Went in last week and have nothing but wonderful things to say. The store was clean and orderly. Better than any other grow store in the area. Super easy to find everything that I needed and great customer service. Tyler was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and Traverse really knew what he was talking about. 10/10 ask for these guys.

I’m sure if I was actually able to buy anything here I would have liked it. I walked in twice now looking to set up a new complete room. Boy Iv never felt so ignored in my life. I work in Taylor so I stopped by the one on Allen rd. Totally not expecting the wealth of knowledge and overall helpfulness of the staff there. They get 5 stars. Go to this store if you want to trip on stuff all over the floor and not receive any service.

I have been there before the remodel/restructure, this is when it was more of a store atmosphere. Now its more like a warehouse/Costco, Sams club. I do not mind it at all. It is near a busy intersection / maybe one block. Parking is plentiful at this point in time. Do not go in rush hour because of traffic coming from all directions. Staff is knowledgeable and very courteous. They have a full variety of products no matter what you need, if they do not have it they will get it!! Trust me they can get just about everything! I will definitely go back there and I do recommend it to all my friends and family! Give them a try, you will not be disappointed!

Love this store whenever I have a issue they come thru came in today and bev helped me with all my floraflex accessories I needed and Tyler helped me with my ro water filter I had no idea what filters 2 get definitely more confident next time I need any ro filters

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff! Traverse is an expert with knowledge of anything cannabis wise! I went looking for a specific light and traverse helped me find an even better option at an affordable price!

Huge variety of products. From setting up your system to solving the on going challenges of a mature crop, theyve got the products and are eager to help you find solutions. (they also dont walk up and down the isles pressuring you to let them help you do the shopping... Which I loved) This place is definitely worth a try.

Caution.. Bad online experience. :(I ordered Four 36 replacement bulbs.They sent me One 36 and Three 24 bulbs.Filled out a return form 2 months ago.First they said I missed the cutoff date.When I sent them the email dated 1 week after shipment they said they missed it??Now they keep saying to wait for their reply.All I want is to exchange the three unopened 24 bulbs for three 36 bulbs that I was invoiced for and paid for.I said I would even go to one of their locations to exchange bulbs.They told me to wait for their reply.Im still waiting...Finally got what I ordered and paid for.:)

Grow Generation has SAVED my tomato plants for TWO years in a row now! Bart and the rest of the staff are SO knowledgeable about a variety of plants, soil problems, and possible solutions. They were quick to suggest a natural essential oil concentrate for the fungus that always plagues my tomato plants AND IT WORKS WONDERS. A wonderful gem of a spot!

Its Bart man. If you know, you know.Guy is an encyclopedia of knowledge, you get the information you ask for. Hes got 50 of everything in stock. Clean and well organized, with a solid af team.Theres so many options for everything, I just dont want BS and yet to get any.Remember, dont feed the wildlife, and put out your campfires. Be safe out there in the jungle. ✌️

As a amateur it can be overwhelming walking into alot of grow stores. Not this place. Super helpful with the questions I had, and took the time to explain to me why I needed what i needed. Everyone there was super helpful. Especially Matt! That guy is an asset to the company. The whole staff is friendly and I never feel talked down to. Drove about 25 mins one way and will continue to do so.

Brad gave me some incredible help trying to get a tent set up. He helped me find the right gear quickly, and was happy to explain why it was the right gear. Super appreciated after I left a different store where the employee tried to upsell me at every step. Brad helped me find the right stuff for the space I had.

I am new to hydroponics and indoor growing and by far this was an amazing experience in this store. Not only was everyone MASKED, but they were so helpful. I had several store employees answering my MANY questions helping me to understand what i was doing wrong with my first attempts working with the rock wool cubes and growing in general. I have a plant tower i would like to fill with plants and now armed with their expertise and grow supplies i feel like i am closer to reaching that goal. They were friendly and energetic which led me to believe they truly liked their jobs and the company they worked for. The store was clean and organized and full of every supply. Thank you so much! i will tell others about your store!

Do not go here! If I could leave zero stars I would, I walked in and the person was so rude he walked away from me as I was speaking to him. If I can go anywhere else in the world I would. This place should not even be in business. They don’t even know what Cal mag is. I asked him for advice on some thing and he told me to Google it because he doesn’t know. Why are you even working here? This place should be shut down. This will not be the last time you hear for me.

Much cheaper prices at every other grow store. Yes they have a huge stock but the manager is a total crook. agrees to price match and then bait and switches product. Gets very irate to, when theyre clearly over priced. Hydro Giant much better go there.

Some grow stores seem to exist only for their inventory and others for their knowledgeable and helpful staff.Grow Generation is a place you go to for both! I actually drive 20 minutes out of my way to get here, passing 2 other grow stores on my way, and this is quickly becoming my go to store because they usually always have what I need, the employees take the time to answer questions (or find the answers), and I never feel like Im being sold something I dont need.Bart and Tyler (and others Im sure) are both very experienced, humble, and willing to help which isnt always the case in larger, fully stocked grow stores. Tyler especially spent quite a bit of time and energy helping me understand different components and options to piece together a watering system while still balancing the needs of other customers and Bart has always been willing to help me understand a product or problem solve.Thanks for everything guys and Happy Growing!

GrowGen in Livonia MI is an incredible grow store. They have everything you need, but even better they have the knowledge to tell you which one you need and why. John helped explain his process of cloning in such a scientific way he sounded like a biologist, while also making it relatable/ understandable.Very impressed with the knowledge these guys have. Another grow store told me Ladybugs are my only chance to get rid of my Thrip problem… went to Grow Gen to get some and they showed me multiple products that’ll work and guided me on how to remove my infestation. Saved my crops 🙏👍👍🤙Would give 6/5 stars if possible!!

My wife loves this place. She loves plants and growing things and apparently so does grow nation. You can learn a lot from the employees and customers who share a love of growing, regarding subjects like hydroponics and other growing techniques and a myriad of other products and equipment. She needed clay pebble grow medium which i had no idea existed, But she did. While she browsed i asked a customer and counter person about them and received a short mini course in hrdroponics in about 15 min.

This was my first time being here since it changed owners and store name from Superior Grow. The place is setup like a warehouse now. Wire racks down each aisle with all their products on them. I liked it.. They have everything for your growing needs. Dirt or hydroponics. I wandered around the store for a few and never really got any help. But once I got to the counter and told them what i needed,, they were very helpful and found exactly what I wanted. Good service guys. Thanks.

Great staff with excellent knowledge.I havent been disappointed in the stock selection, 98% of the time they have what I want/need in stock. Pricing is very competitive. Staff is friendly and outgoing.Do yourself a favor and make this your shop for your growing needs.

Employees are either very helpful or very rude so I just try and avoid talking to them. Unfortunately, there has been a sign on the door the last couple of weeks that says Closed due to inventory and when you call it tells you theyre only open 9-5 Monday through Friday for phone orders. Too bad no one answers the phone. I guess they dont need my business any more.

I wish I could give them negative stars. I have attempted to work with Grow Generation several times as a corporate account. They are slow to respond to any request (quotes, service, etc) and have HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE customer service. Do not expect them to stand behind their products or get you any help in any way. After insulting our CEO on our first experience when it came to matching a quote.... We gave them a second chance and ordered a grow tent. Upon arrival, it was missing parts out of the box. More than a month later, after receiving the WRONG parts, I am still waiting on a return authorization to send it back and get my money back. What a rip off. Their so-called customer service team is no help...even when a manager gets involved.

Chris, Moe and Bart are an amazing crew that are super helpful, extremely knowledgeable and cheerful folks. Of all the grow stores Ive visited in south east Michigan, they are the tops not only in competence, but also products they have in stock and their competitive pricing. I will always be a loyal customer!

Great shop!! Ive been going here for a while now and the employees are always a great help when I have questions or concerns about my garden. Just today John took time to school me on Myco, salts and their relationship within the soil to benefit my plants. I highly recommend this shop for all gardeners from beginning to masters.

They are fast and very knowledgeable about the job. They have a tremendous willingness to help. They are all nice and very courteous. I will continue going to the store from now until I stop growing. The only thing that was off about my experience is that the store doesn’t have air conditioning....it was very hot in there. PLEASE get this fixed so I don’t sweat while I’m browsing around.

They literally have everything you need. SUPER friendly workers. A bit expensive but its definitely worth it for the quality. Dont be shy to ask for help but everythings pretty easy to see and reach, i dont wear my glasses and I could even see things I was looking for so🙂

I have been to so many Grow places. Until I finally found Grow Generation the best for all your growing needs everybody is so nice and friendly and helpful. I talk with Tyler (assistant manger) about any problem and he seem to be able to help me. Even Bart the manager will chip in and help carry stuff out to the truck. I Recommend Grow Generation in Livonia on Middlebelt and seven Mile to anyone who is looking for a store that is like family.

Black Friday was my first time at the store and I have to say I was unimpressed. Couldnt help me find a product for one. Then I take 2 items for a price check at the counter after getting g priced check I put 1 back and look around for a minute at the lights. I then go the check out and they hold me up twice because the guy had to take his boss in the back. The treat me like I was a criminal stealing from them. First ti.e he goes back then come back checks me out then proceeds to hold my change while he goes to the back again. Never gave me anything for wasting my time.Probably will never shop here again and I advise anyone else considering shopping here to go to Grow Green Mi.

Great place! Large selection of all your essential hydropnic needs. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable and definitely went above and beyond to help me set up my DWC grow (shout out my dude with the dreads!). Not only that but they played good music that had me singing along and vibing while a perused the isles. Definitely one of the best around, I even have another hydro store right by my house but I choose this one everytime! Keep up the good work my peoples see ya soon!

Not shopping here anymore. Second time that Ive heard the boss yelling and degrading his employees. Unprofessional. Employees are usually very helpful.
