First time here and they have a great shop with a nice and cozy tap room. I tried their hop burst new England style IPA. It was good. The service was friendly and knowledgable. I really like their guest tap list as they have very good breweries such as weldwerks and Grimm brothers. Check them out on untapped app. I recommend stopping by.
Super nice folks and a cool little taproom in the back. They have some great guest taps and have some of their own brews. I cant speak to the selection of brewing supplies and ingredients (though it looks quite impressive), but I would recommend stopping in to try a couple brews. They offer flights so you can try a few different beers.
Great, knowledge service. Everyone here is passionate about beer, and it shows in how they interact with everyone. The selection in grains and hops is very nice. You can also enjoy a pint while here too, and they have fun events! This is definitely going to be our go-to place for all things home brewing.
Fantastic shop. The guys are super knowledgeable and just love to nerd out about beer. I knew next to nothing, started coming in to check things out and they took ample time to educate and explain. Super friendly! I stop in every weekend or so just to grab a beer in their taproom or look at equipment. Brewed my 2nd extract batch recently and Bill and David both were invested in helping me formulate my recipe. Can’t say enough good things.
Best home brew store Ive ever found. Great beverages on tap and everything you could ever need. Love the employees too.
Excellent selection of ingredients and equipment for all types of beer and wine making. Staff is always helpful and knowledgeable, AND you can have a beer in the Tap room after you shop. How can you beat that...
Great beer supplies. Wonderful people to help. Hey, get a taste while you decide what to make next
Awesome place with great beer! Just did the Girl Scout/ beer pairings and was impressed how good cookies and beer can be. The Somoas and Elevenses beer was the best. The the ESB really brought out the chocolate and coconut flavors of the cookie. I also tried the Rye Porter and was very impressed with the chocolate spicy flavor!
I’ve been to Brewmented twice now. It is well organized, and fairly priced. I am foing to be spending a lot of my time and money there. The staff has been very nice. It’s my new favorite brew store.
Great customer service and great selection. I was flustered managing a puppy and these folks took great care of me. Very considerate
Glad to have a big selection homebrew supply house in town. I love Bald Brewer and hope they stick with it but for a wider range of choices and some tasty beverages, Brewmented is the spot.
Very disappointed. In full disclosure, I didnt make a purchase here. I walked out instead. I am not a pro-brewer, so I use extract and specialty grains. When I discovered they didnt offer bulk malt, but only the canned Briess malt, in tiny containers, costing a mint, I wasnt impressed. Why not offer amateurs the option to buy just enough for their recipe? Instead they have a giant, over-compensating grain room. With the floor space available in there, they could have another homebrew store. Also, the prices for the little things are ridiculous. For the price of a corny keg lid, I could get an entire corny keg delivered to my front door.Ill give them 2 stars for at least trying to contribute to a good hobby.
Walked in there at 5 oclock today and I waited at the line to get a beer for my friend and myself and they just ignored me. Young guy was busy putting together beer cans and the blonde waitress wouldnt even agnology my presence. I took my business to left and and was quite happy. Lost my business!!
Yes, goods selection and helpful. Problem: Buying several bulk grains in flimsy paper bags lead to bags breaking and I have brown malt mixed with honey malt. They were not intended to be in the same recipe. Do not come to buy bulk grains without your own containers.
The tap room and especially the ESB was awesome. Appreciated that Bill spent time with me walking through his business too - looking forward to coming back!
Love the idea of having a taproom in the store and Skeye next door. Prices are typical. Selection and service are just okay. Not sure what would bring me back, unless Bald Brewer is out of something.
Cool place. Has everything you need to brew, plus some on tap. Brewing demonstration was fun and informative.
Freshest barley and hops around, great beer on tap and everything a home brewer could ever need!
Favorite taphouse in Longmont. They have up to 14 rotating taps. Half are brewmented brewed beers. The other half are seasonal beers from other breweries around the state. Always fresh. Dog Friendly! People friendly! $1 off Sunday and Mondays
Well-stocked and knowledgeable folks. Really nice setup for classes and events as well, not something one sees often in an LHBS.
Stopped in to poke around and was greeted by friendly staff and served some excellent beers. We are not from the area but will definitely be stopping back any time were back in town.
Good place, friendly people, always good to talk with folks who like to make beer and drink beer.
Great people! Excellent beer. Very knowledgeable.
I think I come here about every weekend-- what keeps me coming back?- Quality ingredients (a clean grain room to die for, fresh local honey and adjuncts, most of the kegging pieces I need, and at mostly reasonable prices)- Good beer (the beer they have on taps is always being cycled through and is delicious! I dont think Ive had a bad thing here.)- Great people (Bill, one of the co-owners, is always around and great fun to talk to-- Kitty is a super knowledgable GM/Brewmaster. The rest of the crew is pretty great to chat with as well, and super friendly. I took a friend of mine here for their first trip to a brew store and they walked away thinking that it was so approachable/cool.)Brewmented has my business, for sure!
Had a very bizarre experience at the bar here a little over a month ago; thank goodness I had a ValPak coupon so one of my beers was free, but it would have been ideal if they comped my other beer too. There was an older man behind the bar who introduced himself as the owner of the place, I thought that was neat to be served by the owner, but it quickly became apparent that he had no clue what he was doing. I ordered an English Mild beer and the pour was short, meaning it didn’t make it all the way to the rim of the glass and the beer had a lot of head on the pour too. Not only was my pour short, but the glass he served the beer in was cracked and had a chip in the rim. I couldn’t believe how oblivious he was to the chip and the crack on the glass, I could have cut my lip open on the glass... Not exactly an ideal experience for a first time visitor to this establishment. Especially when I have dozens of other places to choose from to go get a beer. I made him aware of the chip and crack and he started making a lot of incoherent noises at me and never actually apologized for serving me from a chipped and cracked glass. He took the glass away from me and poured me another beer, then went and sat down at his laptop, and ignored me the entire time. I was the only customer at the bar, and I didn’t understand why he didn’t want to talk with a new customer. If someone who is alone sits at the bar, they want to chat with the bartender. Instead, he talked to some woman with long brown hair seated at the bar about sales strategies and marketing. I thought this was a very strange and inappropriate conversation to have at a bar with a customer sitting 10 feet away from them; these conversations should happen before or after hours or behind closed doors. I don’t want to hear your plans on how to make money off of me! I would have left but my coupon was a buy one get one free pint, so I reluctantly ordered a second beer. I gave him my coupon and asked to cash out and he asked me what I had. This was the first time any bartender has asked me what I had ordered! Aren’t they supposed to keep track of that!? Isnt that a typical duty of a bartender?! I mean they have an iPad to ring you up so doesn’t that mean you have a way to track what people are ordering? I can’t even imagine how much money this man has probably lost because he doesn’t keep track of what people are cosuming. It also seems like a sure way to over-serve customers if some other employee was to get a customer a beer! Then, he rang me up for both beers, gave me my total and I had to remind him that I had literally just handed him a coupon less than a minute ago for a buy one get one free promo. He gave me my new total, took my cash, then didn’t give me my change back. I had to awkwardly ask him for my change. Again, no apology for the sloppy service. I literally never leave reviews but this was just too weird to brush off. Get it together! Serving beer to one person isn’t that hard! I can’t even fathom what would happen if there were 2 people he had to serve!
Very knowledgeable...had a great Rye IPA while there. They were very helpful!!
Great placement moo friendly people if they dont have what you want they will get it for you.
Brewmented sold me a fermentation container that prevented a serious explosion. Thank you so much, Ive been impressed by my experience.
Friendly, great place to sample & share time with friends!
Good guest beers and brewing supplies
Great brew shop and tap room
Staff was GREAT! Very friendly!
