OMG! I have been building model cars, ships, planes etc since I was six. This place also carries miniature trains and slot car racing sets. I could go on and on. I am a hobby geek for life.

At Pacific Coast Hobbies for the enthusiast you can find a wide variety of your favorite hobby whatever it may be and more. They have childrens Hobby and some toys theres complete slot cars and separate cars of your choice plastic model kits cars and airplanes rockets that shoot up in the sky remote control airplanes and very few Nitro RC they still sell the Nitro fuel but theyve discontinue the Nitro to go green because of people and the noise of the nitro cars or trucks. Now they have the electric and brushless Hobby and for you train lovers they have complete train products separate train tracks and Landscaping Ive been shopping at Pacific Coast hobby for a while now to get all my needs that I want so if youre just starting out this is the place that you want to go the employees there are great very helpful in the knowledge of the products that they sell like Kindle and Brian and a few other employees so P C H gets a 5***** on my experience with the hobby shop.

The guys are knowledgeable and friendly. I needed a model car kit and the directed me to their big collection of kits. I saw mostly American cars. There is a lot of star wars kits as well. The place is crammed with stuff to the ceiling so you are bound to find what you are looking for. Definitely recommend this place.

Went in to purchase some decals, and they said that they had none in stock, and that since they are hard to get, they havent made much of an effort to try. I was also told that since no one was racing and being sponsored, they werent going to attempt to bring any in anytime soon. I found what I needed on Amazon instead.Had to add that this was the first time they had ever failed me. Usually we find what we need when we go.🤷🏻‍♀️

Well my name is Ruben and also they got some very good RC cars there for a very good price me person I recommend that RC place to get any parts for you RC and it good mechanic up there I got a rustler for very good cheap and then put maybe $1,000 into a dirty but erased pretty good the next trip

Im just getting into rc. Picked up a nice rc from this place. Worst vibes ever. Just a sales store. They seemed to take my Money easy. But thats pretty much all they can do here at pacific coast hobbies. If youre going to get into rc. Buy your car online. And see if they have good YouTube videos on the model you chose. Gl and have fun. Dont buy from pacific Coast hobbies. You can get the same experience buying online.

Love this place. Picked up a Traxxas Slash 4x4 and an Axial SCX24 Crawler from here. Very knowledgeable and professional team working here at PCHobbies. This is Hobby Shop is the best one Ive personally been too. Happy customer I am.

When i called asking if they offer a soldering service for my 1/10 rc car to solder the motor and esc? Brian said: yes!Went to them, Alex informed me that they cant do it today because they have a line of customers that are waiting!!! im a customer too!!(my rc and all parts wast purchased from them)He was not helpful at all, and asked me to leave it and come back tomorrow, he just want to help other customers who wants to purchase parts, which eventually theyll pay more than what i do as only for soldering and couple batteries, plugs and wires.So, it was a waste of time for me driving to the shop, waited outside, and bad experience.So disappointed...Will never visit again.

I get all my parts and truck here but after awhile they were wired and then I bought a drone and it didnt work out of the box then I took it to them and they said no refunds but how am I supposed to know if it would work

Love to review this place but I couldnt get in the door as they were only allowing 6 people in at a time.Ridiculous when you consider all the other stores are full of people.If your that worried about catching a virus you have NO BUSINESS even opening your store, pathetic... not true there are no consistent rules, Michaels for instance no line just a mask requirement, packed.Supermarkets no big deal, nail salons for another example.Its your business of course Im just saying that my business was lost. I went to another store of course where there were no restrictions.You do you but all Im saying is how much more business you could have.

I’m giving them one star the reason is I had wanted to get an airplane first of all the selection of airplanes wasn’t great but it was like an impulse buy otherwise I would have just ordered one online to wich these days is the best way to buy any RC hobbie items so I picked out this airplane and it wasn’t a BNF or a RTF as I wanted to assemble it as this is part of the RC hobby I enjoy anyhow I asked the guys there if they have all the parts needed to build the plane and get it in the air first guy said he doesn’t really know much about flying models and passed me off to a guy who “knows everything about flying models” so he looked on the box at the list of parts needed to finish at this point he started pulling out servos said they would work well they were too big and didn’t fit I understand that when building a model you have to sometimes make things fit but I told the guy these aren’t what the box says and he replied oh these are pretty close then for the motor he grabs one with the same kv rating the box says and hands it to well this motor had the wrong mounting points and didn’t fit the planes motor mount it’s like they just pulled a bunch of parts just to make the sale they could have said oh we don’t have these parts cause it’s not like I could look at a variety of parts and pick for my self as all these parts are in a drawer or behind the counter so if I had picked out the wrong parts okay that would be on me but they picked out the stuff and said The stuff would work anyways some more knowledgeable staff would be nice just not people trying to schlep random parts off to people saying it will work I would have appreciated them telling me that didn’t have the right parts at that point I would have picked something else out yet another lesson to buy all my RC stuff online where I can pick the exact things I need for my builds brick and mortar stores just don’t have it anymore

So far Ive gone twice, and the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful, and very pleasant people. They helped me with an old RC car I was trying to rebuild but I bought a new Traxxas stampede. I definitely recommend this place and I will be back in the future

A grown mans toy store

Here was my issue, and my review can be edited: I called in advance for specific items that werent there twenty minutes later when I arrived. Other that that, no issues, staff is helpful, great selection of products. Sorry for not giving five stars.

I must admit...at first I was seriously impressed by the first visit. Then disappointed because of down time for repairs of my model....BUT!!!,and this is the best part people...I was incredibly impressed by the staff at their commitment to regaining my trust again.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE GUYS!!!!

I was just here recently to look for a drone and the employees were very knowledgeable and helpful on helping me choose what to buy. They even know about upcoming products, and if they will have them or not ahead of time. Not only drones, this place has everything for any hobby imaginable. Trains, cars, boats, models, electronics. Collectibles. Prices are fair for a local place that can always have what you need on hand and not bother waiting for shipping.

I came for supplies for working on my Gundam models. As a lady hobbyist I was a bit nervous but the staff here was friendly and knowledgeable - they treated me well. While their Gundam model selection was a bit small, their paint, pens, and blades were well stocked. I will definitely be a repeat customer.
