I went to Dupage Prosthetics for diabetic shoes. They took care of getting all the paperwork so Medicare would pay for them. I have had other experiences with a different places it took months to get my shoes, to get an appointment and I had to get all the paperwork. Dupage took care of it all and I got my shoes quickly. I highly recommend Dupage Prosthetics.

I was referred here by my orthopedic doctor. I have a foot & ankle problem, they made a brace for me which works great. I also got in right away.

To be fair, this review is a reflection of the accounting side of the practice. I have no idea as to the services provided as it was my deceased father who used the service. I was the one responsible for paying the bills after his death. I received a bill at may parents house. The bill had a handwritten note on the bottom that said it was sent to collections on May 1. Since I didnt receive the bill until after May 1 (May 4 to be exact), I assumed it went to collections. I called the practice to see whom I should pay. The man on the phone said that he would take the bill out of collections and I could pay him with a credit card over the phone. I said that I was not comfortable giving a man I never met my credit card info over the phone, so I mailed a check. I asked the man to please call me if the check was not received. Several weeks went by and I realized the check never cleared. I called the practice to see what happened. The man who answered the phone said that he never received the check. He again said he would take a credit card over the phone. Again, I was not comfortable with that, but I called my bank and the bank wanted an exorbitant amount of money to cancel the check. I reluctantly gave him my debit card info and asked him to please void or tear up the check if he found it, which he promised he would. Fast forward to July 3, and I got a notification from my bank that the check had cleared. I was understandably very upset. I called the practice and the woman who answered the phone instead of just apologizing to diffuse my frustration, hung up on me. I called back and the man answered the phone and he also hung up on me. Even though they could have refunded my money via my debit card or allowed me to pick up the check in person, they would not let me. They also never offered an explanation as to why they cashed the check in the first place as the account should have had a zero balance. After reading additional reviews, I have discovered that others have had a similar experience (being hung up on and receiving an email that requested the individual never call back). To the credit of the practice, I did receive a check refunding the duplicate payment several days after my phone call. Caveat emptor (let the buyer beware)...

They were very helpful, and were able to work with my health insurance in order to provide prescription foot orthotics.

Horrible - dont go thereThey do not answer their phones, I had to leave 3 messages with no one returning the phone calls and then when I called the 4th time in 2 days, someone answered the phone call and could not udnerstand why I was so upset. Unbelievable I need a leg brace and they just take their sweet time they move at a snails pace and dont care that you need the equipment they just take their time. They actually received the code from the doctor on Monday afternoon or Tuesday and I called at 1:32pm Wednesday afternoon and was told they needed to call and get the authorization from the insurance company Unbelievable Steer clear of this place

I came here for my daughters ankle foot orthosis, the braces were made great and my daughter used them daily. She is now walking correctly because the brace has solved the issue! thank you for your help!

This place over charges and has the worst quality of supplies. They double bill so will charge you along with your insurance. We were also charged for items we didnt get and charged a different price than what was said in the office. When I called to complain about the quality of the sock ripping a week later he put the blame on us and wouldnt take a return. Check out Lombard Pharmacy if you want a great place. This place is terrible.

I was referred by my doctor for a leg brace, they had my brace done within a week. I am doing great with the brace, nice staff would recommend them for bracing.

I HAD AN APPOINTMENT ON 12/15/17. I WAS MEASURED FOR A BACK BRACE. I FOLLOWED UP WITH DUPAGE PROSTHETICS AROUND FEBRUARY, AND THEY CLAIM THEY NEVER SAW ME. BUT THEY HAD MY DOCTORS ORDER. I CALLED NUMEROUS TIMES AND I WAS GIVEN THE RUN AROUND. TO THIS DATE, I NEVER RECEIVED THE BACK BRACE ...BUT THEY TOOKALL MY INFORMATION...
