I Just got my bike delivered today...I done my research from what bike to choose too what location and comp.these guys are cool and enjoyable to watch them operate oncoming business at a traffic rate and maintain awesomeness,they also gave me a basic beginners walk through course #Mr.M&M good people good bikes,good location great place for your first time purchase...

Charged me $340+ for just the oil change on my Yamaha r1, and tried to sell me a piece of rubber that goes on the clip of the side panel for another 5 bucks, which I can get for $2. The moment that I said I didnt want it, the lady that tried to sell me that rubber start to talk in deep voice and giving me the expression that I can see that shes mad at me for some reasons. Yep that how this place will treat you, NOT GOING TO BE THERE AGAIN.

Bought my first dirt bike here and it was an amazing experience. Great prices, wonderful help throughout the transaction and Mike helped walk me through everything with the bike. Even gave me my first mini lesson once I told him I never drove a bike before besides a bicycle. Been in business for a long time, definitely recommend them.

Even they are a Yamaha dealership and service they work on Honda bikes as well! They did a great brake and tire replacement job on my Goldwing, cant be more happy here! Also talked to the older technician who worked on my bike and he is very knowledgeable about Honda Goldwing as well. Mike was great enough to help us tighten our spokes and the mechanic put in new tube on Sunday and we didnt have to wait till monday,they did it all in the same day.

I didnt buy a bike here or do any service here yet, as I have mechanics in my family and I can read and follow instructions in an owners manual.I have bought safety gear and various maintenance parts here like motor oil, shaft drive oil, and stuff. When I bought my helmet here, I realized I had to have a bluetooth attachment about a week later. They had a bluetooth attachment and a lovely young lady installed it in my helmet that I bought there. Had to drop it off for a day, but hey, you cant have everything.They have cool gear from major brands. And they usually have stuff in my size in stock, unlike places like (cough, hack, cough) Cyclegear. You might not always save money, but I always feel good about buying stuff here. Very cozy....like drinking a beer in your neighbors garage on a Wednesday night after work. I hope you can understand the reference. Very friendly.Motorcycle stuff is expensive no matter where you go. They usually have solutions for problems like seats, not always in stock, but are always willing to order. They are also willing to refer you to someone who has solutions, taking business away from them, but in the end, looking out for customers. Thanks for referring me to Riggs brothers for my seat guys!They are right down the road from me. Even though I dont always buy stuff from them, I still appreciate them, and I wish them much success.

Was looking and considering a Yamaha WR250 dirt/street bike for my beginning motorcycle. I am seriously considering this dealer since this one is technically the only Yamaha dealer in the Will County area since the stupid actions of one former Willy World motorsports off Reed Street in Joliet, IL.

My 15 FJR 1300A was fixed quickly (new front tire, warranty work, and fluid changes) and they even dropped off me and picked me up at the train station. With a great location not too far from the Lockport Metra, their shop is easily accessible to all of Chicagoland.Special thanks and shout out to John for his thorough knowledge and understanding of the warranty work needed and tire recommendations. The whole crew was just nothing but great to work with from check-in to check-out, front desk, crew chief, payment . . . well organized and utterly interested in how they can help.The shop is nicely laid out with a great selection of oils, cleaners, fluids, helmets, jackets, and gloves. If you are a water sports family they have a great selection of life jackets and water gear too.I was especially impressed with a 7-day work week. Wow. Thats just amazing. I am the owner of 3 Honda bikes and after Willy world in Joliet closed,I was at a loss on where to go for service because I always had good experience with them.The closest Honda dealer to me now is Fox valley but I needed to find a shop closer to Crest Hill.I read all the good reviews from Riches Yamaha and knew as soon as I waked in and started talking with Misty at the counter,that this was the right place.She was so professional that I dropped my bike off the next day for tires,which it needed for the past two years,but I wasnt sure where to take it.Josh wrote the repair order on my bike and was also very professional.I got a call from John a couple days later about some other work the bike needed so I went forward with the repairs.John was very professional and friendly and was great to work with.The repairs were performed super fast and could not have been done any better anywhere else.My 2004 Honda VTX is now tight with no rattles and runs and handles like a new bike.I will be using Riches Yamaha for all my cycle needs.Great job and thanks to one of the most professional,and friendly staff that I have ever dealt with.

Richs Yamaha is the nicest Yamaha dealership in Illinois. The staff is very friendly with helping you with any problems you may have.

My friend and I visited Richs on 8/26/20 to buy a generator. We wore COVID masks because we live in Chicago and masks are required everywhere to shop. A sign on the front door asked us to wear masks. There was a sanitizing station set up inside. No masks were worn by employees. Out of the roughly 10-15 customers (including women and children), we saw one person wearing a mask on his way out. 5 minutes later a lanky, 50-something, thin-haired Yamaha employee (we thought he was the owner but perhaps he was just a salesman?) began playing a video with audio so loud the entire store could hear it. This video made statements attacking the use of masks. Something like Masks are government mind control, the next step will be for the govt to make everyone use a vaccine, socialism is coming for you, Donald Trump is under attack, your religious freedom is being threatened, etc. We were both convinced this Yamaha owner/employee? was playing the video to confront us as the only mask wearers in the store. My friend said, You want us to take our masks off or what? This slim older Yamaha employee replied, Wear it if youre scared. My friend stepped up to this employee and forcefully stated Im not scared, are you scared? The situation immediately escalated. Apparently the employee didnt realize my buddy doesnt suffer fools (or insults) gladly. The Yamaha employee stopped talking and my friend stepped outside for the rest of the transaction. Ive never been made to feel uncomfortable at a place where Im trying to spend $1778.83 before. One of the worst transactions Ive ever been part of. Completely unprofessional. Totally unnecessary. SIDE NOTE: Misty and John were both friendly and helpful. Misty was clearly uncomfortable with the entire situation.

Misty and the team here obviously love what they do and are very knowledgeable about everything in the Motorsports industry. my husband and I have both purchased bikes here as well as had service done, and we couldnt be happier with the support, products, and service we get every time. They have a large selection of helmets, gloves, packs, parts, as well as the seasonal scooters, bikes, jet skis, or winter toys through out the year. Ive been in other store that have more square feet of space and their inventory doesnt come close to what Richs has. And we always feel like family when we walk in the door. Misty welcomes us by name and somehow even remembers what weve purchased and traded in. We both highly recommend this store.

Emailed Richs to see if they had a specific motorcycle in stock in which they did! I didnt like the color and Misty said she had a black one on order coming in February. After sitting on the mt-03 i thought it to be to small so they said to try the mt-07. This happened to be on a Sunday and they would be closing soon so I said Ill come back another day! Misty had said she had a black one in stock and they would get it out on the floor soon, i came back 4 days later and she had the black mt-07 on the floor so I sat on it and she asked what do you think and I said thats the one and purchased it the next day! What a pleasure to do business with Richs Yamaha, they certainly have me for a lifetime customer!

I Called Rich’s Yamaha in early June 2020 in search of a new yz250 motocross bike. After already having stopped in two different stores prior to reaching out to Rich’s.. one of which turned me around saying ‘come back another day, it may be hard to get.’ Another attempting to convince me to purchase a different motocross bike because they did not have a yz250 two stoke in stock. It was a relief and a pleasure to speak with a woman named Misty when I called. She told me she had 1 new yz250 on the way to her store. I said right then and there, ‘I’ll be there with a down payment for that unit.’ She welcomed me to her store. I made the drive to Rich’s Yamaha directly after the phone call. Misty was so friendly, straightforward and experienced. I regret having wasted my time anywhere else. I bought the bike before it had even arrived. Misty promised me the day she would have it ready for me. Picked up my new motorcycle in immaculate condition. I’d leave a 10 star review if I could. Gotta check out Rich’s Yamaha

I had brought this dealer a 2006 Honda CRF250R to have a Valve adjustment and carburetor cleaning done to it. I was quoted some $620 to have this job done. upon picking up the bike the price was lowered to $420 due to the fact that the bike did not need new shims for the valves, therefore the bike had only had a carburetor kit put into it. Along with new spark plug, oil changed, and chain was cleaned and lubed. Very Satisfied, and appreciate their honesty. If I had to nit pick anything it would be the fact that I was told it would take a couple days and it ended up taking a week. But I wouldnt take that to heart due to the pandemic going on in the world could have affected this, or that it is the time of the year where everyone is coming in with their bikes. Overall Very happy with the end result the bike idles and runs like it should where as before work was done to it had not.

After taking my inverter generator to a different dealer for service and having nothing to show besides a repair bill that didnt fix my problem, I decided to bring it here. John told me they would do their best and gave me an idea of when they would get to it. Less than a week later, they gave me a call saying it was ready. The problem was completely fixed and Jack gave me some tips on maintenance and fuel types to avoid any issues in the future. Id definitely go back.

Fabulous shop with a huge inventory of bikes, helmets, jackets, and gear. Went in for a crush washer and left with polish, a net, some Colonel Brassy (excellent chrome polish) and Misty-approved copper shades!Family-owned and run since the 60s and you cant beat the service! Highly recommend.

Richs Yamaha is what service is suppose to be. Everyone there makes sure that each person is looked after and treated properly. Other service providers could learn a few things from theseI was traveling through the area and required some service for my Venture. I called them and they took me in right away. The staff were very polite and inviting, not to mention accommodating. As the service proceeded it was determined that I required a more evasive repair. John made all the arrangements and ordered parts. I’m returning in a few days for the repair.These people went out of their way to get me back on my way and prevent my issue from ruining my trip.The Parts department went out if their way to track down parts for me. The service department went over and above to get my bike repaired and back on the road. They minimized my inconvenience of having a mechanical issue.I would recommend going here for any service and or purchases you may have.I know I’m going out of my way to go back to them. Just Spring-Checked a 2014 sled. This is the second purchase of a snowmobile from Richs. Shopped around at 3 dealerships in Illinois and 2 in Michigan. They beat everyone out on price. They were up front with everything. They also offered the best price for a trade out of 5 dealerships. When I said I wanted to try and sell my sled, Mike, John and Misty helped me place my sled on Craigs List. Misty offered to take pictures for me. John who is knowledgeable in every aspect of the sport gave me advice on how to price and what to expect. The sled sold in less than a week. The service techs are top notch.

The best experience ever. I brought my bike for recall service. John setup my appointment on my most convenient time Saturday afternoon. When I was waiting for my bike they even let me test drive the new Yamaha Bolt bike. I was there first time but definitely compared to other bigger places thats the best place to go. I just picked up my 6 year old Yamaha VStar950, which I also purchased from this dealership, and it feels like a brand new motorcycle. I hadn’t done any work on the motorcycle aside from an oil change and John the service manager recommended the appropriate work due based on the age of bike to ensure it remains safe and running optimal. The frontline cashiers were friendly and very dedicated to ensuring the satisfaction of their customers.Turn around time, even during a busy time of the year was just a few days to change fluids, spark plugs, an oil change, an hour cleaning and waxing the bike and replacing a turn signal I broke (which had to be ordered). The shop polished the entire bike and the chrome work on the bike was bright and shiny and looked like new. I was upset that some of the paint on the bike looked hazy, which it did when I brought the bike in, but that was likely overspray from having my motorcycle uncovered in my own garage during a painting project I did. The nice lady up front saw me upset about the situation and at her own expense offered me a bike cover to ensure I don’t have any more mishaps while working in my own garage. To be noted I’ll be looking into a detailer with access to buffing equipment to try and repair the damage I caused on my bike.You can tell that Rich’s Yamaha is a business dedicated to customer satisfaction. Thank you guys, I’ll be coming back next season for tires.

Stopped by to get tires mounted for my Suzuki GS500. Brought just the wheels. Very friendly atmosphere, definitely feels more like a mom & pop shop than a chain dealership. They have a nice assortment of gear and parts to choose from as well as a nice instock inventory on popular Yamaha motorcycles.Employees were very nice and friendly. As I waited for my service to get done I saw plenty of people come through, to either order parts or ask a question, and the staff was always polite and helpful.I definitely recommend Richs for any motorcyclist, new or experienced, even if you dont ride a Yamaha.

I really don’t think people understand the value of customer service anymore. Every time I go there the staff goes out of their way to help. Today I needed a gear shaft seal. Although they did not have it in stock. They checked twice, offered to over night it if u really needed it and ordered more to ensure they had it in stock for the next customer.It is easy to order stuff online now a days, but I will wait a few days and support this location becaus wit is worth the wait to know I am going to get the right part and the customer service that is unmatched. Support your local Yamaha dealer, and Rich’s is top notch.
