The owner is a true gentleman. He makes his own lures, sells live bait, and has more lead than the big box stores. Really a throwback to old fashioned, small business. I dont think he takes credit cards....I know he prefers cash. Hes not open on Sundays.

The man who owns this store is absolutely wonderful. He was my father’s buddy & I remember them laughing about fish stories to this day. He is so knowledgeable, more than fair, & has a kind heart. If you have a question about fishing, he more than likely has the answer or will find it out rather quickly for you!! He has very unique items in his store, & if you take a trip there with an open mind, you won’t be disappointed!!! I could not recommend this man or his store any more highly.

Charles is so nice ! I rented a uhaul from him and didn’t even know there was a bait shop around here. I will definitely be returning because he has a lot of stuff that’s hard to find. As I read other reviews, yes his work area is pretty messy but honestly some people work better that way, I’m the same way. That shouldn’t be something that drives customers away, you can tell he has a passion and loves to spread knowledge. He is so kind and he has good prices as well compared to other places like bass pro shops which has just cheap stuff in general most of the time.

Good shop, owner is very knowledgeable and can point you in the right direction. His custom made baits are fine tuned and just flat out catch fish. Prices are very reasonable compared to a lot of other bait shops.

I went there today and let me tell you there is something really wrong with the owner. A store associate sold me chatter bait blades and when I was leaving the owner actually chased my truck down, stopped me and demanded I pay him more because his associate supposedly sold them to me at wrong price. Even though it was fault on there own, he told me to then just give him the tackle back and gave me my 3 dollars. Ive never experienced anything like that and over the difference of 3$! This man does not value costumers and also his shop is unbelievably filthy. You cant even walk in there. DO NOT spend money with someone like him. There are plenty of good people out there more deserving of your business

I never been to the Actually store before, but i purchased some of the chatter baits from a marina called water works im a fan of the Z-man chatter baits but the hooks dont hold up very well.I ran across these baits on the back wall of the store, and purchased only ONE in black/blue i stroked the bass on that color for 2 weeks, all the while the hook held up, after getting snagged in a few lay downs, I still never had to sharpen. So i went back and purchased about 10 more of these in various sizes/colors.The Bait has a nice tight vibration too it, skirts are durable, excellent choice of colors, and even throws in a free trailer twin-tail, or single tail grub, hard to find a decent chatter bait these days unless u want to spend around $7-8.00 for a D&M or Revenge, If the owner(s) of this product read this review please keep stocking water works in Naperville, Ill keep purchasing them, and spreading the word. Great product!

Great old fashioned Bait shop I grew up in this kind it atmosphere, owner is a fun guy once you get him talking.
