If I could give more stars I would! We went and test drove a couple cars and started up a conversation with Mark and really felt confident in his honesty. He tells it how it is and doesnt sugar coat things. At this point I decided I would purchase my car from him, but didnt know exactly what I wanted. My husband and I went around and test drove about 30 cars to find the one that would fit our needs/wants the best and would go in and discuss the options every so often as we werent in a huge hurry to make our purchase. After we decided on the car we wanted Mark went to work to find the one within our criteria. Mark found the car but my husband wanted to think on it a bit longer. The next morning my husband went in and called me back to tell me the car had sold and that he and Mark would keep looking at other options. Little did I know the car was sold to my husband as a surprise gift for my birthday. I went in to search cars with Mark a couple more times during the week and he didnt even bat an eye. He pulled up other cars and would tell me the good and bad things about each but never even hinted that he had already sold my husband a car! Mark even got the car less than we thought! I purchased my car from them a year ago today and its been such a great car with no problems!This was my first vehicle purchase on my own without the help of family or friends so it was a bit intimidating at first. I looked around at several dealerships in the valley and ultimately decided on Onyx Auto Sales. Mark was very personable and I didnt feel like he was taking advantage of me or trying to push a car on me. I told him my budget and some of the features I was looking for and he pointed out a handful of cars he thought would be best.When I found the car I wanted, they filled up the gas tank and washed the car before handing over the keys. A couple of days after taking the car home, the battery wouldnt start when I was leaving for work. Shauna quickly drove to my house to jump the battery, and they had a mechanic inspect the battery and replace it - just to be safe. She even offered me a ride to work!I still talk about how great they were to work with, and I will definitely be returning when I am ready for my next car!

I purchased a Kia Sorento from Mark at Onyx auto sales, I did not purchase the extended warranty because the car checked out. Less than a week after driving it from the lot it broke down. I was left on the side of the road in Provo. The next morning I called Mark and he took care of everything. My new car had a blown head that needed to be rebuilt and a new head gasket. Mark got the car towed back up to Logan to get it fixed and took care of it all! Very happy with the quality and customer service! I bought a car with Mark 3 years ago and I just bought another. He is as great today as he was 3 years ago. He even helped us solve some registration issues we were having. We are out of state and so he went the extra mile to figure out what we needed. Onyx Auto Sales is great. Buying a car is always fun, but dealing with the sales people hasnt. Onyx Auto Sales is great! My wife and I had a bad experience earlier this year with a different small and independent dealership, so we were apprehensive about Onyx at first. It didnt take long for that to go away, however, as Mark and his wife helped us find exactly the car we were looking for. We were not necessarily in a hurry in looking for a car but had heard of Onyx so we decided to go see them first. The lot isnt big but the cars they have were good quality. (And they sell fast so he always has cars coming though). We drove a couple on the Onyx lot and decided to do our due diligence and shop around. We went to literally 8 other used car dealers and none of them gave us the personal attention and deal that Onyx offered. We of course ended up going back to Onyx and couldnt decide between two cars. We test drove them both multiple times, both good cars. We knew the Kia we chose was a good car since the owners had been driving it for the past couple months and loved it.We did have a miscommunication with the licence plates (we thought they were being mailed to us but they were sent directly to Onyx). We live in Brigham City and were not planning on a Logan trip so Onyx mailed them to us overnight....we got them the next day....we were happy about that.Great service, personable, fun and best of all, our Kia has been a great car. Shortly after we bought our Explorer from Onyx we had a problem arise that seemingly couldnt or wouldnt be resolved. Mark, the owner of Onyx had the issue looked at (and seemingly resolved) time and time again at no cost to us. Even the local Ford dealership couldnt solve the problem but Onyx refused to give up. Worst vehical I ever bought. I didnt realize the suspension was shot, but thats my fault for rushing. I had to have the transmission rebuilt for $1,900 after 6 months because it started puking fluid and wouldnt go in park. The drivers window stopped working about that time. The engine light came on shortly after purchase. Now, a year later, it wont pass emissions. Its looking like another thousand to fix the evap system.
