All samples were brought to my home and it was immensely helpful to be able to see them in the space and light. Mike G was personable and knowledgeable and all promises made were kept. The crew of two men who did the installing were efficient, skilled and extremely pleasant to work with. They did an excellent job and left the room clean and ready to use.

The FCI team removed existing flooring in my kitehcn then sanded and coated the hardwood floor underneath. It turned out so great and Im very happy! Kirke was so helpful as I tried to figure out what kind of flooring I wanted. Heber was a real professional worker who exhibited much professionalism, experience, advice and caring. The two workers that accompanaied him were also very professional and hard-working. They left my kitchen clean, which is always very much appreciated. I highly recommend FCI for your flooring needs.

Absolutely phenomenal work by Heber and his team. The house we bought had a considerable amount of damage to the maple and red oak floors that they were able to make look new. We asked for light/natural look and knew it was going to be tricky with the amount of damage and wear, but they made it happen. The floors turned out better than we could have hoped. We experienced some water infiltration in our basement this past spring (which had been carpeted). We reached out to Floor Coverings International and spoke with Kirke Cushing. He wisely turned us on to the perfect basement flooring - loose lay vinyl, which is neither click and lock nor glued down, but literally lays on the floor and can easily be removed, dried and replaced in the event of any further water infiltration. As our main floor is all hardwood and the basement would be a hardwood look, we determined that carpeted stairs would not achieve the look we sought. Floor Coverings International was able to offer us the option of hardwood tread on the stairs, to achieve the look we sought. The crew was VERY professional and they did an excellent job of laying the flooring. The stairs were done perfectly and they even matched the stain to our main level floors and the woodwork on the bannisters. They left our home clean and removed all debris prior to departure. Most importantly, the floors look GREAT and the price was very reasonable. Thanks Kirke - we could not have asked for a better experience.

Kirke and the team were great to work with when replacing my bathtub surround. The result is much more modern and sleek than the outdated and water damaged tile we started with! They handled some unexpected difficulties with my old drywall and replaced everything beautifully. The only thing I think could have made the experience even better was being given a more accurate time frame. I was told the project would be done in 2 days, but it ended up taking 4. But I’m happy to spend the extra time to have this beautiful result!

We hired FCI of Oak Brook for a large (to us) project involving replacing a lot of tile and carpet with wood flooring, and refinishing all wood floors in our home. I worked primarily with Kirke Cushing who was an excellent consultant on the project -- providing smart solutions and timely responses to our concerns and questions. We traveled during the project and Kirke routinely kept us updated with photos of the progress. Our installer was Hebert Bautista -- he and his crew did a wonderful job on the work itself, and despite the messy nature of the job, left the house in great condition. We had a very good experience. Kirke Cushing, the owner, came over to our house the morning after we contacted him. He immediately assessed our flood damage and came up with multiple options for a new floor, each within our budget.
