The guy in the front was VERY rude and impersonable. The only reason Im giving 3 stars is because thw guy who actually did the peircing was awesome, insightful, helpful, and kind. Thank you Mr. Peircing guy!!!

I mean...I could have saved $100 and bought a piercing gun from Amazon for $12... instead I paid $100 for piercing my ears with super expensive $5 earrings. Get a biiig sign and put prices on it ..EDIT: Its not a big deal. Just would be nice to know how much Im paying before I have to pay. Again, I would have chosen Amazon because $60 is wild for ear holes.

I had an appointment with Jay to get my dermal anchors removed and it was the best experience I could have hoped for! He was super professional, easy to talk to, and walked me through every part of the process to put me at ease. My fiance and I went in for tattoos this evening and the tattoo artist Jesse was awesome! He made us feel included in the whole process and transformed our idea into a beautiful tattoo. I would 100% recommend him. He was also a great conversationalist and we genuinely enjoyed talking to him!

Gotten a lot done here over the years. Gotta say, walking in to a man with a blank stare & such blatant disregard for being any sort of helpful is…. Underwhelming at best. I can understand if you’re tired or overworked, but it really seems like he hates his job or doesn’t want to help me as a customer. Can’t tell.

They messed up my friends septum’s piecing by putting it too high. They also said she couldn’t have a ring and only horse shoe, even though the other place we went to get it removed said she could have had a ring. They where nice and mine came out ok but at least say you were wrong and give the money back.

The staff was super helpful and took great care to sanitize the skin and the equipment used. Cant avoid pain completely with this kind of thing, but it was done and over with really quickly! Lobes barely hurt at all. Theyre taking walk ins now, but appointments are recommended to avoid long waits

I have social anxiety and i struggle with human interaction, especially 18+. the lady working front was super kind to me and led me through everything despite me having no idea what i was doing and showing up 45 minutes before close. jay slipped me in last minute and was extremely professional and led me through the whole process, which only took around 10 minutes for my septum. interactions like this gave me more confidence to be able to do things by myself as i’ve always struggled with this. 10/10 service and incredible people working there :)

I was able to make an appointment with Tribal Rites Longmont location that day. I ended up getting my nipples pierced and my piercer, Jay, was super welcoming, friendly, professional and made it a relatively painless experience. The shop was clean and the staff was kind. Absolutely recommend.

I went last week to get my nipples pierced by Jay, he was incredibly professional and accommodating. This was truly the best piercing experience Ive ever had, so much easier than when I had my nipples pierced the last time. I came in last week to get help putting my septum back in and to get my nipples pierced and Mo was so awesome! She made me feel totally comfortable and like we had been friends forever and walked through the whole experience with me. You can tell she really cares about her clients. Guy who tattooed me only drew one option for my tattoo, acted bothered the whole time and didnt even remember what I wanted. I paid in advance for him to design my tattoo, and instead he did ONE drawing on the spot at the appointment. Super rude, if youre a girl they give off a why are you here vibe.

I got my Daith piercing a few hours ago and had a fantastic experience. I didnt catch the name of the lady behind the counter but she and Jay were both very friendly and professional. They explained my options for available jewelry, and it was a very short wait before I was called back. Jay explained everything he was doing as he was doing it so there were no surprises, and the piercing itself was relatively painless. I had to trust his judgment for the placement since I couldnt see the initial marks, but its absolutely perfect and he did a great job - it looks like it was meant to be there! I honestly could not be more thrilled with it and will definitely return for future piercings.People who have left poor reviews for this shop seem to be, for the most part, people who didnt follow directions, people who didnt do proper research, or people who dont want to pay for services rendered. Ignore the naysayers, if you want a piercing in Longmont Tribal Rites is the place to go!

Take your money to the one in Fort collins its owned by better people. I brought an ID in for my son to the Longmont tribal rites branche they didnt like the one I brought so they turned me away and then kept my money. They are lying thieves. They offered to give it to me on a gift card and I only agreed to get it that way thinking I could use it in Fort collins but he said I couldnt do that it had to be used at one of his locations he doesnt deserve my money after lying so I asked for a refund and he wouldnt give me one even though they turned me away. Dont go to any owned by Mike hell steal your money and then blame you for it.

I love this place and I think they have the best jewelry selection on the front range. I’ve been into this location before and had a great experience with everyone that works there. Unfortunately, today (11/15) there were two employees working in the shop. The woman at the front desk was super great and helpful. However, the other gentleman working was unnecessarily jumping in with a negative confrontational attitude regarding the jewelry we were interested in purchasing. Ultimately, his overbearing attitude led us to leave and not purchase from this place I’ve loved for years. Bummed about this experience

Staff is great! I strongly recommend this place. Ive been to a couple of different shops over the past couple of years and I will definitely be making this my #1. I came in looking for some help with my ear piercings because they were extremely irritated, Jay was super friendly and honest which is very important in a piercer. I have 13 ear piercings and all but three were flared up and he took the time to talk to me and set up a plan to see if there was any way I could keep them since I was worried I would have to take them all out. Its been a couple of weeks since I went in and my ears are doing so much better. All of them would bleed and had keloids, my oldest is 4 years old and I have been trying to heal them ever since. Ive tried everything and been to various piercers, and I am finally seeing results. 10/10 recommend this shop, Jay is great and friendly, im sure everyone else is too.

I was visiting CO for the first time and I went to the Longmont location as a walk-in dead set on an inner lip tattoo. Mason was my artist and he had never done one before but was very much up for the challenge! He was so nice and easy to talk to. It was an extremely clean environment and I was very comfortable. Needless to say, he killed it. It came out SO good and i was in love. Go to Mason!!

I normally dont write reviews, but here we go: I went to change out my nose piercing yesterday. I picked out what I liked, the very aloof desk boy broke the gold ball I had chosen. So he asked if I would like the gold disk, I said that was fine (it was still cute enough). Instillation went okay, and I was on my way. Next morning I noticed the disk was missing luckily I had my old stud in my bag and put it back in. It cant be that hard to put a nose ring in. I would not recommend them, I would rather drive to Fort Collins and go to the real Tribal Rites.

I went in to get a septum piercing tonight.. The shop was very clean and I felt very comfortable. The piercer (I don’t remember his name) explained the healing process, how to clean it, and the piercing process. The piercing went super fast and was basically painless. I will definitely be going back!

Not impressed. The ladys in my family took a day to get my cousins ears pierced (shes 8 almost 9) we had been told it opens at 12 on Sunday but it opens at 1. We walk in and the lady who was helping us was not friendly and looked stoned out of her mind. Then she said she needed to see some kind of ID for my cousin who is 8, My cousin is homeschooled and doesnt have one. My cousins mom could have brought her birth certificate if someone would have told her when she called. Again, Not impressed. So morel of the story. We have an 8 year old with a broken heart. We Do not plan on coming back.After my cousin and Mike (the owner) emailed back and forth everything got figured out and we came back today got my cousins ears pierced. J did an amazing job. Christian has done multiple tattoos on me now and i am very impressed by the work completed. He is very professional about the entire process and has a great attitude always! He took the time to explain carefully about the things that come with having very visible tattoos that i wanted on my knuckles and hand. After being tattooed by multiple places and people i have finally found my go to spot and artist. I love coming in for appointments because everyone on the staff is very kind and nicely mannered. From the front counter to the artists this is an A1 shop. Would highly recommend!

I got a helix piercing done here yesterday by Xavier (went cause of his reviews); both him and Jasmin were professional. I was very nervous about getting it done, but I’m starting to enjoy it. My ear was red for only about an hour after getting it done, and Tribal Rites provides a helpful after-care pamphlet. Overall nice experience. This was my first tattoo and I immediately felt at ease with the staff. They were friendly and made the atmosphere very comfortable; it felt just like family! I showed Christian a picture of the tattoo that I wanted and he immediately sketched the exact thing! I got the tattoo on my foot and the lines are clean and crisp, the lady there even helped calm me down before hand. I would recommend anyone looking for a tattoo to go in and look at the artwork, itll speak for itself!

I have been tattooed by several artist, David is by far the best I have ever had. David is creative, caring, and put everything he has into his work! I Continuously get compliments on all the tattoos hes done. I have referred almost all family members to him and all are just as happy with his work as I am. There was a snow storm and my friend was in town from Georgia. I called ahead to find out if they could pierce my friend’s ears. They said yes as long as we arrived by 7:30, the piercer said. We arrived at 7:29 and my friend started filling out the paperwork and as she was signing her name at the end, the lady at the front said the piercer wasn’t going to do it anymore. No explanation. Just no. I will never support Tribal Rites again. Very unprofessional and I will share this experience.

Great people and wonderful service. The wife thought she needed two ear piercings but found that her old piercings were still open. Just a couple of studs took care of things. Very honest, they could of done the piercing for a lot more. Highly recommend!

Tribal Rites in general has always been an awesome experience. Tonight was probably my 30th time getting tattooed by Christian. He has done all my tattoos over the past 10 years. He is a dedicated artist and its been an honor watching him grow tremendously in his passion for tattooing. Its always a memory and great experience getting tattooed. Tribal Rites in Longmont is the only shop I will go too. The Staff there is WONDERFUL! Nate has done all of my artwork and does a fabulous job! I would give the piercer 5 stars because his service was great. He answered our questions and it was a good experience. The problem was the guy who we talked to in the beginning. He was VERY rude and judgmental towards my husband and I. He asked for my husbands ID like questioning if he had one. And we waited for a good 15 minutes to get taken care of. People walked in and his attention to them was opposite to ours and that made us feel unwanted. We were going to walk out but in that the piercer called us back.

David Ronin took on a memorial tattoo for me as a walk-in customer. He looked at a picture and sketched up a design and was tattooing me within the hour. He did an excellent job, and seemed to really understand the importance of the tat to me, and my need to have one immediately, given Id just talked to the Denver homicide detectives about my murdered best friend hours prior to walking in. Im commissioning him for the rest of my tattoo work (full sleeves and huge leg pieces). He sold me on Tribal Rites

I got my nose pierced by Xavier who was a very cool dude! also everyone there was pretty informative, my mom came in with a few questions and there wasnt any confusion, I think actually visiting and talking to everyone actually made her feel more comfortable, now she is considering a tattoo she might want! also the place was incredibly clean and the process was very fast!

Got a tattoo done by Horace, hes quite the character. The tattoo was simple, probably a bore to do for a tattoo artist, but Horace did an excellent job. It turned out better than I anticipated thanks to his skill. The rest of the staff were absolutely lovely, very talkative and friendly.

A couple weeks ago my dermal was rejecting really bad and I went in to see the dermal specialist, Liz. She was amazing and quickly and painlessly took out my dermal and helped me get rid of that problem. My apologies, I forget her name, but the girl at the front desk was super helpful as well in helping me find jewelry and I actually ended up getting a beautiful opal belly ring with her help. I will totally be coming back when I want a new dermal or jewelry! They were Amazing!Side note: sorry ladies it took so long to follow up :)

Every time I come into the store I feel very welcome. The piercers are very friendly and are happy to answer any questions I ever have. They explain and make sure your confident in taking care of your piercing and what to look for (swelling and such). I got my snug done about a week ago. He did an amazing job. I am always very happy and excited every time I leave the shop. Will always come back!!

I got three piercings there, one is a surface piercing. Im going to get one more from them tonight! They have a guy who works there (Chris) who is pretty cool and does the piercings. I had a good time, the lady at the front is kinda grumpy and pregnant, but dont let that turn u away!!! Its an awesome place to get stabbed and implanted.

I was very nervous about getting my nose pierced for the first time. Although the piercer was nice, calm, and clean I ended up not liking where it was pierced. When I called days later to see what could be done to fix it they said its my too bad. I would have to take it out, wait for it to heal and get it re-pierced by paying all over again!!! I paid $75 initially!!! But since this is my face (and not an ear I can easily cover up) I will be taking my business elsewhere for my second nose piercing. I am extremely disappointed in their aftercare for customers. I will never be returning.

Me and my mom wanted to get cute matching mother-daughter tattoos, which were very simple (took us 20 minutes to get it done at another shop). We went over there, granted we were walk-ins, but we were told it would be a two hour wait for the tattoo artist we wanted. So we go across the street and eat and wait the time we were told to go back. We go back and both of that artists that were there had “left the shop for the day” and “there wouldn’t be any other artists until the next day.” Very unresponsible and uncommunicative and we will not be going back.

David is an amazing tattoo artist. I am a repeat customer and Ill continue to let him perform his amazing art on my skin. The shop environment is comfortable and warm.

She helped me choose my size and style, and she also helped me update some of my jewelry for both my eyebrow and my ear. Lauren is patient, helpful, and super friendly just like everyone who has helped me at Tribal Rites - I really like that there are no pretentious attitudes at the shop. I got my double helix piercing done by Kevin. He knew what he was doing and made the experience enjoyable and a LOT better than I thought it would be. My piercing was fairly painless and it was very quick. The place was clean and everyone was very helpful.

Got my second tattoo done here. Not only did the atmosphere in the studio feel great, Jesse did an amazing job on keeping me at ease during the process of tattooing on my ribcage. If it was not for the fact that Ill be leaving longmont soon, I would definitely come back to tribal rites tattoo.

I would highly reccomend if you are looking for any sort of tattoo work in the Longmont or colorado area hit up tribal rights and ask for Mason Alexander this guy made my first tattoo experience an absolute blast I look forward to going back for more of his work the lettering he did for my cousins tattoo was crazy cool and Im just trying to decide what to get from them next. The staff are highly knowledgeable and qualified the only sad thing was having to leave the store and wait to go to back for more! My yin yang on my arm came out abousolutly solid all thanks to Mason this guy deserves a raise or at least some recognition for all his hard work he really knows how to treat customers and make it a very memorable time. 10/10 would definitely go again very affordable.

Xavier pierced my 7yo’s ears today, and he was fantastic. His calm demeanor helped put her at ease, and he explained the procedure in steps she understood. While he worked, they talked about school and Legos, and just like that, it was done! He made the process more comfortable and relaxed than I could have hoped. And he must’ve been super gentle with the actual piercing - she never yelped or twitched. Truly and excellent experience.
