Pretty crowded even on Sunday. No ammo on shelf today, but they do send out social media messages when it comes in. Large selection of long guns, hand guns, knives and accessories. Staff helpful and friendly.

Associates were too busy playing a game on the computer. A third individual greeted us upon entry but he was too busy working. The gamers were too occupied to offer help. Ammo was a bit on the high side. Ended up just looking around and leaving after a while.Hopefully when they move to the new location theyll have more selection and better service.

Have been hunting down ammo for the past couple weeks during this ammo shortage we are in. It never failed what day I went in, they always had something I was looking for! I also love building on all my firearms. Superior outfitters always has the parts I am looking for in every variation of color and configuration! Hands down the best place in Longview to grab parts or ammo! Their new firearm selection is also second to none. If you want great service AND selection Superior is the place! This gun shop in Longview, Texas is definately worth a look if youre in the area. We drive 140 miles, just to be in the area. Ask for Preston, but every staff person is helpful and knowledgeable about guns. It was a lot of fun. Well worth the drive.

I dont usually expect that at gun stores as more knowledgeable people tend to come off arrogant, but not here!Graham Orr helped me and he gave me my best experience at any gun store and I own 6. Picked out a shotgun and needed to wait for a background check. Was told to come back Thursday and pick it up if I hadnt heard anything from them by then. Wasnt told to put the gun on layaway or anything. They sold the gun to someone else.

You will not find a better deal in east Texas. I am the guy that will shop several gun shops and pawn shops looking for a good deal before making a decision. I have never found a better deal on used and new guns than here. If you value knowledgeable staff and the best deals in east texas, this is the only obvious choice to buy. The one stop shop for anything you could ever learn about firearms and anything you could build. Graham is your guy for any questions you have and anything you are looking for. My go to shop for anything gun related.

This store always has a great selection of Firearms and ammo. When I shop there I always ask for Connor he is the most knowledgeable sales rep.

Service was good during purchase but needed to buy one additional item and called to see if it was unstick. Never got a reply on first voicemail I left. After a day, I called again and again left voicemail. Because of their failure to contact me, it is my feelings they just want a sale in house and not business by phone. I contacted Top Shot, got a person to talk with, they had what I was looking for and drove to purchase the item.Superior Outfitters will no longer get my budiness.

Nice, new, clean building. This is attracted me to Superior when they first opened a couple years ago. After two years of being a faithful customer and several firearms purchases later, a few weeks ago I decided to take my Glock 43 in to get some Ameriglo iron sights installed. I left my gun, gave them the sights I purchased, and went home being told they would call me when it was done. After two days of no calls, I went back in person to see what was taking so long. Turns out, the installation had been done for more than a full day, they just never called me. Annoying, but not a huge issue.What was a huge issue however, was how terribly my sights were installed. The rear sight was not centered... at all. And the front sight was loose; I could see light underneath it. The next day when I took my forearm back to get it fixed, they told me they would get it taken care of right away and would call me when it was done. This time however, I received no calls for 17 DAYS, TWO AND A HALF WEEKS. After calling and going in several times during this period to get MY GUN back, on the 18th day it was finally “done”. Turns out, after 17 days of service... the sights were the exact same, still loose and not centered, and they tried to charge me again for the installation. This lead to me asking for them to put the stock Glock sights back on, since they obviously couldn’t install my Ameriglo’s currently. They did while I was still in the store, it took around 10 minutes to get my Glock sights on but 18 days to “fix” my Ameriglo sights??? This lead to me asking for the manager so I could get a refund for the installation service since all they really did was charge me $30 to tell me my sights were “faulty” and take my gun for almost 3 weeks. The answer was no, and he told me I should be thankful that I’m not being charged again since they re-installed my Glock sights. After a 20 minute heated conversation, the conclusion was he took no responsibility for the lack of professionalism, the lack of communication, the inability to install basic, common aftermarket sights, and didn’t even respond to them having my gun for 18 days. He continually told me that this whole ordeal “wasn’t his problem” and that he was just focused on me “leaving him a 5 star review”. Screw that.They store is nice in appearance, but the management OBVIOUSLY cares more about a small profit than their customers satisfaction. They have lost my service, my money, and I will no longer push them as a good store. Terrible communication, terrible service, and blaming the customer for the stores incompetence is all a no for me. It’s back to Sportsman’s Outfitters on Gilmer Rd.

They are over priced and their customer service is terrible. Called up there to let them know that the 100 rd drum for the AR-15 was getting stuck when I releases the magazine eject button. I had a hard time pulling it out. Obviously an employee had me on some kind of speakerphone and the employee told the problem to another employee and I have no clue of who this employee is but he said and I quote “ Is he sure that he has an AR-15”? And that employee started laughing!. Then all I heard was laughter from other employees . I got upset and said that guy doesn’t know what,,,,,,,, Superior hung up. i will never shop their again. Gonna make sure everyone else knows.

We had an associate ring up the people behind us first. They were not being help by anyone all they were doing was buying ammo. So there was no special reason for him to help them first. We had been patiently waiting about 5 minutes for the man in front of us to finish his 3 gun, 5 hat and multiple accessory purchase, then another cashier had the people behind us cut in front of us.I felt like I was at Cheeper than Dirt in McKinney...and they have since gone the way of the Dodo.
