on the higher end.

Every time I try to call and check to see if an item is in stock I am on hold for at least 15 minutes. Apparently their store associates are too lazy to pick up the phone. It is so annoying. I hate driving and wasting gas just to find they dont have what I need. So when I call and press 2 to talk to a store associate. I expect to have my call answered within a few minutes, never the case here.

Even tho, the thought of goin out on Thanksgiving is a bit ridiculous, but we werent alone, Todd came out and reassured us all that we would get what came for and or he would help us get it! He explained to us how the process would go, what was avaliable and not avaliable in the store today. He communicated by keepin us informed every step of the way, there was never any confusion about how, what, when or where. He was VERY pleasant and easy on the eyes even😉. He even reminded us of how we were gonna act, lol (like civil folks). The staff was readily avaliable to help us with any questions or to help us find whatever it was we needed. It was a smooth process here today and we were able to make back to our family in time for dinner. Ive visited this store several times, not that it wasnt a good experience, this time it was a very good memorable experience, we got not in record-time. Todd needs to keep up the great work. I remember Todd from the SH store on my sons birthday, we attended Gefforeys birthday party one Saturday and it was jus as smooth as this BF ordeal. Thank you Todd & TrU for such dedication!

The store was just like any ToysRUs. Mostly well stocked and lines longer than they should have been for so few people in the store.

Very disorganized. Every time I have been in there the store is a mess. Toys and clothes all over the floor and things are difficult to locate. The place always seems short staffed and clueless. The cleanliness also makes me cringe.

So, heres whats on my mind...DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING BY BABIES R US & TOYS R US!!!!! As a consumer Im getting really tired and frustrated with DECEPTIVE advertising, which BTW, is supposed to be against the law. I went on-line today to order a rocking chair/glider for my niece for her baby shower thru Babys R Us/ Toys R Us and when I click on the product description it reflects the pic, etc. and states that anything over $49.00 is available for free delivery...and when I click on the See Special Offers under the $299.00 price it says FREE shipping on ANY purchase of $49.00 or more...but guess what...there is NO FREE SHIPPING and I have to go the store & pick-up the almost 60lb chair (that also needs assembly!!) aargh. So I called the store and spoke with the manager & he advised that most young couples are willing to pick these types of items up in the store themselves because they are so happy to get them WTF??? Are you kidding me!!! He proceeded to advise me that he could arrange for shipping for me, beginning at $85.00. REALLY?? Then why do they advertise Free Shipping on anything over $49.00??? I explained to the young manager that I understand it is not his decision, but I also told him he needs to run this issue up the management flagpole and that I would do my very best to spread the word about their DECEPTIVE advertising!!!

Customer service was lacking due to low staff, staff was friendly and helpful once finished with other customers.

Even though they announced that they are going out of business, everything here is still very high priced. I feel bad for all the employees who are going to lose their jobs because of horrible management.
