I have been dealing with Dave since the mid 80s before he even had a shop. Hard to believe some of the bad reviews. He is a straight shooter and maybe that is why some people feel like he comes across too blunt. I find it refreshing. I have learned so much from Dave over the decades. I know that when I call him and ask a question, I will always get an honest opinion, even if it is something I don’t want to hear. Dave has helped me make a lot of money. He is a stand up guy, and I will continue to do business with him.

Love love love Dave Miller and how he has treated me and my family. These guys have the fabulous prices and the amazing advice!! I found the most incredible coins here. I have friends 3 states over buying here bc you cant beat their prices!! If you are looking to invest in your future and secure tangible coins this is the place to do so. Honestly I cant say one bad thing!! I will give this advice tho for Jan 2021 come in and buy now bc these prices will not be this low for long with inflation rising.

I went to this shop and paid a little over $8,000.00 for a bunch of coins in early March. I called 4 days later, David said he had “hedged” at the wrong time and hadn’t ordered for me yet. I felt like he was being dishonest, and told him I was going to cancel my check. He said I owe him “$500.00 or $600.00, or $700.00”. He never mentioned what he wanted the payment for, he never did anything for me. I told him that if he ordered the coins in, I would still come buy them for the agreed price. He said “we’ll see, about 4 weeks, and bring cash”. I called today, and was told it would cost substantially more, and he still never ordered them. Then he asked that I never come back to his store. David is totally dishonest! The same coins he ordered for me, he now has advertised on KSL for $10,000.00. His cost cheat and lie is somewhere less than $2,000.00.

Dismissive and condescending every time ive gone in myself. Just found out today he took 600 dollars from my dad to hold a gold coin and then up and sold it to someone else. Never bothered to tell my dad until he asked where the coin was. The owner said he will give give my dad 600 store credit instead of his money back. This is when the insults started. He would remark about how my dad has no life and nothing better to do than come in and bother me among other things. my dad never went back. Hes still owed 400 dollars and will never see it. It broke my dads heart and destroyed his interest in coins all together. He sold sold his whole whole collection, 60 years worth because of all the bad feelings over it. My dad is a sweet man and Ive never been more angry. Ill never go back and Im sharing this everywhere I can. Do not give him business

Dealt with David for years, yeah hes a great guy. Hes always been fair and honest with me. Very knowledgeable and willing to show why he gives you the price he does. Seem to be very honest. Im still dealing with him and probably always will. The hrs are kinda weird but o well hes the boss.

As a 20 some odd year customer service representative, to say its lacking would be an understatement. The owners that I dealt with in the past when the store was by the Copper Mill, definitely provided a great experience every time. That being said, sadly this isnt an anomaly

I GO TO THIS STORE WEEKLY AND DAVE AND RICHARD GREET ME AND ALWAYS ARE VERY PLEASENT TO BE AROUND. I GET A LOT OF FOREIGN COINS FROMNTHERE AND PICK UP A MORGAN OR PEACE DOLLAR THERE AS WELL. I LOVE THE STORE, IT MAKES ME FEEL GREAT AND THEY ARE ALWAYS BUYING AND SELLING. BOTH ARE GREAT INDIVIDUALS AND THEY TREAT ME GREAT. I CONTINUE TO GO THERE WEEKLY.

I brought some old jewelry in recently and I think he gave me a fair price. No complaints!

I wish i could give -1star. Waited my turn while he was helping someone else and wasnt even acknowledged. When it was my turn, i was asking questions when another lady came in. He must have thought that he wasnt going to make enough of a profit off of me, so he started helping the lady who wanted to sell her jewelry and i was waiting again.The previous owners were very courteous.

First Ill start with the positive, there is a fantastic selection of beautiful silver coins, I guess that the prices are ok, being a newbie at coin collecting I dont know.Thats where the positive ends, I went in to try and get some information about some of the coins that I have picked up I went in on Friday and talked to his assistant he was very friendly and told me that the owner was out of town and to come back on Monday so I came back on Monday but I forgot to bring the coins with me I told him that I had pictures on my phone, he never even acknowledged that was there waiting to talk to him, he just kept putting stuff away then when someone walked in after I had been waiting for about 5 minutes he went right up to him and said lets see what you got for me, still never acknowledging that I was even in the store so I walked out.I stupidly went back on Tuesday, this time I brought the coins with me I hand him one of the coins and checked it out and after shredding it and telling me that I had bought a piece of trash he handed it back to me and grabbed a book of walking liberty half dollars and started looking through it totally blowing me off, so I handed him one more of my coins hoping to spark some kind of interest or something, he shredded that one too and told me that it was garbage as well, handing the coin back to me without a word going back to his book of coins so with that I walked out and will not go back.He comes across as rude, arrogant and condescending if he treats others the way he treated me, I dont expect that hell be in business for long.If youre buying, maybe. If youre selling, probably not. If youre new to the hobby and looking for information, definitely not!

The owner was rude and very dismissive. He seemed more interested in the two people he was buying jewelry from than answering any questions I had. I went there because of the great customer service I received from the previous owners and did not know that the shop had changed hands. I will not be back.

Very negative experience the two times I have gone to him. I took an 18 karat cuff link to him and he tried to offer me 5 dollars. I got a second opinion and received 150 for the same gold. I recently took a proof 1964 half dollar in a commemorative display which also had a 14 karat mini penny and a 1963 proof penny and tried to tell me it was only worth 5 dollars. Not impressed at all. Very unprofessional. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

Im very disappointed with them. Dont open til noon? Not listed anywhere in the local phonebook (Bridgerland, Logan). The $5 Reviewer sounds like and as bad as when Hastings bought DVDs back between $1-$5 averaging approx. $2 a piece, but thats somebody elses reputation and another story. About 15 years ago a gentleman from GC & DE worked kindly with me on his own time to give me the appraisal I needed and the amounts seem to sound practical. A few years later he requoted the price for my apartment management again to satisfy them. A few more years later when I went back he was no longer working there (I cant blame him...), and I managed to get another blind quote based on his previous efforts. Now the time has come again (stupid apt. management) and who knows what I may be able to come up with. Came today Saturday at 2:57 and store was closed and stated it was going to be open on Monday. Sad business practice when you have the store on google say it’s open till 5 on Saturday and y’all aren’t there.
