There was a lot to choose from. This is a great place to go to for party’s and costumes. I’ve been back here several times and always find something for every event.

Party City is located in the Long Beach Towne Centre, on the side where the movie theater is located. The location was a bit discreet for such a huge store, but when I found it, it was obvious. You can see the store front driving around. They have designated parking spaces for Party City order pick up and offer curbside pickup.After browsing birthday balloons on their website, I decided to come to this location because they had most of the items I needed in stock for pick up. I came on a Monday around 3PM, picked out a couple balloons on display, paid for the items. not a lot of people, yet service was pretty slow.Party city is not the cheapest place to get balloons, but they sure have a huge selection to choose from compared to other places that sell balloons. They carry any and every thing party related, from themed supplies for all NFL, MLB, NBA, and NHL teams, and merchandise for over sixty universities and colleges to character themed party supplies such as Marvel, DC, Disney etc. They also carry an abundant amount of Halloween items from costumes to favors. I would definitely come back to buy supplies/decor for other occasions such as engagement party, bachelorette party, baby shower, etc. The one downside is the service is kind of slow,

I always come here because the customer service has been great every time. If there ever is a problem, they always rectify it with a smile and are glad to help in any way they can. I had a balloon delivery and one of the balloons did not play the music when you tapped the exterior, and I called to let them know and within the hour, they delivered a new working balloon. Cant say enough about the team on site that day, great customer service.

This place is the worst ever! Customer service was poor they did not acknowledge my bf and I at the balloon counter there was atleast 4 people there they saw us and kept talking about whatever until my bf spoke up about them completely ignoring us then they acknowledged us I will be emailing corporate.

I went here today because I needed about 7lbs of crinkle paper for 200 gift boxes. I ordered some online and majorly under estimated what I needed. I went to this party city in search of more crinkle paper. I asked if they sold the paper in bulk to a gal restocking the isles and was informed they didn’t but they had coupons online I could use to discount the small 2oz packs. When I got to the check out area 3 gals were helping one customer and I waited 10 mins before they could help me, after not even being able to help the one customer they were all working on. Once I got to the register the gal continued to work on another customers receipts without saying hi or looking at me (I want to point out she said “next please” so I didn’t come over uninvited). I explained my situation to the gal at the register and told her that I found about 15 sites with coupons but wasn’t sure what would work for an in-store purchase. The gal informed me (without looking up at me) it had to have a barcode she could scan, none of the sites I found had a barcode she could scan and the website for party city didn’t have one either. She continued to work on some scanning of receipts for other customers without looking at me even though she had called me over to help me check out. I asked her if she knew how I could get the coupon as I needed 7lbs of this paper and at 2.99 per 2oz bag the coupon for 20% off would be a material savings. She continued to not look at me and said she wasn’t sure. Needless to say I returned my own things to the isle and left as this girl could clearly not be bothered by me in this empty store. I drove to Michael’s which is less than 2 minutes away and purchased my crinkle paper there spending $150. I would have spent more had they had more stock but not many places have 7lbs in stock right now.The price was cheaper at full retail at Michael’sand the gal gave me a 25% off coupon I could use on all full priced items.In short I will be shopping at Michael’s vs party city for my gifting needs.

Had everything we needed. Ugh, then we got into line. Employees stocking shelves, answering phone for balloons and gathering items for online purchases. 1 checker. Even then she was tied up with a customer that wanted her opinion on everything. She went to the shelves at 4 times.

Solid little Korean barbecue restaurant. There are several different all you can eat meals that you can choose on their menu. The cheapest being $11.99 which includes some basic side dishes. Their service is good, but when it gets busy it may take a little longer to get what youre looking for. Overall, its a clean and simple restaurant that will most likely satisfy your craving for Korean BBQ.

I went to Party City to pick up a pre‐ordered balloon order. Their email instructions were to pull up to the outside curb pick up area and then to call the store. Someone would then meet you outside. I called the store and waited on hold for over 5 minutes in a no parking zone. There was no designated curb side pickup area. No one answered the phone. So I went into the store where I waited in line again for at least another 5 minutes finally to be told that no one is outside for deliveries and then she asked me if I called the store. I told her yes but was put on hold. She found my order and delivered it to me. No apologies. This kind of mediocre customer service in these days where so many stores are going out of their way to meet customers needs because of the stay-at-home order, was unfortunately not unlike this Party Citys usual customer service. It was as inadequate this time as it was before COVID 19. I only used them because there is no other choice.

Shouldnt offer curbside pickup. Tried it twice at this location and both times after a 15 minute wait... No one answering the phone...we ended up going inside to pickup

What the point of having a curbside pick up. When you have to wait for 20 min and having to go inside to ask for you order in a middle of a pandemic

Great Selection but expensive when compared to amazon.. on the other hand, its One stop shop for everything that you need and if you need it immediately.

Party city is always good for parties.. The best for parties if you can afford party city.. Just not the best for Halloween.. Which is the experience im writing about.. I only go to party city for Halloween as a back up.. And seriously hate when staff says something is somewhere and its no where to be found.. Like you know you didnt carry chains dude..

I skated here cuz my mom sent me to go get decorations for my cousins quinceñera it’s like the 5th one I’ve gone to this week lol and I couldn’t find what I was looking for, and when all hope seemed lost this young guy saves the day and directs me to the decorations I wanted I believe his name was Kevin, he made me feel like a part of the party city family!

I waited too long to order my sons birthday party decorations. I came in and got literally all of the Sesame Street items I needed. I even got the balloons! I am so relieved and feel like they saved me from my procrastinating. Will totally be back again

Randy, a sales associate, gave us excellent customer service. We were shopping for my daughters 16th birthday party supplies and he helped us find supplies and even packed our bags in a cart that we could take out to the car because we had a lot of bags.

One cashier on a Saturday at 2 in the afternoon. Long wait in line. This location is poorly managed. I wont go back.. Too bad cuz they really have cute stuff.

Great Deal, but I will add scanners to check price on items or staff carry a price scanner. I had to make line to have a price check instead I Could used that time to shop around. I ask to different employees and none of them had a price scanner.

They tried hard to accommodate meBut the item was stated as in store online, I called and checked with the store. Got there and they had no idea what I was talking about. Really helped plan my mothers funeral the next day. ^sarcasm

They have a large toy section. Thats cool. Many things for parties, graduations, BBQs, anything. They also got individual chocolates for like 10 cents a piece. Lots of stuff. Pretty cool, and much bigger than the old location in the middle of the parking lot.

Party City locations are always great. The only issue I have is the customers that use the Handicap parking as a quick parking spot to run into the store for a quick purchase.

My family bought a Moana balloon bouquet & once we got home the largest balloon was deflated. then we figured out that there was a hole in it. I went into the store the next day, completely upset & dissatisfied. I spoke with Randy & Evan (I think) & got the whole we cant do anything without a receipt. but they were still really nice & totally willing to go out of their way to help me in any way they could. long story short, I walked out of the store in a better mood than when I walked in. really good balloon section though, they were able to give me a luau balloon instead.

No fault of there own it was Halloween

I placed a balloon order for my baby shower and was told they would be ready by 12:30pm the day of my event. Then I got a call at 10:30am the day of my event saying they were out of helium and would not be able to fill my order! I ended up having to scramble at the last minute to find balloons because they gave me practically no notice! I was at least given a refund on my order but was furious at the late notice and lack of professionalism. They had to have known at least the day before that they wouldnt be able to fill peoples orders but waited till the last minute to notify everyone. Ridiculous! 😠

The store was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. We went in there to look for Bon Voyage or Good Bye decorations for a co-worker of my husbands, who was moving to Houston with her family to work in another office of thier company. Could not find a thing. So we improvised and got stuff for a cowboy theme going away party since they are going to Texas. Get on the ball Party City. All in all i will shop there again.

Wide selection with many different choices. The aisles are clear and organized. The prices are slightly higher than discount stores and online.

This is store that has just about everything you need for your party. It is however, a small store compare to alins store in carson and woodruff avenue in long beach.Location is great and parking is easy to find.

Wasted my time. I asked the balloon guy what to do if I needed balloons. He said wait in line. I waited 10+ minutes for the cashier to help 2 people. When we got to the front, cashier calls balloon guy and he says theyre out of helium. Garbage!
