I dropped off my machine for a warranty issue. At that time I asked that they install the update which is free and install the upGRADE which I had to pay for. At pick up I was told there is a $50 balance. I asked what this is for. The sales lady said it was for fixing the problem. I told her it was under warranty I should not be charged anything. Then she said it was for installing the update. I told her I was told the installation is FREE for updates. Im a long time owner of Bernina products and their updates have always been free! Then she said it was for installing the upGRADE. At the time I dropped off this machine I had asked if there was a charge for installing either of these and I was told No. So she went to get the service tech. The service tech said everything is correct and there is a $50 balance. I wanted to know why. She said because she had to run the machine, so a stitch out, use supplies, etc. I told her the problem was under warranty. I also was told that the update fixed the problem. So the sales lady erased the $50 charge and gave me a zero balance. The service tech stomped back to her work area saying I guess my time isnt worth anything. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt. We all have bad days but when I have repeatedly been treated like this I can say The Presser Foot has a serious problem with customer service. Even though she took the balance to zero I should have been given a better explanation as to why I had a $50 balance. Beware of unexplained charges!!!

I am a novice seamstress with an older model Singer that has been missing a part for a few months. I just called for some help figuring out if I needed to bring it in for a service. The woman on the phone was so helpful and even called me back to point me toward an alternate parts website where I could buy what I needed. I appreciate the great customer service! If I ever need a service I will definitely bring my machine in.

I recently purchased a 1904 Singer sewing machine. I stopped by the Presser Foot today to get some sewing machine oil, thread and a seam ripper. The person who I spoke to was friendly and quite helpful. Nice clean store with what appeared to be a full selection of accessories, tools, material, etc. Unfortunately they dont have classes on the operation of a 1904 treadle type sewing machine.

Refused to process an $8 purchase of quilting thread without gathering personal information for their system and was indignantly rude about it when questioned about the policy.

Poor customer service. I have bought 3 expensive machines here and called today to see if I could schedule a service for 1 machine. Was told I would have to leave for approximately 4 weeks. I asked if they could set up an appointment when they could do it so I’m not without my machine for that long. Nope can’t or won’t do it. Was told everyone and their brother is trying to get in😡. Lame reason for not scheduling an appointment. Why??

I brought my sewing machine in for routine cleaning and maintenance. The folks at the desk went out of their way to treat me special. I even got to use a discount coupon. My machine was serviced and ready in 48 hours. They have a beautiful selection of fabrics at a reasonable price, too.

Poor customer service. I walked in with 3 people behind counter and 1 customer present. I walked around the store to different places in case they didnt see me. Not a hello, well be right with you..no acknowledgement. I guess they dont need any new business. Did my business at a competitor

After many years in business, I recognize true professionals when I see them. Recently Mel and Jenn from the Presser Foot set up a Bernina longarm quilting system at my house and they were wonderful. Their attention to detail and thorough implementation of the system is of the highest caliber.

The first rule of the row by row participating shops is 1. Exist as an independent brick and mortar quilt shop and be open for regular summer hours. Quilt shop is defined as a retail store that carries the materials necessary to create a quilt: fabric, thread, batting and inspiration! On Saturday, July 16, 2016 I checked online for the hours of the shops I was planning to visit before I decided to go. When I arrived at The Presser Foot in Longmont it was closed. The sign read closed for Bernina training. Disappointed but still planning to shop I kept heading north and was met with more disappointment when I arrived at The Presser Foot in Fort Collins and the same closed sign. I guess the stores are are connected together. I took a picture of the sign to prove I was there. I left a post on the row by row Colorado website and contacted the row by row area coordinator. I still think since I visited both stores during normal hours that in good faith the store would email me the free rows. This hasnt happened yet...
