Went in to find a screw I needed. The manager approached me..he proceeded to berate me and belittle me and my wife. Took a minute to figure out that he completely hated my existence in the store. I decided to forget it and went to Home Depot instead. His name was Bob Lee. Treated us like we werent even human. Will never go back.

We visited more than a dozen design and show rooms looking for cabinetry during our home remodel. Rita and Susanne at Budget Home Supply were far and away the best to work with in terms of price and communication. We purchased kitchen and bathroom Diamond Cabinets (at the lowest price we were offered anywhere) and could not be happier with the outcome. We enjoyed the process so much, we still drive to Longmont from Denver for our other home supply needs!

I love Budget home supply. In general theyre more like a hardware store depending on what kind of part you need. I have been using them for pressure-treated and deck material. They are the best in the northern Colorado area. If youre building a deck or porch or pergola. Go to budget.

BEWARE! Special Orders = No Returns. Very difficult process for exchanges, if allowed. Not recommended for contractors/builders. Very difficult to work with if you are not buying items off shelf. No budget prices.

Very nice store for lots of years! Their kitchen/bath area including tile is likely the best in the city! We were treated great by Valerie in my wifes many trips to figure out our tile and everything was seamless to the pick up. Definitely give them a shot as they are NOT a big box store. This is a large store, but locally owned and well managed. We highly recommend it!

I like Budget a lot. The quality of their Lumber is better than the big box stores and they do have a wider range of construction esoterica then the big boxes stock. Their contractor sales department is knowledgeable.

I got boned by Home depot and they didnt get the cabinet supports I needed in time for my counter install and told me the day I needed them. I called Budget and Valerie answered in one ring and says we dont have any in stock but let me find them for you she then spent 2 hours talking to venders and found a store in Denver with the exact thing I needed. I had it 2 hrs later, if they go this far for someone who isnt even a customer I cant wait to be one.

They are a tad pricey but that is to be expected with a smaller, local establishment that sells a superior product. Fantastic customer service.

The budget home Supply is a great place. We were doing a deck project and Virginia Stees at Budget home has helped us choose the right deck board and even helped us with our design. The major helped was calculating the number of decks and material for us and shipped out the right material. The Budget home was very quick to replace some defective deck boards. We didnt have to worry about anything, which doesnt happen big chain stores. Virginia also managed some of the last minutes changes in our deck design. I do not recommend this supplier if you are a General Contractor. This place has horrible customer service. Their return policies are horrible as well. Do yourself a favor and do business with either Boulder Lumber, County Line Lumber out of Erie, Stockyards out of Denver or any other professional supplier. There is no reason to do business with Budget Home if you are looking to buy in bulk.

Arlo, Brandon, Gary, and Nathan were very helpful. Took time to explain everything well and helped find what was needed. Clean and spacious store. And they do repair and finishing services also!

This store is considered a real lumber yard. If you cant find wood products at the big box stores chances are Budget has it. If not, they can order it. They have a great selection of hardware store items and lots of friendly service folks. Plus it doesnt take a half hour to do a shopping run. Many times they have a more diverse selection of products than big boxes. Prices arent always cheaper but they are competitive. Definitely a store that caters to contractors but most likely will satisfy your home improvement needs. One downside is they close at 6pm during the week and are NOT open on Sundays.

If you remember what a hardware store was 20+ years ago, before the big box orange and blue places came into existence, then this is the place for you. Yes, it is a throw back, but in the best ways possible because of customer service. What you wont find is pressure to sign up for a credit card with every checkout, nor will you hear super nanny messages of the store radio about keeping young kids in check. So slow down and accept this is a real hardware store that values quality of quantity. Yes, you possibly will pay a touch more, but that difference is in value of having your exact needs met, and listened to. Bonus is that absence of feeling like you are a sheep rushed into check out.

Budget Home Supply has the greatest customer service of any hardware store in the area. Ive needed help with sprinklers, windows, cabinets, and hard-to-find products on different occasions over the last 10 years, and Ive always left Budget Home Center happy with their service. They know how to take care of customers, and how to educate customers as well.

If you can’t find it at one of the big box stores you will find it here. They also have the best lumber yard in town, prices are a little higher but the lumber is a couple grades better than the other lumber yards in town.

So this is another store to try, to find what youre looking for to update or fix your house. The good thing is they have some brand options that the other places dont. Definitely make the rounds of you arent satisfied with the other big stores because you might end up finding what you really want. Like other have said this place seems a little dated, but they are currently in the midst of a remodel, so maybe itll be better soon?

Budget has a drive through lumberyard, load directly into your truck, no loading on to a cart and waiting in line and then out to the parking lot. Rarely do I wait in line at Budget, Ill take budget over Depo or Lowes any day.

Ive been loving Budget since I first walking in 15 years ago. They have most everything I need for my projects and my customers. The staff is far friendlier here and far more knowledgeable than the staff Ive spoken to when I happen to stop by one of the two big chain alternatives in town. Much more willing to stop what theyre working on and come to your aid, too! The free popcorn is a huge hit with my boy! When Ive comparison shopped - Budget was always competitive. They make it really easy to support a local business!

We shop here for our home needs whenever we can - they have a surprisingly large selection and I enjoy not having to trek miles or get lost to find what I need (like I do at the large chain stores). Their prices are good, and they will match competitors prices if you find something lower. They are tucked away off of any main roads, and I would have never have found them if not for a google search. Great family run alternative to the large chains.

I was in your store about 1:30 this afternoon to price deck railing. One of your associates was waiting on two other gentlemen, never said I will be right with me and left never seeing him again. Another associate walked by and said he had to go wait on other people with doors, I stood for 20 minutes with three associates walking by me with no acknowledgment. It seems you are determined no to wait on customers. So, I left your store without purchasing about $2000.00 of deck railing. I’m sure that small of a sale is not a real big deal to you folks. So if I need other items I will be sure not to come to your store again.

Good size Mom & Pop Hardware store. Everyone wants to help you and talk shop with you about your project weather is lawn and garden or a construction project. Their Pro Desk and staff that man it is extreamly large set up. Maybe 20 people manning the phones and walk up customers. The cashier s are empowered to make decisions. I recently went Budget to buy a 2x10x 8 piece of redwood i only needed 3. They had a piece with a 36 crack down the middle. I asked if it could be discounted down from $30. I was told no that the price of redwood was too high and that they would save it to ship to a builder that may need it! Wow! Rather than sell it to me at a discount they want to try and pawn it off on a builder for full price in a larger material pack! Thats the way to do buisness!? Good luck Budget and builder beware!

Decent place, decent selection. Just rewind your clock back about 20 years. The store seems outdated, the staff was a little unfriendly. My worst part of my experience (by the way, I have shopped here about 10 other times) is the lady in the cabinets area. She told me that she would get back to me then admitted she might forget and that I should call her in case she forgets. (she forgot, over and over) I felt like I had to BEG them to take my hard earned money and order my cabinets. Its too bad they are the only nearby dealer for Merilat cabinets.

Always friendly and willing to serve. A rare combination in todays retail industry. Prices are competitive too!

If youre a weekend DIYer, go to Home Depot or Lowes. Like most less than positive reviews, this begins with the customer making a mistake. I needed a pre-hung door in primer and It turned out that I needed a door for 6 construction and bought a 4. It also turned out that they didnt have pre-hung doors in primer in stock so I ordered one. Guess what? That makes it a special order and non-refundable. Swell. They then sold me a 6 frame to use with door which also was a special order. This was damaged in delivery. The solution was to supply the board in the frame that was damaged. Unfortunately, these things are all stapled together with 1 staples which I have to carefully remove and replace with nails. What should have been a couple day job has turned into 3 weeks. Ill stick with Home Depot and Lowes from now on.

I visited this hardware store for the first time today. I could not believe their inventory. If you need it, they must have it. And they were right there to lead me to my desired product.

The employee who helped us said i can return the door if it was to heavy for my door way and if anything didnt fit. (We measured everything correctly) its all the right size the door is just to heavy! So when i called to see if i can just exchange it for a smaller size i was told no cause we already tried to install the door. (I wasnt not told i couldnt bring it back if it was already worked on)the manager i talked to was so RUDE and pretty much talked to me like i was nothing! Never again will I go back to this location!

Yet they said they couldnt exhange it because they had already added color to it? He said some term for it i didnt know what it meant. Yes we went 10 min before close (yes i know this can be annoying but it was the only time we could go) get told we can come back at 8 AM the next day to see what we could do. My husband and I had a very good experience with pricing cabinets here. They carry a variety of brands from custom cabinets to very basic ones and are very honest about what everything costs. Rita Talbot helped us design and select cabinets for our mud and laundry rooms and was very open about price differences between the cabinet lines and how we could get the best value for the features we wanted. This is in sharp contrast to the business practice of Warehouse Sales Inc. in Marshall; the cabinet supplier our contractor recommended. When we asked for the same cabinet configuration in a lower cost line our questions about price were met with obfuscation and dinner-theatre displays of anger by Yvonne who otherwise seems to be a very experienced salesperson. She and her colleague told us that our inquiries about price were not only unwelcome but rude and insulting. Yvonne consistently tried to steer us toward more expensive product lines and features despite our protest that these cabinets were for utility areas. If you are a smart consumer searching for cabinets, the drive to Longmont is worth your while.
