HORRIBLE, horrendous and a nightmare ! ! ! I have never had such unbelievable customer service. To start off all I ever did was go online to check out the deals and prices available. I browsed for a particular couch to see if they had it. Next thing I received multiple calls and texts from associates from the local store. That was good. But after that, the nightmare begun. I started to get emails that said “welcome to the rent a center family and my agreements were complete,myhey even gave me contract numbers. I called the local store to find out what was going on and asked for an explanation. The associate Martin said everything was ok, I didn’t have an agreement and that was normal for that to happen. I explained I never signed an agreement or received merchandise. Martin said it happens. I requested to speak to the manager and he said he was one. I felt uncomfortable and called the 800 customer service line. They said that what Martin said wasn’t normal and even said there were 2 contracts with my name on the, and down payments were made. They escalated it to the next level district manager. Weeks have gone by with not even a phone call from anyone. I have called 7 times for answers only to get the same excuses. I asked for the next manager up, the regional and still nothing. The only helpful ones were alex, daniel and roxanna from the number. The store, district and regional managers have completely avoided doing their jobs and duties. I have begun to lose faith in any if them. I am going to keep trying the next level managers until I get some type of explanation. I will also go the USAF base commander to have them keep anymore military and veterans from using rent a center. I will get the federal authorities involved as well as the press and better business bureau. This local rent a center is committing crimes of theft and fraudulent activity. They will have to answer sooner or later.
They were great with the bed we got. They had me paying for a ring camera around 600 and I found out that a ring camera cost 99.00 7 or 8 months later I wanted a gaming laptop. I called them and that day they charged my account 170.00 I didn’t even approve. Wierd, don’t trust them, I called my Husbands Bank, hope I get this money refunded!!

I ordered a bedroom set from them. It was a 4 piece. First they only delivered 3 pieces. I was told they made a mistake and would deliver the last piece the next day. Then the bed was missing a bracket. they installed the bedframe so I was not able to find this out till it was to late. and my daughter got injured. After that I called and they told me that I owed the money for the set even after they sold me the defective furniture. They still did not bring over the last piece to the bedroom set. After closer inspection of the broken bed I found insect droppings and dead roaches. Horrible experience. Buyer beware. They are a scam.
First off this place has poor customer service, and they hound you over payments even when always on time. We had bought a couch for about 700 that was worth maybe 200. And they sold it to us with a huge hole in it and didnt even tell us about it or give a discount due to it. Worst place ever, go to creative rents instead Andy takes really good care of his customers these ones here need to shut down. Ps. I shouldnt need to contact RAC for a fix it should have already been implemented, check your products before selling them perhaps and get courteous staff

Terrible service! We Asked For New Couches And Got Used Ones That Came With Bed Bugs . We Called Them The Same Day And Told Them We Killed A Bug On Us And They Didnt Pick Them Up 3 Weeks Later Finally They Sent A Guy From Terminex To Check Them . WE know It Was From The couches Cuz We Moved In With Nothing The Only Thing We Had In The Apartment Was The Couch. TODAY, Which Is Two Months Later We Are Still Getting Bit And Finally Rent A Center Came Out To Pick Up The TV From Us But Refused To Pick Up The Couches And Said Theyd Give The Couches To Us No More Payments . We told them We Dont Want Them, Help Us By Taking them Or Paying For The Bed Bug Treatment They Refused To Take Their Couches aand BedBugs And Left
