We were looking for a reclaimed wood beam to use as a mantle and reached Mariah and Wes at The Old Wood Store for help. They helped us think through the right size and style we wanted and we looked through the store and their backlot of options and found a perfect piece. Wes came out and had it installed in no time. We couldn’t be happier!

Called Wes to inquire about his interest in buying wood from an old corn crib that needs to be demolished. Was also interested in the cost of the demolition. He asked that I send him photos. Did so. Never heard back one way or the other. Strange way to do business.

Wes was great!!! Super helpful and knowledgeable. Quick response to our text. Worked with us on where to cut each board, and even did the cuts in store and on the house. Were going to have beautiful floating shelves and will definitely be back with future projects.Cant recommend The Old Wood Store enough!

A great guy willing to give time just to help answer questions

We needed a mantel for our new home with only a few days notice. I just happened to find The Old Wood Store online and saw that they were near my home, so I gave them a call. Wes answered my call, even though he was away for the weekend, and even sent me pictures of possible ideas. When he returned two days later, he met with my husband and I and helped us pick out the perfect piece of reclaimed wood for our mantel. He worked on Fathers Day and created a gorgeous mantel that will be the centerpiece of our home and a topic of conversation for years to come (the wood came from a stable from the early 1900s). I will definitely contact him in the future for other projects!
