I have been going to this game store for about three and half years now and never had a bad experience here. The owner is very knowledgeable about what he does as well as both workers and other customers are friendly! I would come here after school/work to hang out with friends or family or just for alone time.It also introduced me to some friends that I enjoy the company of as well as new hobbies such as magic the gathering, mahjong and various board games otherwise I would not have not known about.Most businesses are an in and out business or a business that everything you do cost money. Here it isnt just about the money. You can come here, borrow a board game off of the demo shelf, play it with your friends in one of the various rooms with tables and leave. No money needed.There is even events where money is not necessary such as mtg commander on Sundays or Warhammer on Thursday or the various DND campaigns that run multiple times a week!There is so many events that happen each day for various kinds of people! Such as Magic The Gathering, Pokemon, Digimon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Mahjong, wide selection of Board Games, Wargames, Warhammer, Pathfinder, DND. They even have their own escape room!

Wonderful store owner that cares more about building the community than trying to make money off of them. Very knowledgeable about current trends, huge store stock, and friendly employees that are happy to host weekly events for the gaming community. Theyre my go-to store for board games, card games, miniature paints, and pretty much anything related to hobby gaming.

Casual is a great place to shop for and play games. They hold event days and even have escape rooms downstairs! The owner is always wonderful and his staff is experienced as well as friendly. You wont regret checking it out!

The owner is really nice! He sets up tournaments and has spare rooms in the store available for board games and the like. He knows a lot about different board and card games (like magic) and is extremely helpful.

Plenty of space for gaming. Really great selection of products ranging from simple dice to a huge board game wall. Warhammer, Magic the Gathering sealed and tons of singles, Star Wars, D&D books. Way too much to list. If not in stock Jason the owner will find a way to get it for you. Very friendly atmosphere. Escape rooms too.

I can only say one thing about this place, its a gem. Theres nothing like it if you love just nerding out and hanging out with some really awesome red people who are just generally nice and courteous. They have awesome merchandise for anybody who loves Yu-Gi-, Magic, Pokemon Dungeons & Dragons an Exacta. I have never been treated so nice and welcoming and I will always go back just to stare at their amazing merchandise and theyre awesome atmosphere and gaming room. If you dont live in Lockport its worth the travel just to experience it.

Walking in I didnt really know what to expect. But now knowing how great this store is I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in table top gaming. Its one of the best stores in the area, with a super staff and lots of product.Also if you need a place to play they have room to do that too. Couldnt ask more from gaming store

Amazing people and a place that I could call home

Stopped by to see what they had as I finally got into ttrpg after years of wanting to and just being too awkward and unsure of how to get involved (so I finally do it during a pandemic.) Staff was lukewarm at first but warmed up after more time was spent there, they were more into hanging out with other off the clock employee or someone whos always there and acts like an honorary employee, I couldnt really figure it out other than instead of paying attention to the customer they were gabbing away. I could have probably loaded half the store in my car before they took notice. Another thing that was kind of weird was everyone wasnt wearing a mask, including a self defined regular and aforementioned person that might have been off the clock employee. This was months ago too. I understand if someone has personal views but this isnt a hang out place, its a business. It might have been okay if they were off in one of the side rooms but it was the main sales room and then the regular who wasnt wearing a mask hovered over me so not only was it difficult to do anything but the no mask thing made it really uncomfortable. I was told theyre still playing in store, or rather, trying to play in store as they were trying to get people to come back. Thats what I was told then at least- maybe it wasnt accurate since it was the regular telling me, who really spent a lot of time trying to exude their importance, I dont know but I was a bit surprised given the overall view on that with WoC and just entertainment to be honest, this was also when we were still at the highest risk level.I dont know, maybe its just me but with other game stores that Ive had positive experiences with that have comparable stock I feel like Im not missing anything by skipping here for now until things go back to normal and I dont have to worry about these health issues.I hate leaving mediocre reviews for small businesses and normally Id give a place another chance before doing so but with matters as they are with Covid I think its in the publics best interest to know in the event they are high risk and maybe management/owner can consider a better policy regarding it.

Laid back place to game. He doesnt only have one table in the middle of the sales floor, but he provides free rooms with tables. He has cheap snacks, and gets minis at market prices.

Kids had so much fun. He showed them such a good time. The story telling the personality the games he was excellent!!!!! A++++

This labyrinthine establishment has it all, for both the serious, casual, and first-time gamer. Miniatures, paint and supplies, card games, role-playing sets and accessories, video games, etc. And more than ample space available for hosting your own session. Friendly staff and regulars around every corner, with a ttip or idea to aid in your next campaign. One can easily spend an entire afternoon, day, or weekend exploring and plotting inside.. The bathrooms could use a little TLC, but thats a minor drawback. Take a few minutes and step inside Casual Dragon Games; you wont regret it.

Its always a pleasure taking my business to Casual Dragon. Jason is quite knowledgeable about the products carried in shop and will always try to get in requests for items. If youre into board games, mtg pokemon yugioh etc. This is the place to go.

What a great find! I visited this store when visiting family in the area. Excellent inventory, friendly and knowledgeable owner, welcoming space for playing games. We ended up with 3 generations sitting around a table in one of their play rooms enjoying a new game that we bought. Recommended!

I reviewed this place months ago and I gave it low marks. Since then they have made some minor improvements. Its definitely a low overhead operation and I think they need to decorate better and put a larger sign out front. You would never know its there otherwise because it looks like a funeral home.However, its got the best board game collection in WNY period. You will find board games youve never even heard of and at very reasonable prices. I just picked up a very popular DnD game and it was the same price as I could get on Amazon. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. All the patrons seem to get along well too.

I love this place

A very reasonable size inventory for being opened just about a year. Jasons best asset is his hands on knowledge of the games he sells. And and interest in what his patrons think of those games. He has good industry contacts and can get you a special order I quickly and at a good price. With more then ample space to play games, and a dedicated room for table top games, you really cannot go wrong!

Escape room was a blast. Most fun my husband has had going out in a long time. Highly recommend it.

This place is great! There is literally something for everyone. The owner has a great personality and is very helpful when trying to find the perfect game for my family. He is always very welcoming to my 2 boys and makes them feel right at home.

The atmosphere is welcoming, the owner seems like a good guy, and theres usually a room open to either join in on festivities, or bring your own group to game. I enjoy heading there when I have free time to go with my gaming group.Highly recommend checking them out and grabbing some goodies.

I went for my new routine of Dungeons and Dragons to fulfill my weekly quota of nerding out and some of the members of my group didnt make it. It happens but I still ended up staying and socializing for well over an hour. The place has an atmosphere that it is easy to be yourself. Id challenge people that are looking for a scene that isnt bar hopping or clubbing to try out this place and see if it works for you. Its fun even for the wall flowers that are waiting to bloom.

Always a great time. Sunday evening open table nights are highly recommended.

I absolutely love this place! I play Pathfinder every Saturday and mahjong as often as I can get there. It always has new stock and plenty of games and accessories. Theres an escape room and different types of events all the time. Highly recommend.

I find Jason to be very knowledgeable about all aspects of gaming. Both collectible card games like Magic and many styles of board games. He has a large collection of games for sale and also ones available to just try out. He is happy to teach those to new players. I occasionally visit for open gaming on Sunday night from 6p to 11p.The Western NY Dragon Mahjong club is based here where you can improve your Riichi Mahjong skills every Saturday noon to 5.He is often open past his normal business hours so give a call if you suddenly realize you need paint for minitures or want to get a game you cant seem to find anywhere else.

Lots of gaming space. Over 20 game tables in 8 rooms with one room dedicated to warhammer and games like it. Weekly tournaments, contests, open gaming, and gamer meet ups for organized play(d&d, shadow run, vampire, and more) This place even has an escape room.
