Quality work and good customer service. My building was burnt down due to transients in the area. The technician came in and did the job and cleaned up as a courtesy.

Cant recommend Fred or his company AAB Garage Door highly enough. Initially, he replaced our old wooden garage door and gave us a new motor with a keypad and a motion-activated light. Now, over a decade later, we had to move the motor b/c of a garage remodel. Fred suggested a side-mount motor which he just installed. Its quiet and powerful and will probably work for a long time. If not, I have every confidence Fred will stand by his work. You cant go wrong hiring AAB for your garage door needs.

After installing a new sprocket coupling on our Liftmaster Garage Door opener by ourselves, we encountered a problem after trying to reopen the Garage Door where the motor started to act in an odd way. Concerned, we decided to call AAB to check on it to see what was wrong with it.Thankfully the technicians service was excellent, and managed to fix the issues. The Door motor is now working smoothly, and the guy also told us of one other issue he found that although it is still fine for now, one day it could go wrong at any moment in the future.So for the time being the motor will still run like always but when that problem finally needs to be replaced or if there are any other new issues on our Garage Door and/or Motor, we will definitely call them again.Thank you for your outstanding service!

I called AAB about a problem with my garage door and Fred came out that day! The tech was very nice and knowledgeable. I decided to get a new system and the tech went to warehouse, picked up new system, and installed it that day! He even helped me program our 2 vehicles to open it! I appreciate his kindness, speed in his working, and NO pushing me into buying the new system. Great company with awesome customer service!!!

Recently our garage door springs was broken and decided to call AAB since weve used them before through Lowes 1 yr ago. He had the parts and quoted us $345 (30%) more than average which I thought was high in my mind to replace springs at that time, but end up going forward with the service due to convenience and 10% discount in paying cash.They did replace it and get that job done so that was good, but this is probably the last time I will use these guys because after validating with the other two garage specialists I was not so happy (both quoted me the honest $200 fee). It is what it is when you are not familiar with whats wrong vs charges, so I thought I share my review here and be a lesson learned moving fwd. Thank you and wish you all the best in your business.

AAB Garage Door & Repair was great. Super easy to make an appointment in his website, and he sent me reminder texts and his address. He worked really quickly and showed me that the screen was new. Everything works and looks great and it took about 15 minutes. The price was $90 for an iPhone 5--very reasonable, especially for quality of service.

The owner/technician Fred Kabalawi is a liar. If he offers to come take a look at your garage door, be aware that he will attempt to bill you $85 just to drive his truck over and look at it - no work done. When you receive the $85 bill for no work and ask to speak to his boss about the bill, he will pretend he is not the owner of this company and try to tell you he is just a technician and that his boss is out today and offer to charge you $65 instead because he feels bad. When you call him the next day after you find out he is the boss of AAB garage door and was lying the whole time, he will continue to lie. After you confront him he will muffle his voice and pretend the call is dropping. This dude is a scam artist and judging from my experience and others, you should not give your business to him.

This company is the worst company to do business with and I urge you to go elsewhere. I have purchased several garage doors and openers from Fred and they all have had issues. The most recent one at my house is faulty and not installed properly which is causing all the glass panels to crack in the corners because it was not aligned correctly. There are major gaps at the top. His installer who finally came to see it after 15 calls,. Not an exaggeration, said only Fred knows how to reprogram the system. All fred does is keep telling me he is coming but never shows up and I have phone logs of how many times I have to call him. I am going to file a lawsuit now to get the system replaced. Stay away.

Fred Kabalawi installed two garage doors for my apartment building. He attached the heavy sheet metal garage door to the hinge that is loaded with two big springs with sheet metal screws. Two months later the screws stripped off the sheet metal door and broke the hinge. As a mechanical engineer for 20 years a rule of thumb when designing a screw the thread’s depth for a screw should be equal to 1 ½ times the screw diameter, when attaching a sheet metal door to a hinge it is recommended to use bolt and nut. Fred came out to check the broken hinge and we found the screws that were supposed to be attaching the hinge to the door stripped off the door and falling on the floor. As a result to this, the hinge broke. He then told me that he would bring a new hinge to fix the garage door. After a week, I called him to see when he planned on coming but he ignored all my calls and messages. The garage door had not been fixed for two weeks so I had to hire someone else to install a new hinge. Fred did not do a good job in installing my garage door and did not respect the contract one year warranty that he signed. If you are considering on hiring him, I recommend looking for someone else.

Do not use this guy service. He does not guarantee his work. He doesnt explain the issues. Very weak in his English language. The door keep coming of track when he changed the opener and the springs. I called some other company and they told me that he installed a different size springs.

Called Saturday about my broken garage door. They came on Sunday and had in fixed and a new opener installed within a few hours. Nice, professional and would highly recommend to anyone!

I showed up 20 mins before my appointment and he replaced my lcd digitizer front panel screen on my white iphone 4s in 15-20 mins at a really great price with quality parts. fast quality work, by the looks of his work and his work area lol he has alot of experience in repairing these devices. wouldnt go anywhere else. Thanks Aaron! ill be bringing in all apple/mobile devices for service in the near future hopefully none of mine lol

Very disorganized, called after their repair went wrong six times, they not only didn’t show up but forgot cancel repair on garage they goofed up. Too many options to get taken by these guys. Run.
