I would recommend Dr. Nozaki to anyone looking for a great optometrist. He’s very thorough, explains everything he’s doing, answers any questions and you don’t feel rushed to get you in and out quickly. His entire office are helpful and friendly. There isn’t any negative thing I can say about them. He also gets to know you as a person, not just another client.

I called Dr. Nozakis office to find out if they could accommodate my 92-year-old father, who is confined to a wheelchair. I was relieved to find out they could. Dr. Nozaki did a very thorough exam without having to get my Dad out of his wheelchair or move him to a different room. My Dad has macular degeneration in one eye and a cataract in the other. Lots of challenges! He was so pleased with the exam, and especially the kindness of Dr. Nozaki, that hes recommended him to everyone in our family.I am also a prior patient of Dr. Nozaki but moved out of the area 21 years ago. I first started going to him because the optometrist Id been seeing wasnt able to get my contact lens prescription quite right, which was very frustrating to me. Dr. Nozaki quickly identified the problem and gave me a perfect prescription. This was huge for me since Im an avid reader. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Nozaki!

Drs. Nozaki and Ming are outstanding and their team is top notch! Both docs are UC Berkeley grads, and very knowledgeable yet down to earth. Dr. Nozaki is an amazing optometrist, the best that I have ever seen (I’m very near-sighted with astigmatism and other ODs have struggled with identifying my prescriptions). Dr. Ming specializes in treating those with extremely complicated vision issues and is able to customize contact lenses for her patients who are normally told contacts are not possible for them. Add the warm and helpful atmosphere, the latest exam equipment, fun Disney decor, and a wide range of frames, and this results in five-star optometry services. Highly recommend!

I continuously have BEST experience with Premier Vision. My first experience was when I needed glasses for my 1 year old son during COVID. I looked online and glasses would have taken months to arrive so I called a ton of eye drs to see if anyone could help my son get glasses faster. Dr. Nozaki from Premier vision was the only doctor that called me back (on a holiday weekend) and when they opened up they saw my son and had glasses ready for him to pick up within 2 hours. More recently after having received the wrong prescription from my eye doctor TWICE, I went to Premier Vision Care to see if they could double check my prescription. Premier has advanced technology that can check your vision three different ways. They confirmed that my prescription was in fact wrong and ordered me new glasses. I am so happy that I found Premier Vision Care! Also, their front office staff is so friendly and kind. They are so understanding and helpful. Highly recommend!

Dr. Ming helped my 7 year old son see great using the ortho k process. Based on my experience, ortho k process is not easy initially for little kids but once the process is established, it gets easier. Do your research on myopia control and do what’s best for your child.

I would give Dr. Kent Nozaki 7 stars, if I could. The depth and breadth of his knowledge is incredible. From the equipment he chooses to the atmosphere created by his staff (also SUPER awesome!), he is unparalleled quality at everyman prices. Even if you dont have insurance, the price you pay here is VERY worth it. I swear that if I have to move, Im flying back in to see him at least every 2 years. Yes, he is THAT worth it. And to top it all off, theres a real and true family feel to everything. Dr. Nozaki really cares. And that, in and of itself, is priceless.

Today was my first visit, I saw Dr. Ming. She was very nice, sweet personality and compassionate. Whenever I come to a new doctor I do alot of research, check out reviews etc. Let me tell you, what I read of Premier Vision was 100% correct, ranging from the greeting I received, the exam, the friendliness of both doctors as well as the staff was above and beyond any doctor Ive been to. Dr. Ming explained everything as she performemd my exam, she made sure I was comfortable and understood what the particular tests were for for prior to performing them. If I had any questions she was more than willing to answer them in detail. I also met Dr.Nozaki, talk about a Disney lover. While I was waiting for my eyes to dilate I met him and had a little chat regarding all the memorabilia he had displayed, it was amazing. Not inly is this man passionate about his job but Disney as well, I loved it.The entire vibe and atmosphere at Premier is welcoming, you cant help but feel comfortable. Talking to them was like talking to a friend rather than a doctor. Im not sure of the receptionist name but she had an amazing personality, instantly comfortable and probably bored them because I kept talking about various thi hs because of how comfortable I felt. The young woman who began my exam was the same way. I love Dr Kent and the staff. The new location is very nice. I have been a patient for 2 years, since Dr Kent was willing to listen to concerns I had about my right eye and he took the time to check it out and found why. No doctors previously would listen. Everyone on this office is professional and also very sweet. I returned this week for new contacts, mine were very old and gross but everyone was super nice about it and they helped me move forward and order new ones. I am excited to be sending my kiddos there as their insurance has recently changed. I highly recommend this vision practice.

I followed Dr. Ming to this office from her previous practice. I owe my eyesight to her! Dr. Ming caught a serious issue with my eyes during a routine exam with no symptoms (also in my 20s and otherwise very healthy.) She insisted on seeing me the following day (a Saturday) to take another look and then referred me to a specialist who confirmed I had extensive retinal tearing and was at high risk for a detachment. I am a regular contact lens wearer, so I see an optometrist every year and always have my eyes dilated. It is very unlikely that this happened overnight, yet no other doctor has ever caught this issue.Dr. Ming was prompt with following up with the specialist to be sure that I was able to get an appointment right away. Although I have since moved and it’s quite a drive to her office from my home, I will continue to trust her with my eye care knowing I can trust her to be thorough and committed to providing quality care.At my most recent visit to see Dr. Ming at this office location, I also met Dr. Nozaki, who introduced himself and took an interest in my case history. He spent some time checking in with me about my eyes along with Dr. Ming and getting to know me as a patient as well which I appreciated.I’ve never had a “great” experience with an eye doctor before, usually just a run of the mill situation. If you are looking for an eye doctor to be your go-to long-term care provider, I highly recommend you visit this office!

First time for my family to be seen by Dr. Nozaki and Dr. Ming. I specifically looked for Optometrist that does kids eye care. First impression, I made an appointment over the phone the staff took my kids info and was super nice and patient. The place is clean and welcoming. The kids fell in love with all the Disney collection. Dr. Nozaki was very patient with my 6 year old girls. Dr. Ming was also patient and kind to my son.
