My company provided me and brand new M1 MacBook Pro 13” for video editing and general editing content. One night I was pulling a late nighter writing a script and knocked over a glass of water all over the keyboard. As the computer died in my arms as I frantically moved files to the cloud I was overcome with panic. Within a half our the computer was completely dead.I reached out to Jason with South Bay Mobile and he let me know he would take a look at it and see what they could do. Turns out they actually do board work which most repair shops steer away from while some shops just replace the logic board completely ($$$$$) resulting in loss of data. Despite the insane amount of water damage, within a few weeks they had me back up and running for a fraction of the cost of replacing the computer. The computer fired up like nothing happened and all my data was there. They are Completely transparent and are great communicators They saved me… I would highly recommend for any repairs… phones, computer… they got you 🙌🙌

I brought my 2011 17 MacBook Pro to South Bay Mobile Repairs with a very unusual repair request. This computer is still great except for a defective Dedicated AMD GPU which has required repeated OS patching over the past 2 years that forces the machine to use Integrated Intel GPU. The Intel GPU works great for everything I need to do and the machine is plenty fast. The problem was that despite the SW patches the AMD GPU was still powered and would often overheat and crash the machine.So, I researched and found a special HW device online that is called a CMIzapper Tiresias. It solders onto the motherboard to permanently disable the AMD GPU. My intent was to do the soldering work on my own. But, then I realized the microscopic scale of the work was beyond my skills, so I sought out a pro. It was not easy to find someone who would take on this non-standard task.At South Bay Mobile Repairs I found Jason, who did a spectacularly slick job of installing the new device for a very reasonable price.My 10 year old computer has found new life and is running cooler and faster than it has in years. It was time to clear out the garage. I had some old PCs and laptops that no longer worked but had valuable family memories and client files on them. I brought them all to Jason. Jason and his team pulled everything from the hard drives, took care of recycling the old equipment and gave me back one disc with all my files on it. Nice work, team. Getting my Galaxy s8 was was more expensive than originally anticipated although completely worth it to recover all the valuable information on there. Gianni is an excellent worker he fixed all the previous issues that arose from a rushed job by a different individual. All together an excellent experience. Originally was planning to rate it 4 stars, but respectively all issues were resolved. Phone works like new.

These guys are great! They include a lifetime warranty on their screen repairs. I had a slight issue with my replacement screen, which happens. They replaced it for me no questions asked! They even do microsoldering repairs on logic boards like audio IC issues, touch disease, sandwich board issues, and Tristar charging repairs. Great place! I recommend friends and family all the time!

I have been getting repairs from your shop since you opened your first location. I have gotten my iPhone 6 screen replaced a couple of times. Have never had an issue with that, always worked and looked great after repair. I got my 3Ds dried and cleaned from you guys and i was super happy you guys were able to save it. I got my iPad screen replaced and had issues with the screen but when I reached out to you my questions were always answered and after it was determined it was a faulty part you offered to exchange my iPad completely for a newer model! How awesome is that? And Just this weekend I went back again to get my battery replaced for an old iPhone 5. I got to his shop a little after closing and he still helped me out and checked my phone in. I have always had a wonderful experience with Jason Bane and his team South Bay Mobile Repairs . Fast and friendly. Very reasonable price. Cracked my iPhone 6+. Fixed in 15 min. Call ahead to make sure they have your screen. You may not see it from the parking lot. It is around the corner and tucked into the side of the strip mall.

I went the first time when they were on Narbonne Ave PCH, & had a little issue after and thought it was a coincidence. Later on, When they moved to Lomita Blvd & Narbonne Ave, and went to fix my iPod, there was another issue. I do not recommend again going if you wanna get parts stolen from your phone. MAKE SURE YOU READ THEIR WARRANTIES & they GIVE you one !

I went in with a broken charging port -- except they found it was some grit that was blocking the plug and thoroughly cleaned it out. They charged me a nominal fee that was well worth it. They could have replaced the port and charged me for the full price, but they have integrity!

I went to go get my iPhone screen replaced. The guy that helped me out was really cool and was done with my phone in 10 mins. Definitely going back here and recommended.

From start to finish the staff at South Bay Mobile Repairs was very helpful and knowledgeable. They were very quick to reply on their Facebook page. Upon arriving at the shop Jud was very helpful and able to fix an iPhone 6s+ screen right away. They offer aftermarket and oem options for screen replacements and give you a basic warranty for defective hardware. But the cool thing is they also offer a screen replacement warranty in case it breaks again.Great first experience at a great shop. I definitely recommend that you visit them for any of your cracked screen repair needs.Awesome service.Awesome price.They even have a mini pool table you can play with while you wait. 😀
