Beware if you buy anything in their more exotic grocery sections such as the UK and European import sections. They stock jars and cans that expired 2 years ago.🤢🤮 Thats lawsuit territory.

It its becoming more frustrating to deal with Fred Meyer in Longview, WA. Almost everyone I order, they are out of a minimum of there items in my list. This would be expected if I shopped once or twice a month, but I dont. I shop sometimes 3x a week! The items that they seem to always be out of are they same items in always order. I typically love Fred Meyer as other stores always have any abundance of my families favorites. I am going to quit shopping there if this doesnt change.

Trying to SHOVE everyone into the self checkout by making going to a register very inconvenient. Otherwise a good store. Just spent like 10 mins in line because only 2 registered were open with about 20 people waiting. Obviously corporate pressure to reduce manpower at the store, pretty sad for an otherwise good store

Absolutely disgusting customer service. This has been my store for years & it’s sad to see this place fall so low. Might as well shop at Walmart if customers are treated this way. Personal Shoppers just pushing their carts in front of you without an apology or “excuse me”. At the register getting our items bagged by an older gentleman, cashier was Laronda. Bagger gets distracted from neighboring cashier to take lock of liquor bottle. He walks off without completing his job with our groceries. The cashier doesn’t help bag at all. I hand my son to my wife so I can finish bagging myself. Meanwhile, Laronda starts ringing up the next customer & bags his groceries while I’m still bagging mine. Completely rude & unnecessary. I’ll spend my money looking for butchers & farmers markets before coming back.No managers around that I saw.Bagger was Charlie. I will add that everyone at the meat counter has always been awesome.

I’d have to say 5/5 all the workers are busy and constantly contributing to the store in one way or another, they are clearly a “all person” type of work place; even the major special needs people can get jobs here. The food is amazing, the time they take to disinfect each cart is astounding; and at every point in the day; they’re checking the food ex date and ensuring lower prices that most places while still having great quality, they’re located in a perfect area; next to a lake, bank, minute marts; have a haircut area right next to them; they have sites for pickup and they’ll take the time to ensure you got your entire order and if something’s wrong they’ll go fix it. They have cake designers inside and a Starbucks as well as a deli.

Harassing people who have medical conditions who can’t wear masks. Told us we weren’t allowed in the store. Others didn’t have a mask on but we were picked out. I even pointed that out. Thankful for another customer who came up and told the employee it’s not a law as he was telling us it was. It’s discrimination. We even showed him the regulations per state. We decided to leave and go to another store to spend our day. Other stores are complying correctly with the mask regulations correctly. Fred Meyers is uneducated and unfortunately for that they lost another customer.

I have enjoyed shopping here for years now, it’s a pleasant place to pick up just about anything you might need without a bunch of extra trips to other stores. That fact still remains, though other things have changed. My single biggest frustration with this store is that despite all of their postings, all of their announcements, etc., they do not enforce their own policies regarding face coverings in the store. Every time I am in there, it doesn’t take but a minute to spot someone thumbing their nose at the policy, heck I have even seen one of their Starbucks baristas making coffee while improperly wearing a mask. It’s an absolute travesty that with the area’s COVID cases spiking, schools going back to distance learning, and so on, that this store will not enforce their own policies and keep the place safe for everyone. There is no legitimate reason to not enforce the policies. If smaller stores like New Seasons in the Portland area can post someone at the entrance to hold people to wearing a face covering, then a publicly traded giant of the grocery industry can too. I may pay more doing the bulk of my shopping there when I can, but at least I don’t have my blood pressure raised by a bunch of walking examples of selfishness and stupidity. This will only get worse too with the lack of enforcement coupled with the increasing crowds doing their holiday shopping.Fred Meyer can share this one star rating with their customers who seem to not really give a damn about their fellow citizen and proudly display it when they walk through that front door and through the aisles while not wearing a mask. But it’s Fred Meyer’s house and they won’t enforce their own policies, so shame on them. Shame on them for obviously putting the collective safety of their own employees who have worked through this pandemic and their customers who do follow the rules at risk over the fact that they are either unwilling to have difficult conversations with those who refuse to comply or perhaps are more concerned with the money that these people might spend over the virus they could possibly spread.

Always a pleasant shopping experience, friendly staff clean bathrooms. I find some of their items to be pricey, but I always manage to find hidden deals in the store.

Thankful for delivery service in the snow. Only thing they messed up on was substituting veggie chicken nuggets for corn dogs and white bread for Texas bread. But I did get a 20.00 roast for 9.99 so.it worked out ok.

Again today, employees with masks under their nose. I know it doesnt feel good but many people are great about it so please cover your nose. The last straw was the young lady in the deli with her mask under her nose while she handled the fresh deli meat etc. I dont know her name but she is very friendly and upbeat. If some one could teach her to use her mask appropriately and stop calling all the older people honey (we hate that) she would be one of your best deli employees.

Fredmeyers is denying and discriminating people who have medical conditions that prevent them from wearing face masks. Lost my service for good and will be informing others. They said these are the laws now and they don’t except anyone who can’t wear a mask. After he made a phone call and found out there was in fact regulations that allow people who can’t wear masks in the store and seeing several others without masks we left. Walmart is allowing people without masks with medical conditions. Very poor management and service.

I quit going here for groceries as the people that are doing the curbside pick up are so extremely rude when they are going up and down the isle. One older lady told me to wait a second while she moved forward to the item. The produce section is always poor quality lots of molded items in fruits and vegetables. The people working the seafood are rude too with little knowledge on what they have or how fresh it is. Im disappointed as the checkers are so kind.

Driving by my local Freddies just the other day, and I get astrong whiff of fresh cooke0chicken. Unable to resist the hunger, the juicy yuminess,. I must have . All is good.

Fred Meyer is a nice place to shop... Always clean and the customer service is A + always! You can find most items you need and of good quality. I enjoy the bulk edibles and bulk spices... the deli meats and cheeses are fantastic too. Many Fred Meyers have a Starbucks inside with seating if you wanna relax and read whatever fits your fancy. Their clothing section is very nice, along with the shoes. I enjoy the fine quality of childrens clothing too :) I love their outdoor plants they offer as well. There is fine jewelry inside Freddys too! Theres just a bit of something for everyones different needs... oh, I also like their natural health foods and also natural supplements they have to offer. Shopping here is a pleasure and it often is a one stop shopping trip. I do love Fred Meyer!

I just went and got sushi from here. I usually go to Winco. I was so impressed it was very fresh. Tastes amazing! The worker was making fresh sushi in front of me. She was very friendly and had excellent customer service. I will continue to buy sushi from this Fred Meyers.

We ordered a cake from Fred Meyers bakery for my sisters gender reveal. The cake was almost $100. When we picked it up the cake was slidding apart. They added butterfly rings on the top of the cake even though they were told it was a gender reveal cake. We were very specific about what we wanted the cake to look like and we did not get what we asked for. We also ordered a special separate small cake for my sister and they messed it up so bad we didnt end up even taking it. I am so disappointed. I should not be paying this much for a cake and have it this messed up.

After shopping on Saturday I will not be back until this store get its precautions in order during this pandemic. People going in and out of entrances loitering with no face coverings at the entrances, no wipe down of carts, card readers not wiped down, employees with no masks or half down, basically no precautions except the plexy glass and some checkout stands. Fred Meyer/ Kroger get your act together please!! One year since last review. It seems Freddys is not abiding by states mask mandate. The COS definitely lack the balls to keep its employees or shoppers safe.

As other reviewers have said this store needs new management!! They trying to be a Vancouver or Portland fred Myers but in doing so took away everything “friendly neighborhood “ about it! So many items are missing and to try and cover it up they spread out what they do have and make it look messy confusing and not a pleasant shopping experience!

We couldnt have been happier with two cakes that we recently ordered for a baby shower. The round cakes, decorated by Krystal, were covered in white flowers and were truly a beautiful work of art!

I shopped at the ocean beach store on Saturday. I was totally disappointed with the non existent measures to keep people safe from covid19. The workers had masks on but not very many other people. It was real busy and there was no sanitized carts or measures for social distancing. I applaud Walmart and Safeway for the measures they have taken. I will not be shopping at Fred’s until this is completely over. You should care about your customers.Laurie M

The store was pretty clean. Heck they where cleaning the windows when we got here. I dont shop here often because of their high prices but the little gas station has cheap gas.The bathrooms are very clean, at least they where when I used em. I dont know what cleaner they use but it smells pleasant.The place is easy enough to navigate.

Best Deli in town a must stop these guys are great! Warning on the Gateway location! There was a staff member in the Deli that got special permission from KIM and ANGELA to take chicken out of the oven that 100 to 125 degrees to serve to customers for the late evening rush? Kim and Angela lost there notes on this problem and I kept mine! I talked to Renee Miller about this problem! This is why Jack in the Box had to change there name to Monterrey Jacks!

I ordered the holiday dinner. It was terrible! Big disappointment. I didn’t realize I was highering someone to pull frozen side dishes from the frozen food isle, which is exactly what they did. Also the turkey breast was processed meat like you would get if you bought Jenni-O. And the pie had more crust than filling. If there was a rating less than one star this would be it. Never do this again.

They are working very hard to keep up with demand, and are still keeping sale prices on many items in short supply. By far the cleanest store in town.

Fred Meyers was my go to store! I spent a lot of money there! People called me a Freddie’s girl but not anymore. After the remodel they moved everything around so it takes me forever to just find one item! One time I went to go ask for help finding something and mentioned that I don’t really care for the remodel and one of the staff members came over to me and yelled well why don’t you go to Walmart my reaction was I pushed my cart and walked out! Another thing they need to work on is the Digital Deals when ever I go there to get what they are advertising for the digital deals they are always out and say the truck didn’t come in! Once again it gets frustrating! The other day I went there to give them another chance I bought some markers for my Grandson and when we opened them they were all dry and we can’t return them because we opened them. I do have to say some of the staff are very helpful! But it seems every time I go in there I get frustrated so I dont go in there as often. Loved the store in the past but right now it’s one of my least favorite stores!

I cannot say enough good things about Fred Meyer. During all mass hysteria this past two weeks the employees at Freddys have raised the bar on serving this community. They show up friendly as usual despite the beating of rude ignorant prople in panic mode. The shelves are constantly being stocked to meet demands. The employees hold nothing back. And all the time facing the same risk as the rest of us.This is America at her finest and these American workers deserve our love and respect everyday. Thank you Fred Meyer.

Curb side pickup often had gotten our inaccurate

Its close by me. Also have self-checkout that I like. Can usually find most all the products I need. Warm fresh chicken is a quick meal after a busy day. Dont use the gas pumps because they are always too full and the direction of the flow through the station for the cars is a poor setup. Just my opinion. Thanks

I went into Fred Meyers lawn and garden section looking for a plant that was recommended to me. I asked an employee for help. It turned out lawn and garden was not his regular department. However he searched through the plants until he found what I was searching for. I was very thankful not knowing anything about this plant. He could have just pointing in the general direction of my plant and been done with me. He went well out of his way to find me what I was looking for.

Freddies is where I always used to shop. Now, since the remodel, its too spread out. I just cant get from one end to the other and complete my list. The pharmacy is a joke. I used this pharmacy for years. Now every prescription is short or not ready when they tell me it will be. Sorry, but you lost my business. Im only one little old lady so guess it wont matter to you. Thank you though for great service in the past.

Really like the remodeled store. Its nice how they have redesigned everything. The drive thru pharmacy is wonderful. My little dog gets a biscuit, great customer service.

Still getting used to the new layout. Not sure I agree with kitty supplies on the same aisle as condiments. ;) But, I love the openness of the store now. It makes it feel so much bigger! I also like that there are people who bag the groceries too. So much more efficient.

This is an excellent place to shop. The store is HUGE and you can buy practically anything here. Theres even a gas station with competitive prices. The quality of the produce, meats, deli, and bakery is simply outstanding. They have pretty much any food you could want and decent array of ethnic food. The the checkout lines are usually very fast, but if you have a few items you are garunteed a self-checkout station either immediately or after a brief wait (less than a minute). Customer service is great!

Although Fred Meyer is going through massive reorganizing and there is no parking or wait to park...the clerks are awesome! Helpful young people ask if I need help...I must look lost. Nothing is as it was other than the friendly helpful people that work there.

New remodel looks very nice 👍 the prices are typically a little higher than Walmart. However they tend to carry far more specialty items than the competition. Workers are friendly and professional. They have a Starbucks 🌟 for that inner hankering for coffee ☕️. Really the overall experience is as good as can be had anywhere around! Oh and if you like Les Schwabs they are just across the parking lot... for these reasons and more they get a five out of five from me.

Ah, the Ocean Beach Fred Meyers... It can be a busy visit or a slow, involved discerning visit: your choice! I have spent several hours shopping for groceries at Freddies; this particular store is well stocked for selection. Theyl are in the process of renovating the store right now, so some areas are a little different. Even so, they are keeping it swept and surprisingly clean in areas of construction. A full service store with helpful and friendly employees, worth stopping there. Theres even a stand alone hair-cutting salon! Pharmacy & drivethru. I give it my endorsement (for what that is worth!) Enjoy yourself...

This place has done a wonderful transformation! I mean looks like the inside of a traders Joes now!! Way to come up to speed guys and the new scan your own grocerys and go is awesome..with roadside delivery and a ton of self checkouts this place is now as fast as a 7/11. Thr variety and selections are great and a one stop shops for all your needs!

I didnt actually go to fred meyers. I was there at great clips. I did an online check in. It said i had a 4 minute wait. Got in there to check in and the snotty little girl behind the counter said it was going to be 15-20 minute wait. Weekdays the point of an online check in???

I like that this store has a decent selection of natural/vegan food options, but there definitely could be more. I have to split my food shopping between Fred Meyer and the Safeway in Kelso because that store is the only one that carries the 3 Beyond Meat products I regularly buy. But Fred Meyer has an overall better selection of vegan stuff.

The is first Fred Meyers that I have been to that I really like! And not just for the Starbucks. Off the bat my favorite thing is that they offer fresh fruit as a snack for your kids, and not just cookies or candy. I LOVE THAT!I have yet to have a bad experience there, I am sure that day will come. But for now I love it. Friendly staff, VERY HELPFUL, and always willing to go a little extra to help me and my family out.I know that Fred Meyer can be spendy at times, but if you keep an eye out for their coupons you will find some good deals.

They used to have a Fred Meyers jewelry store at the Three Rivers Mall but they closed it. I then had to take my ring for cleaning and repairs to this location. Sad to say :the staff and corporate management are poor in customer service. August of 2017 I dropped off my ring for a repair estimate and did not hear from anybody until I sent an email in December of 2017. This is common treatment and behavior from the jewelry Department staff. My email had no effect so I had to do my own research and try to get ahold of someone in top management so I researched online and got a hold of the VP of operations. Left him several voicemail messages and he never called. Instead I guess he contacted the Fred Meyers Jewelry Store and gave them the okay to send my ring by US Postal Service. This took place because one day that I went into the grocery store and remembered I had the ring at the jewelry store, I remembered to go to the jewelry store. The female said she could not locate the ring. For that reason I started my message Trail with the corporate office in Oregon. Starting the new year January 2018, since I had not received my ring by USPS after Christmas, I decided to get the ball rolling again. This time I was able to leave a message to the person in charge of the jewelry department corporate office thanks to an ambassador/ customer service feedback from the 1 800 phone number that addressed my complaint over the phone! The two upper management males that I left messages never had the audacity or the kindness to return my phone calls. I told them I would never recommend anyone shopping at the jewelry stores in Fred Meyers, that I would never take my ring in for repairs ever again or purchase anything from them again.Bottom line is you never get a call back or ever when you drop off your stuff for repairs. Your item would sit there for months. The last time I took my ring in to repair was 2015 & it took over 6 months to have my ring back in my possession!!!

Best general grocery and mercantile in the Longview area as far as variety and cleanliness.Best is probably deli and bakery. Good sushi, too. Their sushi people are traditionally trained and also supply custom orders.

I needed help with a Western union transaction. Talked with Mandie at customer service. The thing became a big ordeal but Mandie hung in there for 30 minutes. The outcome wasnt what I wanted but not for Mandies lack of trying. So thanks, Mandie, I appreciate your effort and tenacity when others might have given up.

This is a corporate issue. The check out was planned by someone who had absolutely no clue how bagging works. Walmart has a better set up. If i wanted to bag my own groceries, I would go to Winco!

December 2018. Construction. Lack of parking. Employees filling internet orders are a hazard. Shoppers trying to figure out the hand-held self-scan devices are clogging the aisles. The store layout has changed, for example applesauce is no longer with canned fruit---its in a new strange kid aisle with juice boxes and fruit snacks with the cereal. The new store brand Dip is dominating the clothing, and it looks really uninviting. This has always been my favorite store in town, but it is a struggle to shop here right now. Too many changes at once, and just in time for the holiday season--ugh.

Their undercover isnt so undercover very unprofessional bordering on harassment need more training I will never go to that store again Ive never been treated so badly in my life. I would not recommend to my worst enemy. Visit at your own risk!!

Best selection of freshest food in Longview. Costs a bit more if you dont have a Freddys account, but excellent discounts for those with a Fred Meyer credit card. Check out is a bit slow, which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Freddys is the best if you have the time, but if youre in a hurry dont go there. Safeway is faster and almost as good.

Dont like the remodel but i get it needs to be done. I had two people ask me if i needed helping finding stuff. So thats good. Gets a little busy at times but like most stores.

Not the same store that Mr Meyer started long ago. Kroeger has fast tracked it so bad that I dont like shopping there much anymore.

Today was the last straw in my making my mind up about this market. I like the quality of most of the goods, and the a selection is good. The problem is that so few of the employees in the market have any people skills or training. You cant have a quality business with such poor customer service.

One of our favorite places to shop for organic produce. In the small town of Longview, Fred Meyer is the leader in offering good quality produce and vegan/vegetarian options. We also find their staff very helpful and friendly.
