This place is a party supply dream with the added perk of also being a fabric store. This is not a big box store but you’ll find plenty of affordable supplies for all sorts of parties. I personally come for the selection of fabric and ribbons. Plenty of Garment fabrics, cottons, knits, metallic, velvet, some upholstery fabric. If you’re used to shopping in the fashion district in LA you won’t find it much different.

The fabric barn is a great craft supply store for just about every craft! The ladys who work there have always been super friendly, helpful and kind. I love,love coming her etc stock up on ribbon. Their prices are great!

Don’t come If you want yarn just go to hobby lobby. I’ve tried all the yarn places in LB. They have great colors the first time you come but don’t get invested because they most likely won’t have them but instead 5 shades of green but no green. It’s happened too many times with too many colors.This is a great place for party supplies in bulk and art supplies. They have a small selection on fabric in the back so don’t expect it to be just a fabric store.

This place is a hidden gem! Paradise for crafters, creative minds, DIY projects, party favors & gifting supply, decoration & dress makers, and if you want to build,,sew, knit or mend an outfit or if just need to get some inspirational ideas by cruising through their massive inventory- its like a Home Depot of fabrics.I live around the corner from The Fabric Barn. I see it everyday but never ventured into the store. I started another DIY project of re-uphostery of the seats of my dining table chairs. I googled the project, youtubed the how to and ran in circles trying to source the material ie.: fabric cover, cotton fabric mesh, fabric lining net, the stuff I need to replace the old worn seats. I thought the material could be easily obtained at HDepit or Wmart and stores of that sort-NOT. So it seemed like anything remotely had to ordered online but i need to see it, touch & feel and explore options. I needed a real store thats in Long Beach and not the high deserts or downtown LA. Then Eureka, I found the Fabric Barn and they have everything from building a teddy bear to making a bed spread and for me-uoholstery stuff. They even have neat kits like to build your own wreath. Well I got what I need. This is a small business that you can confidently support by patronizing.

Good price on Crafts, Yarn, and Fabric. Wish they bring some more Thread in number 10 size. They got great Customer Service and know their products.

They had a lot of supplies. And some staff was able to speak Spanish. Unfortunately they did not have the specific item I was looking for. I would like to come back when they are in stock or I have a need for other supplies. Staff was also friendly.

A fun variety of items, great prices, all the basic supplies you need for sewing, crafts, and parties. A little taste of the DTLA garment district but way less chaotic. Super kind and helpful staff. I choose this spot over all the big box craft shops every time. I honestly love to just walk around and look at everything they have each time I visit because they stock supplies that spark so much creativity.

This has changed a great deal over the years. It used to be filled with unique and unusual ribbons and trims with a fairly small selection of different fabrics. Now it has a very small selection of basic ribbon and trims and an even tinier fabric selection, many of which seem overpriced for the quality. If you are looking for poly cotton prints that you might find on 9th St, you can find them here. No quilting cotton or fine fabrics. What they do have is lots of party supplies and craft items at pretty reasonable prices. Dont shop here thinking you are going into a fabric store. Its a party supply store with some sewing supplies.Everyone is very nice but not particularly knowledge about sewing.

I love this store and have shopped here on and off for years. Since Ive been making masks. I thought Fabric Barn. Hadnt been in about 8 years. Was surprised not as much fabric as prior years. Its in the back of the store on bolts. But great prints and just what I was looking for. BEST PRICE in town for 1/4 elastic. Ive already gone thru 200 yards and need to get more. If you need craft supplies or RIBBON of any kind this is the place, Sewing supplies, craft supplies and party supplies. Yep this is the place. LOVE IT!

Really dont know why fabric Barn still calls itself fabric Barn since they dont sell much fabric. But they do have wonderful things for weddings, parties and arts and crafts at a really decent rate. They sell things in bulk as well as individually. Most of the time Im truly happy to be there. Parking sometimes can be a bit of a challenge but its worth it.

I didnt know I was going to find what I needed and I did. Went to two different fabric shops before that same day asking for White Vinyl material for a project and, boom. This is a crafts store so prepare. You can arrange your birthday plans and create your own baskets and more.

This is a hidden gem. Its a fabric, arts and crafts store with new items and classic items that are hard to find. Its really well organized, clean, with a friendly staff. They carry both individual and bulk items. Small essential party supply section, as well as a seasonal section. Keep in mind its a small business, they do take credit cards, ideally help them out and pay with cash. FYI No refund or exchanges. All sales are final. Dont be that customer.

Anytime I host an event or want to create a project, I go here first. If they dont have what Im looking for...then Ill go elsewhere. Prices used to be much lower (only reason I didnt give a 5 star rating) but its easy to shop here and the staff is super sweet and helpful. Best thing to purchase here are balloon bouquets. This is my go to place for anything and everything party related. From balloon bouquets to artificial flowers the Fabric Barn has always had what I need. The staff are helpful courteous and the price of most items is very reasonable. In fact years ago my daughter purchased her wedding gown from Fabric Barn and it was lovely. I highly recommend Fabric Barn.

A fun place for arts and crafts and party supplies with a great variety including theme aisles. Affordable and inspires creativity. Contrary to its name however there is not much in the way of fabrics other then felt and some Organza I think.

I really like buying fabric here. It is very inexpensive. They do change their selection for prints a lot but thats not a problem for me since I love fabric anyway. The staff is helpful. The place is pretty organized. Their ribbon selection is very wide. They have tons of choices and their prices ROCK! Satisfactory overall.

Good store, I have been coming here for years. They have a little of everything that you might need for your events party favors, whether it be from a weddings to seasonal. If you have tried the major craft stores then you defenitely need to try this store. They might just have what you need.

Love the Fabric Barn! Not too much fabric but everything you need for a party/shower/baptism etc. Best prices, better than Hobby Lobby, Michaels. I go here to buy ribbon and tule mainly for gift wrapping. I also get little embellishments for gifts here as well. Its on a busy street and parking can be a challenge but worth it. I used to go to wholesale gift tradeshows and FB was still cheaper than vendors selling wholesale.

I honestly have NO idea how this is rated over 1 star. First of all its poorly laid out. There are multiple buildings next to each other that go under the Fabric Barn name. After walking into a wrong store I finally found the fabric portion. Walking into it I immediately got the chills - not in a good way either. Its dimly lit with multiple lights burnt out throughout the building. SO CREEPY. All of the fabric that they sell here is cheap organza and polyester. For a 4+ star fabric store I expected there to be good quality, 4 star fabric there. Its a shame I drove out of my way to stop by here to be so disappointed. Save yourself the disappoint and time and just go to a Joanns or Hobby Lobby.
