This is the first brewery started In Seminole County that is still open. They began in a small location just down the road and are now one of the most notable breweries in all of Central Florida. Great atmosphere, fun and friendly staff, games, pinballs machines, art, and solid beers and food. Waco Taco and Papa Bees are attached to the brewery and compliment the beer well. If you’re visiting the area this is one of the breweries you must visit! 🍻

This place was really cool and they had great selection for brews. Long drinks on the beach was by far my favorite beer here. The beer shots were good too! The axe throwing was really cool and the arcade games were a nice touch. Papa bees is next door and they have the best wings. Loved this place! The stranger things lights on the wall was awesome.

We were vacationing in the area and planning to hit up 6 or so craft breweries. Hourglass was first on our list and it did not disappoint. We hit up brewery # 2 and it was ok, but it was no Hourglass. We didnt even go anywhere else and ended up going back to Hourglass the next day because we knew we wouldnt find anything any better.HUGE selection, 42 beers on tap and we tried them all. I dont plan to be back in Orlando, but if I am I will visit them again.The Carrot Cake was a surprising favorite.

I love the Not a sports bar aspect of this establishment. Appealing to the gamer geekier side of life. its themes and amenities are a breath of fresh air. Pinball axe throwing,arcade games and art in a brewery establishment.

So my new favorite drink, other than framboise, is now Skwish (yellow drink) and fiancé has the “Brown Beer, Brown Beer What do you do see?” We are definitely coming back AND bring friends. Pinball games here, no food but you can order food from Uber and get it delivered but would recommend to eat before coming or after you leave here. Lots of different kinds of beer though. Would highly recommend!!

Really love this strip mall set up... walk down the front and you can get amazing food and bring it into the brewery to eat and have wonderful beers... and an amazing variety of them too.

Great beer and atmosphere. I tried the new Mall Walker sweet dark stout in a bottle and it was delicious. Dessert in a bottle. The addition of pinball games ia also cool.

Great place with nice tasting beer. Its cool to be able to see the brewing process through the glass. The tables are spaced for covid spacing. It is nice that Waco tacos is right next door and there is a doorway in the wall to walk through from the brewery to get to them. This is a place to visit.

Plenty of shaded outdoor seating if you are avoiding covid. During non-pandemic years, really enjoyed hanging inside with nostalgic 80s theme.

We had a blast. Great beers. My wife grew up on Pinball. She was in heaven.

A great time will be had here.Tons of interesting beers on tap ranging through many styles. Pastry stouts? Theyre here along side of wild sours and american style lagers all brewed with plenty of care.Two great restaurant locations next door guarantee that you wont be drinking on an empty stomach.Plenty of entertainment is available as well, loads of arcade games, plenty of pinball machines, and even axe throwing.

Dont tell my other favorites, but this is the best brewery in central Florida. Always a huge variety of beers from everyday drinking lagers to avant garde ales, everyone can find something new to drink.I recommend trying their specialties, such as artisan saisons, experimental IPAs, and sours.Wako Taco next door is just a fantastic bonus as theyll deliver eats to your table at the brewery.

What a selection of beer. My favorite place. Has 2 locations. Longwood is best with great atmosphere and Mexican food conjoined on left end. Bar very cool.

Super cozy place with great beer selection! They have a little bit of everything for any type of beer lover. The pop culture décor was neat--Mario all over the walls and Stranger Things lights and Im sure there was more I didnt notice. The pinball machines and axe throwing room were a surprise but it was cool and different, Id never seen a brewery with those before. Absolutely will be back for more.

A larger brewery location that has a great vibe. Weve been here several times, both just to visit for drinks and also for shows that they have on site. The most recent visit was for the oddities show, which was super fun and different!!They have a decent sized parking lot that usually isnt too hard to find a spot in. Inside they have a variety of seating - mostly high-top. It is a good venue for just a couple of people or a large group at one of the long tables. Board games are available as well if you want to enjoy those while you have a few drinks.Mainly they offer up beers, but they do also have a small variety of wines if you prefer that option. They have a doorway leading into the taco place next door, and they dont mind you having their food over on their side, which is nice.Overall: AGreat larger brewery location with a fun hang-out and enjoy vibe!

Awesome brewery! I am not from Florida, but stopped in on my way to Orlando, and so glad we did. The bartender was very friendly and quite knowledgeable about their beers and how to enjoy them. They had a good selection that pretty well covers the gamut of popular beer styles, and the ones that I tried were quite tasty. Its a shame I dont live close to this brewery as I would visit quite often!

Both this location and the Hourglass District location are great places to grab a drink and/or fill growlers/pick up cans of their beer. The beers themselves are a pretty diverse group so there should be something for most beer drinkers.

Passed this spot just driving along in Longwood, and popped in for a nice surprise. Was looking for something to do on a day off in the afternoon and this was a nice spot to just chill and have some beers with a friend. The environment had good vibes, well decorated. And they also had a movie projector screen setup which I thought was cool.First time coming here and so as with any brewery had to get the sampler. I enjoyed all of their brews. And think that they offer a good variety of beers. I’m not the most well versed yet at this beer thing but I’m definitely enjoying it so far. I will definitely be back at this spot. Got to finish trying all of their brews lol

Nice aesthetic. Wife liked the Harry Potter tribute wall. Pinball machines were a great. Incredible lineup of beers on TV monitors which was cool. I noticed a lot of reviews less than 5 stars that don’t name a single bad thing about the place. Doesn’t seem fair. Personally my only complaint was the prices were just a touch high. I normally expect to pay between 6 and 8 a beer. I had one that was 10 bucks. But with the Craftapped app I received a free beer. The beers were very unique. Worth a trip if you’re in the altamonte area.

Great variety of solid beers. I got a stout that was like 14% & it tasted delicious. Real laid back vibe and plenty of TVs around the bar with a lounging area. Thankfully they didnt notice I only had on one sandal the entire time I was there haha. So 5 stars for allowing me in!

Solid brewery. I only tried one of their IPAs, and it was excellent. They have deep selection of beers, but decor is excellent. They have traveling art shows for decor. Currently, it was a star wars show, which is quite neat. They have direct access to waco tacos, which serves their tables. They have TVs, including a massive projection screen. Overall, the place is quite good.

Rented out the sour glass Brewery section for a party they were very helpful with our event.

Whats great about Hourglass is that they always have something for everyone but always something unique as well. In shott, they have a ton of great beer on tap and to go.

Great brews, terrible service/time management. I ordered 4 crowlers @2:45, as a crowd formed behind me the waitress started my order THEN STOPPED ORDER to focus on the growing line. As help came by 3 the server proceed to carry on conversations with people that didnt wanna wait in line...40 min later @3:28 I walk out with my togo order, that was stopped half way through.

Second visit in 3 years, had a Morlock stout and it hit the spot. Plan on returning this week to try a few other beers. They have large selection and had quite a few sours.

My fiance and I stopped by Hourglass Brewing whilst in Florida on vacation--in fact, this was our first date night out since the birth of our five month old daughter. And we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The atmosphere was great and the beer selection was excellent.

Ive been to hourglass dozens and dozens of times, starting with right after they moved to this current location.Ive had two experiences with bartenders there that stood out. The first time I went, when Jasmin was incredibly friendly and made it a great first stop. And tonight, Jessica was absolutely awesome.One of the most fun bartenders Ive met. Awesome personality, engaging, and it made my night. Its bartenders like her that make people into regulars. Really enjoyed my time at the Brewery tonight!

My favorite bar in Florida. They have a great beer menu and the staff is always very nice and helpful. It is INCREDIBLY clean in there. Very rare for a bar. It’s great for dates and hangouts with friends. They also support local artists which is super rad.I would absolutely recommend this place

Excellent brewery with a large selections and good prices. Right now I love that they have easy to go options. We come back often to try more varieties and always keep some in the fridge.

Best local brewery in the Orlando area. Good tap selection, something for everyone including interesting mead selections a few wines and ciders for the non-beer crowd. There are two food establishments next door with reasonable fare. Try this place out.

I spent days searching all over the internet to find a place to have my 30th birthday. All the event spaces I was looking at were wayyy overpriced and too much for what I needed. I came across an article that had listed the Sourglass room of Hourglass for an event space and it was absolutely perfect. Shelby is the event coordinator there and she was so amazing and easy to work with. I talked with Shelby about my needs and they could accommodate everything perfectly. Not only that but she went above and beyond to help me host this event. She thought of things I didnt and the whole thing was very affordable. She made sure we were taken care of the whole night with the help of another member of the staff, Byron. Byron was pouring us beers all night and helping with anything that came up and was such a pleasure to be around. Shelby even went out of her way to wish me a Happy Birthday several times during the event and introduced me to their AMAZING frozen sour which I highly recommend. I just want to give a huge shoutout and thank you to Shelby, Byron and Hourglass. Because of all of them, I had the best birthday and I will be sure to recommend them to anyone who ever needs an event space or just a cool place to hang out. Thank you all so much for such a great night! I am so thankful!

Great beer, great staff, great atmosphere! This is always our go to spot to relax and have an amazing craft beer. Tons of flavors to please any palate. The staff is SO friendly and attentive! Joe is always so helpful and happy to answer any questions. They also do trivia, bingo and yoga!

Great local brewery usually has a dozen+ of their beers on tap to choose from. The salon is decorated with local art work some available for purchase.

Came here for the first time last night with my girlfriend, the selection of beers is great and the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Im glad they have some more mild/plain sort of beers (I think it was called Pops?) Because while I appreciate a nice sour or porter sometimes I just want a beer that tastes like beer. The decor is also good and adds to the fun and welcoming atmosphere. This is much better than R.R. or the other local breweries Ive been to.

I love this place. The options and creative beers is great. Nice atmosphere as well. I like to got to Papa Bees, grab some wings and sit down in Hourglass and see what beer I want. Eventually I will try them all. Staff is helpful and never far away if you need anything.

The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. When you walk into the door its almost like stopping back in time. They have a lot of cool stuff and the decor is amazing. They also have a large selection of beers. If you get hungry, there is a taco place connected to their building! This is a great place, give them a try!

I’m a big fan of adventuring and always trying new beers. While I was in the area on vacation I ventured over here and was incredibly happy that I did. The beers are solid but beyond that the atmosphere is killer, the bar tenders are fantastic and the experience is awesome. If you’re in the area, you’ve got to stop by

Probably one of the best breweries in Central Florida or even Florida itself. Nice variety and amazing NEIPA. Would motivate them to release different NEIPAs since they only have a few. I know they will taste amazing!!

This is my favorite brewery in the world. The staff is great, very attentive, and very nice. They are always down to explain the beers and give you samples. They also create some of the best sours Ive ever had, and being a sour lover this is a big plus. So sad that I had to move away from my favorite bar!!!

Some of the best craft beer Ive ever had. The bartender was so helpful in making recommendations. They dont have food but there are 2 restaurants beside (the taco place is open to the bar) and the pizza place is beside the taco place. They encourage you to order food there and eat inside or outside while enjoying their craft beer. They had all sorts of games which was a lot of fun. I wish this place was closer to my home because Id be a regular there for sure. Good beer, well priced, great staff and a great atmosphere. I highly recommend this place

Im only holding off on the 5 star until I try more of their lineup. But the port barrel aged imperial Stout was amazing, and the double NEIPA was excellent. Atmosphere is cool, but maybe just a little loud for the lounge atmosphere they have with the couches and board games.Edit: came back and gave it 5 stars. Everything they make is delicious.

I have been coming to Hourglass since it first opened in a small building nearby. Hands down the best local brewery with a wide range of beer types on tap. The staff is always friendly and very knowledgeable. Pet and family friendly brewery that has something for everyone. Having two amazing restaurants in the same strip is a plus.

Best brewery in the area. Great selection and chill atmosphere most nights. I love just going here on a weekday to relax, drink and play video games. The weekends can get packed but the service is still top-notch. Connected to Wacko Taco so theres always a food option. Papa Bees next door has great wings. My only complaint would be the limited parking, but Im not sure theres much that can be done there.
