Bought a used bike from Roughneck. The bike had some running issues. It took a while but I have my bike back and it runs like a champ. They sent it for a dyno tune in Dallas. I am very happy with these people.

Update 10/28/2021: This service department continues to disappoint 🙇🏻‍♂️.. I’m trying to give this service dept. my business but each time it gets more difficult to go back to them.I don’t get much time off from work so when I do get some time off, that time is valuable to me. When you waste my time w/ poor service, it can’t be bought back.New employees or experienced employees shouldn’t matter. When a customer is paying premium prices, why shouldn’t we expect premium service. Your customers literally count on you.(My expressed concerns are only with the service department)Update 08/21/2019 : Today I lost some faith in my home dealership service department.I am a new rider and new customer to Roughneck Harley so I have no other dealership to compare them to. I also dont have first hand experience under the previous ownership but I will say this, I have never enjoyed a purchase as much as I have at Roughneck.

Best treatment Ive had compared to any other dealerships. Very friendly staff. Good bike inventory and if your.just looking for a tshirt or gift for someone, they have a very large inventory to choose from.

Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the stock and anything else you could possibly want to know about a bike with the Harley name on it. And they really arent pushy like most salespeople. Very enjoyable experience.

I’m a beginner rider. I’ve never touched a bike before. Sturgis Steele has walked me step by step in the process of getting a bike and all that goes with it: insurance, tags, license, etc... I didn’t buy a bike from this store but the service is amazing. Steele helps me even when it’s his day off. I highly recommend this shop.

We had a wonderful experience. We had no intentions of buying a bike that day, but Jakob and Craig were able to make our dream come true! They were all very caring and as soon as we walked in, it was like becoming a part of a family. I could not recommend them any more! Do not waste your time going anywhere else, you will not find better people any where else!

Its been about 2 months and 1800 miles since I was told that the bearings that were installed in my rear wheel were going to fail. I asked the advisor Rusty what they were going to do about the huge gouge they left in my wheel, and ended up getting ghosted. Even when I sent a bad survey and requested to speak to someone, still no response. All I was asking for was a little bit of honesty and someone to be accountable for their actions. I was told that someone would get back with me about the wheel when I originally brought it to his attention. And still nobody has contacted me back at all.

Traveling to Dallas area and stopped in for oil change asked service about getting it changed since mileage was close to time but I needed to get back on road quickly. He said that racks were full but one would be empty soon and could get me in and out. Hour and half later I go back to desk to check if done and he tells me they havent started and not sure how much longer. Tell him never mind, Ive got to get on road (friend in hospital). I understand some jobs end up taking longer than expected, just wish that somewhere in that hour and half someone had came over and explained that it was going to be longer than expected. Went in shop with good thoughts about it left without them.

This is the second Adam Smith Harley dealership my husband and I have been to. And Im still in love. The staff is chill, theres no pressure to buy anything. We spent HOURS trying out new seats for our 17 road glide special. We found one we love, and we know once we drop the money it will be so worth it. Shoutout to Jessica for her helpful recommendations and awesome spirit, I believe the gentleman helping us with the seats was named Erin and he was just so cool. All in all, an amazing expierence. If youre going to buy a Harley, go to an Adam Smith dealership. Youll leave with a bad a$$ bike and a whole new family.

Sales people and owner were super helpful and friendly. I loved the atmosphere, very laid back.

The salesperson was great to talk to. Jacob was knowledgeable and extremely easy to work with. However, the pricing/financing team was not as exciting to work with. I was looking at a 2008 Fatboy priced at $7,999. It would need a lot of cleanup as it had much pitting on the wheels and several bolts had traces of rust. The drivetrain was in good condition, though. Taking this in consideration, I was taken back when the price after sales and taxes skyrocketed to about 10k. I understand the need for profit but in my opinion, this was on the extreme side. After a second attempt at an offer, I walked out and decided to pursue other leads. I ultimately ended up purchasing a 2011 Fatboy with 1k more miles but at $2,200 less than what Roughneck wanted for their ride. I recommend doing your due diligence an finding out what fees you can expect to see as well preparing to negotiate them. I personally will not be purchasing my next upgrade from here, but others may have a different experience if they choose to do business with them.

Its a pleasure to go into this dealership. The employees, for the most part, treat you like family. They have coffee brewed and your welcome to grab a cup and set down and relax, share a testimony with other customers or even the employees. Love this dealership and the people there, and always have. I have been coming here since I was a kid, when the shop was on the other side of town. I have grown up with Longview Harley Shop/ Roughneck. When I was in the Marines, in Iraq, they sent me one hell of a care package. I walk in the store and it’s like old family. I can’t say enough good about these people! Jason has always done a hell of a job on my bike, when in for service, or to build me one crazy engine! Robin is always more than helpful and considered family in my book. I wish this place much success, Semper Fi!

What a great experience. Having owned my own custom bike shop many years ago I know the issues a bike owner faces. I was in need of a shop tool for checking the accuracy of my wifes speedometer on her 96 Dyna. This tool is not readily available to the public. The service manager Greg took the time to listen to my needs and understand that I only needed the tool for one day. I had already researched the tool number but was sure nobody would have it or allow me to borrow it. Wow was I surprised when Greg brought the tool from the shop and told me here you go. Bring it back when you are done. Yes he took my information as any responsible shop would, it is after all a $500.00 tool. The reason I am so impressed is that over the years I have visited many HD shops and most are all about the money. Few are truly about going the little extra step and helping a fellow biker out. Greg saved me a great deal of time and money by making this tool available to me. Business and loyalty are earned not just given. You earned both today. To the owners of Roughneck Harley, you have done well by hiring this young man.

I enjoyed as always dealing with roughneck harley when buying my bike. I know what I want and my salesman who I recommend dealing with is Jacob at Longview Harley. He really is out to sell you a bike that you want instead of just putting you in any bike.

What a great shopping day. We left with cold weather gear, a new jacket for my wife, a new half-shell helmet, and a Harley collar for the dog. Even found a gold and silver gas cap medallion for our bike. Yvonne was our sales rep and she was great. I can promise you Roughneck Harley has gained us as loyal customers.

Stopped in here to buy a jacket and was greeted by a woman who said her name was Christy, she had liquor on her breath. I saw her go to a small Dodge Ram as I was leaving it was white with black stripes and she flipped me off- must’ve been her lunch hour- and she smoked a cigarette. I’m headed back to Florida what a horrible experience I can’t believe this franchise lets their employees drink at work!

We were very happy with with our bike. When we purchased it we added some upgrades and trusted that we were being sold quality parts. Not ever a yr later our very expensive upgraded bars have huge rust spots. So of course after the run around and many times of being put on hold and the manufacturer not warranty the bars Roughneck said they would replace the bars only after I sent them several pictures of the bike and where it has been garage kept the entire time we have had it. Needless to say the bars came in they called and told us we could pick them up however the prior arrangement was that they would pick the bike up and do the repairs .Oh did I tell you we paid out the nose for an extended warranty for the entire bike and that this bike has only been out of the garage 3 time max as my husband works out of town. They picked the bike up almost 2 weeks ago with the promise it would be available for pick up tomorrow. We call today they havent touched it. Very poor customer service and failure to communicate. We wouldnt recommend doing real business with this shop. Buy a T-shirt sure a bike NOPE.

Nice dealership...

I dropped off my bike for a scheduled appointment to fix a recall. Fast forward more than 2 weeks... They promised me 3 different times that my bike would be ready for pick up. On the 3rd promised date, I was told my bike hadn’t even been started on. I told them to not touch it & that I’d be coming to pick it up shortly. Not only did they not bother to even work on my bike, they apparently left it outdoors the entire time. My bike was so filthy when I arrived that I walked by it because I didn’t recognize it. We have multiple Harleys, have had them serviced at countless dealerships in half a dozen states & this is, without a doubt, the worst experience we’ve ever had. I called another dealership (not owned by this group), had an appointment for my bike 2 days later, happily waited while they fixed my bike & was back on the road in just over an hour. You couldn’t pay me to go back to Roughneck.

The staff are all very friendly people who go above and beyond to make your visit the best experience possible. Everyone was very helpful during our visit, and we came out with a brand new bike. I couldnt have been more impressed.

Very Friendly, Huge Selection

Love the staff especially Robin! Ive been doing business there for over 20 yrs. In 2000 they were very involved helping me choose the bike that fit my size perfect and helping me modify it, giving me greater independence which equals to Safety. Theyve always treated me like family! And whats not to love about a beautiful shop filled with Harleys and chrome and leather lol. Ill still always call it The Harley Shop which was its name for many years. Pic of Pearl dressed up for the holidays.
