I am very weary of leaving bad reviews but unfortunately my experience warranted it. I usually go to other dealerships for services but at the time they did not have oil filters and thus I ended up going to this one. For it being my first time, you can understand that I was very confused with the layout and process. I was not familiar with the loaner process as other dealers allow you to schedule ahead of time and in this situation I had to essentially plead with staff in order to get a loaner for a couple hours despite me explaining my commute and the need for a vehicle for a short period of time. Usually I am informed of all the services that will be performed, including car washes as I normally decline those given that I paid to get my car ceramic coated. In this instance I was not asked and they went ahead and did it anyways. The wash only cleaned the sides, leaving piled on dirt on both the from and rear end. It also left swirls along my paint on both driver and passenger side. I did inform the service manger of my experience but I was ultimately told that the wash couldn’t have caused that damage since they put their cars in it as well. Additionally, I offered to show them pictures of how my car was left after the wash but they did not accept to see them.

Brian and Josh provide great customer service and always keep me informed throughout the time my vehicle is there. I feel they are in tuned with customer needs.

Ive moved three times since I got my Mini, but Ive been going out of my way to take it here because of the great customer service and trustworthy staff - Ive always been told to stay away from dealerships for maintenance because they rip you off, but I have repeatedly been told honestly and without manipulation what my car needs and doesnt need here. I also appreciate the free car wash and comfortable waiting area - I make appointments on days I have a lot of work to get done and settle in. Ive been able to bring my dogs without a problem - its basically a very productive day trip.

Took my car in first thing on a Friday morning without an appointment due to a car malfunction notification that appeared in my car. Being that my parents owned a BMW prior, I was familiar with the amazing service provided to customers and was hoping that that would be the case. I purchased my car in 2019, and thankfully hadnt needed to bring it any for any major issues so this was my first real experience besides oil changes/maintenance/tire replacement. I did not hear back from my service provider until 4:30pm that afternoon, but was not informed any sooner that my car would need to stay for a few days until replacement parts arrived. Being that Covid has delayed and limited everything I was very understanding of this. However, I was told that I could stop by Saturday to request a loaner car. I was dropped off Saturday, and was told there werent any BMW loaner cars available. This was upsetting because I was not fully explained that I needed an appointment and left by the loaner car receptionist to think that theres a possibility of not getting any car at all. This was upsetting to me because if I had known the previous day when I dropped off my car this process, I couldve made those arrangements to make an appointment. Reaching my service provider was not easy, as texts and voicemails were unanswered at reasonable times. Mike the manager was polite and professional, but fell short in making the situation better as he promised he would, to this day I havent even heard back from him if he really cared to follow up. I felt that Miguel & Mike both felt more importance on my filling out of a satisfaction survey than actually providing me a better service. My enterprise loaner car left my driveway with oil stains, was dirty & stained inside and out, but I cant complain about not having to pay for this loaner. I was disappointed about the lack of communication and parts of me felt discriminated against since that Saturday a gentleman prior to my arrival and a lady after my arrival both received BMW loaners despite there being none available.

The service advisor Damian I believe his name is he is very experienced and took time to explain to me details about my car. The best thing my car was finished on time I told him I need it by 2:00 because I had to go to work it was right on time. Good service.

Every time I come to this dealership for maintenance on my 2016 MINI, I’m surrounded by people with way more expensive cars/trucks, yet I never get treated differently. (I’ve experienced this other places…) Everyone is friendly, attentive and efficient.Today, Javier T went above and beyond to make sure I had all options priced at various levels to make sure I stayed in budget. I’m a single mom supporting a pre-med student and a high schooler on my single income, so this is crucial. Keeping my MINI road-ready for all of are spontaneous adventures is a top priority!Sergio, the shuttle driver is jovial and fun; for a free ride from a fun person. Hooray!I can honestly say I haven’t had a better experience elsewhere… Thank you!

Glad they could take my car for a same days oil change appointment; however, that was the only thing done right. I pull up to the service center and immediately asked if I had an email to confirm. I explained an email wasn’t given to which he asked me to check my email - what the heck? I asked him to look up my name and provided contact info. He left me in the bay and never returned. I got out of my car 10 minutes later and walked to the service manager who refused to acknowledge me standing there for more than 5 minutes as he spoke to a colleague. Another service rep said he’d help and noticed I had been sitting in the car and standing there for awhile. It’s about 20 minutes later now and I’ve got a flight to catch. Car was promised to be ready in 2 hours for an oil change and a surprising and expensive brake fluid flush. I called at just before 2 hours and told to return in 20 minutes and promptly did so. Service rep sent me to cashier and the invoice wasn’t right - discount coupon wasn’t applied correctly and so this was fixed. Cashier said she had already dispatched my car to be brought out because she knew I was running late for my flight. Vehicle wasn’t there. 15 minutes later, not there. I asked where my car was to the same person who initially disappeared on me. He looked at my paperwork and disappeared - again. Another 15 minutes later (total of 30+ minutes after paying), car still want there and service rep went to get car after another person said they put the wrong tag on my car and couldn’t find it. Again, I needed to get to the airport - my flight was 60 minutes away. Finally, car was brought out. I was told it was stuck in car wash. When they say they sanitize your car - it isn’t true. Everything was still very dirty and hadn’t even been vacuumed let alone sanitized. Plenty more details but I’ll save this for my friends who live in the area and regularly use this dealership. My recommendation is to avoid this place and go elsewhere. I could’ve gotten the same or better service at Jiffy Lube. I didn’t even have time to ask what happened as I barely made my flight and would’ve had plenty of time to spare. I’m not going back. Oh ya, video confirming services clearly shows the service was on my vehicle was finished an hour before my car was delivered to me. Totally not impressed!

And when i couldn’t pickup my car when it was done? They were very understanding to keep it in a safe place for when i could come-in and pick it up.That kind of service is exactly what i look for.. i will definitely comeback again

I really love LB BMW Sercice Center. The mechanics are very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Only negative thing to add is I received a text message saying my car would be ready and 3:30pm. I arrived after 4 and had to wait a half an hour to get the car.

I always use Manny as my Tech advisor. When I learned he was on daddy leave and would not be there, I was expecting a less than excellent experience. Javier was assigned to me and he is EXCELLENT too. Your bench is deep....... all went well and was flawless. I am fortunate a AAA+ BMW dealership is in Long Beach, I am a BMW driver and a live in Long beach. All good from my perspective. I have bought a Z4M (ordered) I tried hard to buy from you, you could not get an allocation, so I had to buy from BMW Irvine..... You will service it though.....

I came in for routine maintenance on my car. I received excellent service from the staff. My service advisor was able to get my car serviced in just over an hour. I totally appreciated that. As my day went on, I was glad that I didnt need a loaner car that I would have had to return. Great job!

When entering the service bay, I was Immediately greeted and pleasantly invited to discuss the maintenance that was to take place. In a moment, my mini was on its way to receive its oil change... so efficient! The tech assisting me then walked me over to the sales area where I could directly speak w the sales agent who at time of purchase had promised me a full detail including waxing, free re-fuel, and to provide special mini s car mats that had not made it back into my car at my initial purchase.10+ Stars to the Maintenance Tech who was pleasant and knowledgeable, and who took the extra time to walk me over to find my original Sales Rep. 10+ Stars to the individual who had originally done my contract work, as he is the one who eventually found some mats for my car. Minus 10 stars to the very charming, yet very unprofessional sales person fora) Not checking the detail work before returning my car to me. It was not waxed or detailed, merely washed and dried, and very poorly at that. My 15 year old son did a better job. There were adhesive marks on the window where they had removed only 1 of the requested 3 window stickers. The carpets and interior were barely touched, and the interior doors had scuff marks on them, as if someone had put their shoes on it to open it further.b. For placing thick, rubber, offroad 4x4 looking mats in my very cute, sporty, mini cooper instead of the special mini cooper s mats he had promised me when I purchased the car.VERY DISAPPOINTED IN HIS LACK OF FOLLOW THROUGH AND PROFESSIONALISM

This is a copy of the ACTUAL email I sent to BMW customer relationsHello Courtney,I received a survey from Long Beach BMW and BMW corporate asking about my experience with my service issue on my 2021 M 440i Convertible. Honestly, its laughable that either would have the nerve to ask how they did. Understanding that mechanical issues exist, one would think the issues would be addressed professionally and appropriately and we could just move on. That is not what happened in this case.With regard to the Long Beach BMW service department. I was assigned a service advisor named Joshua. In the entire month that my car was in service, this gentleman only actually answered his phone one time. I would call multiple times in some days attempting to reach him, he never returned any phone calls or messages, not one! Multiple times, I would call, he wouldnt answer, so I would go to the dealership. When I arrived at the dealership, every time I arrived at the dealership, he would be there, there would be no customers or very few and hes sitting doing nothing even though he still has never answered my call. On one occasion when he did answer a call, he promised to find out what was going on with my car and stated he would call me back. He never called back. So, I went to the dealership. Same thing, he was sitting doing nothing at all. He goes to the parts counter, comes back and tells me that my part is in California; but its gonna be here at the dealership in 10 days. How would any part take 10 days to arrive thats in the state its being delivered to? The service manager James then gets involved and explains that Josh mispoke and that the part is in Germany and will be released in 10 days, not delivered. He assures me I can follow up with him.The same thing happens with the service manager that happened with Josh. I would call, neither of them would answer the phone, rarely (I believe 2 times) James actually called back. When James called, he was calling mostly about my interaction with BMW corporate, According to him, a few weeks ago BMW stated they would reimburse half of a monthly payment for me due to loss of use of my vehicle while waiting for the part. Within that time frame, you also reached out to me to assure me that, by YESTERDAY someone would get back to me. My car sat in the dealership for 1 month. I consistently attempted to get updates that were never given. Deadlines and promised dates came and went. Josh didnt answer his phone and didnt return calls. James mentioned possible remedies that have never been delivered or revised. You told me you would get back to me yesterday, and nobody from either Long Beach BMW or BMW customer service has ever given or delivered a final remedy. Of course I was asked if I could take the time to respond to the customer service survey, Im not sure either of you are ready for the responses.Frustrated owner of a 75K vehicle that I cant get professional or courteous service on,Marcus Milton

After not being able to figure out why my backup camera was not working, I decided to make an appointment with Long Beach BMW to have the issue checked out. My service advisor was Javier whom was polite and professional. They also set me up with a nice loaner car which was great. After their initial diagnostic tests, they found the problem and Javier said my car might take 3-4 days to get fixed but ended up taking only 2 days. The only negative part of my experience (besides having to pay almost $2k for the parts and labor to fix the problem) was that my appointment was scheduled for 8am but they were not able to help me until about 9am which made me late for work. If not for that fact, I would give the service department 5 stars.

The tire service was fantastic: however, I was overcharged for the remaining issues. I had a faulty battery and after they gave me a discount, I paid $480. My BIG check engine light, they could not figure out and I left. Had problems with it on my trip to MO and was delayed on the trip, trying to get it looked at and had to stay an extra week because of it. Still not fixed!The services in the past have been wonderful except for the over fill of the oil.I will return to see if they will rectify this issue as I feel them TRY

I went In with a check engine light on. My car died while there and then got told it’s was just a battery issue. I didn’t Get told the cost of the battery until after the fact and cost over $500!!! Seriously?!?? Tbh are outrageous and could’ve gotten it for no more than $200 with AAA

No wait time once I pulled into the service queue. Greeted promptly and meet with service advisor Sovann who quickly diagnosed the car and identified the issues. Constant communication during the process and service was done promptly once go ahead was given. Upon picking up the car I was pleasantly surprised by the wash they gave it. I have to say that Michael Sturdges, Director, rose above and beyond to provide an excellent customer service, I really appreciated the fact the he was mindful of my time and my inconvenience after the wrong set of tires were installed. I will decline to say the service rep name since he/she lacked of sensitivity and was unwilling to help and provide the quality customer service we all customers deserve, after all it is not about the product being sold but the customer service provided, and that is the main reason why a customer come back to a business location.

The battery died in my 4 year old Mini and while AAA managed to revive her, I was told the service department at my local Long Beach dealership would have to perform the battery replacement. I was able to make an appointment for replacement the same day. Manuel met me when I drove into the bay and told me they would take care of my car that had just died once more. He certainly worked his magic! While I signed an estimate for the replacement battery, Manuel was able to have it replaced under warranty at no charge. At the same time, the service department was asked to complete a cosmetic repair on my gear shifter…. also done at no cost to me. While I waited for my Mini, Manuel came to inform me that an engine mount was torn and leaking. I received a hefty estimate and was asked to leave my Mini overnight. Upon my return the next day, Manuel met me at the cashier window to explain he had contacted BMW of North America, explained my Mini had low mileage, and BMW agreed to cover the cost of the engine mount replacement!! This was service above and beyond what I ever would have expected, and I am so very grateful! Besides being a teacher and sinking my first paycheck into classroom supplies, I am getting married soon, and the potential added expense of my Mini’s issues would have been a hardship. I am deeply appreciative of Manuel’s effort, initiative and kindness!! I would not hesitate to continue bringing my Mini into the service department at LB Mini and I would certainly consider buying another Mini/ BMW when the time comes. Thank you Manuel!!

My service Advisor was James Saunders and my experience with James was outstanding! He was knowledgeable, courteous, and worked efficiently. James helped me with my extended warranty and although the repairs were not approved from my warranty company, James went above and beyond to help. I was provided a 2021 BMW 330i which was great and now that I’ve driven my vehicle it rides amazing thanks to James and the technicians at Long Beach BMW, I’d highly recommend!

Long Beach BMW service center does not disappoint. I drive 95 miles round trip just to get my BMW serviced here. I have a BMW service center less than 5 miles but will drive for the rapport/ customer service/ loyalty at Long Beach.It originally began when my much loved BMW needed an emergency service (fuel pump gave out). I stalled out on the 405 freeway on a Saturday morning. I called two other BMW service departments in the area- as far as South Bay, Torrance BMW to help. Long Beach BMW was the ONLY center willing to help. I was greeted by James S. & Bertha with the support of Todd, they made sure I was taking care of and made sure I was in good hands. Since then, Ive traded in my much loved BMW to a newer much loved BMW @ Long Beach.I have had stellar service with James S. and his team ( B-Dub, Brian and Scott); they are responsive, professional, communicative and just all around fantastic! Thank you for always taking care of my BMW and me!!!

Although the workers were very friendly, they kept my car in for a week, which is not preferred (lol). I am currently a college student and I needed my car to drive to school and it was inconvenient to ask my housemates to drive me to school at 7AM. I felt like the prices were insanely high for basic maintenance, and having to pay high for declining service felt a little unreasonable. I had to go back twice because I also had to change my battery, and that only took a day which was good. Overall, the workers were sweet and reassuring, I just wished they didnt delay my finish date for so many days.

This dealership is very professional and very helpful.. Sovann was super nice and was able to get the parts I needed repaired in no time at all. They went even as far as cleaning the car inside and out as well as adding a few small plastic screw that hold parts of engine that was missing. She personally drove it to me when they were finished with a smile. They were wonderful! Highly recommend seeing Sovann if you go here!

I have been to different MINI/BMW dealerships, but I only go to Long Beach because of the excellent service they provide. Not only is everyone so welcoming and helpful, but they are fast and efficient. Sovann has been my go-to person for the past few years when my car is in need of service. Although I would be happy with any other member on the service team, I always go to Sovann because she is so wonderful!

I purchased a used i3 from Hemmit (sales) and Richard Houston (financing). Mike, the sales manager even came in to say hello before I left to ask me about my experience. Hemmit was very patient with all of our questions, and allowed us to test drive a car within minutes of meeting him. At any dealership, there will be lots of documents to cover and sign, but the Richard was very honest and walked us through the process showing us exactly what the fees were. Though Im less apt to buy luxury vehicles, Long Beach BMW is a great place to make a purchase. As with any car buying experience, be prepared for an extended visit (this is normal) to get through the paperwork. Id gladly go back and purchase another vehicle from this location. The staff made us feel right at home, and the honesty was fantastic. This is also where we bought our first 3 Series (when they were on Cherry) many years ago, and that car served us so well for many years. We now look forward to skipping trips to the gas station with our new i3!

There was no urgency, although expressed need for immediate service due to no loaner vehicles being available. Service Advisor lacked luster. When i called for a status update more than 6 hours after drop off, i was told they were running a diagnostic now a hour later I was told they were resetting the computer which would take another 2 hours. After reset my display color did not return to normal and now my brakes are squeaky. When i went to pick up my car they brought out the WRONG car the acted as if I nabbed the wrong key when in fact, i was given the key by the Service Advisor. Overall the service was barely mediocre and I experienced similar service when I was looking to purchase. Ultimately, I went to Beverly Hills.

I was able to get a same day appt. I showed up and was immediately helped. Josh was super friendly and professional. He was very detailed in his explanations and let me know everything that was going on. I had a very unique situation so he asked one of the senior staff for assistance.The entire process was extremely easy. I got a text to authorize the diagnostic. I went home and later in the day I received another text with a link showing me everything they found wrong, with pics and vids!! It also showed the cost and if I wanted to accept or decline each item. I signed it and they did the work! I got a text the next day saying my car was done, showed me everything they did and the total cost, paid on the link and went and picked up my car. The whole experience was AWESOME!!!! It sucked that I had to get my car fixed, but it was a great experience!!!

Stopped by for 1st service of my car. This is my 2nd experience with BMW brand and honestly customer care still miss some points for a luxury brand. Small things like scheduled service manager just not there and need to wait to another person to cover him. Service Center do not provide any transportation options to and from my house, about 5 miles in distance. Ok, I was able to schedule an Uber but gave me the feeling of a generalist brand service level.Service quality looks good (didnt noticed any issue) considering the car is pretty new.

Had my mini towed to the dealer because it had cut off on me. And the brake pedal wasn’t working when trying to start my car. The young lady called me after 2 days to tell me they couldn’t find out what was wrong with my car. She suggested taking a video next time it happens. That comment didn’t satisfy my service request. Maybe I should just buy another mini? But not at this location. They never even acknowledge me whenever I have walked around the lot. Im disappointed.

I initially went to santa monica BMW since its close to my job and was quoted 600+ for my front brake pads. My car is still under factory warranty and I also purchased extra 2 years on top of that so obviously I did not proceed. I went to long beach BMW and did not pay a dime for the front brakes and they also replaced my left rear tire that had a nail and only paid $50 deductible. Mind you santa monica BMW did not even do anything to my tire even though my car was there for 7 hours. I did not get any updates and had to go there myself because I couldnt get a hold of the service advisor through text or call. I forgot my service advisors name at the long beach BMW but it was a female and she was the best! She texted me with an update an hour after I dropped off my car. Im so glad i went here instead and will go here from now on!

NOT IMPRESSED AND WILL NOT RETURN!After arriving on time for a 09:30AM primarily to repair auto-brake failure warning, was finally met by svc advisor (Manny) FORTY-FIVE minutes later. Although I emphasized need fix the brake system before taking a walk in the neighborhood, when I returned two hours later to find a $1,000 routine periodic service has been completed, but the brakes had not been touched. Asked why, another svc advisor (Manny was at lunch), told me I had not authorized that service! Despite their having my cellphone number, they had not bothered to try to contact me. By that time, of course, I was told their mechanics were all fully committed so that my brakes could not be completed during that visit.Pretty miserable operational management and communication. I recommend that other BMW owners seek another shop, as will I.

Lost the key of my car, and they keep my car for 5 days duplicate it,plus, depend on who you talk with, you need to reprogram the car, or the key, or both, which makes the invoice to fluctuate between 400 and 700.
