(Update: They wont stop hassling me for the final payment even thought the project isnt completed)New update: I left a message with corporate 10days ago and was reassured I would hear back from a manager by the next business day. Nobody has called me back and it’s been 10daysWhere do I even begin to explain the worst, most unreliable service I have ever had in my entire life? The date of this review is Oct 21; my project is STILL not completed and it was started in June 6- which was a last minute no show reschedule from May.1. Promises, promises, promises and not coming through. Promises on the delivery of service, on when a tech would show, on when a repair person would show and yet still havent had the door completed.2. Poor customer service. E-mail back and forth, then I wont hear anything for about 2 weeks, then a random email back, then silence. I call the Orlando customer service and somehow HE started yelling at ME that he was too stressed out and too busy to get back to each customer and if I didnt continue to follow up and keep pushing for my project to be completed that nothing would get done. Needless to say, I’ll respond to an email, I don’t hear anything back and then I have to follow up with them.3. Install day; late last minute reschedule from May. Then we rescheduled to June. They were supposed to be at my house 8am; I called around 11am, got excuses on why nobody was there, then they show up. What a joke. Very unprofessional install team, made a mess, complained it was taking long and late in the day, never mind the state they left my guest toilet in.4.Every time they set an appointment, I agree and say we wont be home; they say its fine; tech shows up and leaves a note, couldnt do it, owner not at home. Now the most recent email was setting up a date and time for an appointment, I said I wouldnt be home, usually they say its no problem and they set the appointment anyway. Didnt hear anything back. I email them and was told I said I was out of town???? Nowhere in the email does it say that. Oh, did I mention this appointment was to REPAIR the tear they put in the weather strip during the install?5. The contract was 50% down and final payment at completion of the project. They are now trying to get me to make the final payment now, but the project isnt completed!!! And emailing me that my account is past due.The things that are not completed- very visible screw holes in the frame (they had to be left open for the city inspector, that just happened. While waiting for the inspection, we had to keep these large red tags on the windows for the inspector; and no, it wasnt the inspector that delayed, it was Pella that delayed in setting up the appointment). The stucco around my frame was damaged during the install, no worries because part of the contract was that needs to be repaired. Still not done. Air is leaking under the door- they need to seal it up correctly.6. Allegedly a manager is involved in my case, but I have yet to hear one word or confirmation from the manager- and this was after requesting that a manager be involved. In conclusion, I would never ever use this company EVER again! Do NOT waste your time OR money. We got an extremely expensive double door that they have yet to complete the project on. now almost 5 months later. I see other reviews that also mention that the installation process took months to complete. I’m starting to believe this won’t get resolved before 2022.
We have had nothing but horrible experiences with the service department after our front door was installed. We chose Pella because of their nationwide reputation, but after purchasing a premium solid wood front door last year ($10,000+), it has been unusable for the past four months. The wood has expanded in the heat, and the center astragal between the panels has split which resulted in the door panels wedging together making them inoperable. We have had to let guests in through the garage because it is often impossible to get the door shut and locked after forcing it open. Our dog escaped one day because we weren’t able to get the door fully latched when closing it, and the door popped open on its own hours later. It took them two months to receive the part to fix the door, and when they arrived to install it they had forgotten to paint it. It took another month for them to paint it and reschedule the repair, and they called the day before to say they had lost the part and would need to re-order it again. We had considered using Pella to replace our windows, but after this experience we decided to go with a local company that has had substantially better service, and we wished we had used them for the front door as well.
Very expensive and not worth the cost. Installation was a nightmare and took several months to complete. Then the first inspection failed, and Pella had to redo parts of the doors to pass inspection. After a few months trim pieces started to fall off the doors.Do not use Pella, cost is to high, bad customer service and not the quality for the money.
Drove all the way up from Colonialtown to find out that they are by appointment only on Saturday. It must’ve been a recent change because I had looked up the hours and they closed early on Saturday I had noted it on paper for me and my wife. So I didn’t know I had to come back and check the hours since now it’s appointment only. Well you just lost our business, congratulations. I hear New South Windows are Florida-based and high quality.
Trisha Eckoff, Retail Sales Consultant, provided outstanding service and an exceptional consultation. She is very customer focused and loyal company employee. She knows her products well and recognized that we had previously installed Pella windows and knew the model numbers of each type window (impressive). She walked us through the entrance door product line and optional items, helped us design it, and in the end we decided to purchase a new entry door and sidelight. Yes, we could of continued to shop around; however, because of Trisha’s professionalism, courtesy, and knowledge, we decided to proceed to the next step and purchased our new entry door.
Quality. Comfort. Peace of Mind.Thank you Pella for replacing all of our windows and doors over the past 8 1/2 years. This project consisted of 19 openings and seven phases. These beautiful and stylish windows and doors add significant value to our home and allow us to maintain a comfortable inside temperature.Fifteen openings were replaced with Pella Impervia windows/doors (two of these are sliders), two with Pella 350 vinyl sliders, and two with Pella fiberglass entry doors. All of these windows and doors meet energy-efficiency standards, and they significantly reduce exterior noise. They came with lifetime (limited) product warranties, and the most recent phases came with ten-year labor warranties as well. With our frequent tropical storms and hurricanes, it gives us great peace of mind knowing that every opening in our home now meets the local Florida wind code standard of 150 MPH.Our Sales Consultant, Dave Osborne, is so remarkable that we feel confident recommending him to future customers so that your experience will be smooth and successful, too! Thanks again Dave and Pella for taking such good care of us.
For years I have recieved mail about this company, I call to order a window and Install it myself, They have to come out do their own checking. I just want to purchase a window and install it myself.
Pella representative Trisha was truly exceptional. From her friendly greeting when she first arrived, to her sharp expertise in explaining the product and window installation process. Even when I had questions after the appointment, Trisha got back to me in a timely manner. Very professional, and I would recommend Pella and Trisha....they go together well!
We had new sliding doors installed and everyone was fantastic. Covid-19 caused several delays and everyone kept me up to date and apologized for something they had no control over. After a while I told them to stop apologizing as they were doing all they could with what they had. Once it was installed it was a beautiful door in person! The installers Jack and Lisa were perfect, taking care of our home while installing. After the install, office staff Kayla and Shana helped clear out remaining paperwork for inspection with county. Amazing all around. Everyone professional and friendly. Next are the windows 😊
Trish came out to my new condo, measured, and worked with me on a price. I am getting my windows in March. I can,t wait. Trish has been great helping me get my condo in living order. Anyone who uses her to get their windows in order would be a smart and satisfied customer. I am. She,s great,,
Salesman Andrew Hobbs: on time, polite, and professional gentleman. Educated us on the windows and process of installation, outlined all necessary information in respect to entire process.
The design rep was very knowledgeable and competent. She was thorough in evaluating what the best approach was to solving our patio door replacement project. She was pleasant to work with and was a great source of information on window treatments to consider once the project is completeld.
This is a great quality door. Our sales rep Trisha was extremely helpful and knowlegeable in explaining the different sliding doors to select from. We are extremely happy with our purchase and how everything was handled from beginning until the project being completed.
Pella has been fantastic. I worked with Jerry then Trisha and they have been excellent. I had three separate jobs done. The first replaced all windows and sliding glass doors in the whole house. The quality is excellent. The second enclosed my patio with French sliding doors and sliders. Just beautiful. Last we are replacing a door and window which I should have included originally. The reason I chose Pella was that they actually will do the install and get the permits for you. I looked at Anderson and they are excellent as well. However you have to get a contractor to install it. In Pellas case everything from the product to the install is guaranteed by them. I only call one company. I just did not want to deal with separate installers.Dont mean to be rude. However, I see someone complaining about Pella not being open. I know it has been tough getting in touch with them at times. I was frustrated many times as well. But they are dealing with Covid and short staffed just like other firms who are trying to adjust to Covid. Driving 15 mins (5 miles) away and complaining they are not open and giving them a one star in very unfair. At least use them and then complain.
Never responded to me.... apparently they have too much money
The decision to purchase windows for your home is one not to be taken lightly. It requires finding the right company with the Right product and a company that will deliver. Pella windows of Longwood exceeded those requirements. The sales person, Kyle was such a knowledgeable and pleasant person to deal with. I was always understood as what my customer needs were. I did quite the research before coming to this company. Their guarantees are the best for peace of mind. By other companies I was given different brands and was overwhelmed with decisions that ultimately would affect my outcome. Let me say that for the value and the product, I am confident my decision for choosing Pella Longwood was correct. I will continue to highly recommend them. Thank you Pella for making my home nicer !
After getting 4 quotes from different companies, we elected to go with Pella. Our sales rep, JR Brasil, gave a great presentation and we have been delighted with his follow up and follow thru the whole process of the installation. Everyone at Pella, from JR to the scheduler to the installation team. We are delighted with the quality and functionality of the windows. Glad we chose Pella!
I am very happy with the windows the service JR provided so far but the customer service is definitely nothing to write home about. I have been waiting for over a month to have a simple request fulfilled. I have contacted numerous people and no one ever does what they say. Very frustrated.EDIT: JR reached out to me and made things right.
We are so happy with our recent pella window and sliding doors installation. The product is beautiful and install was as seamless as it can be for replacing windows. Our sales consultant Tricia Eckloff was incredible and I would highly recommend her as she is incredibly knowledgeable. Highly recommend Pella!
The excellence of one mans customer service reflects well on Pella Windows. I used to work for a NY Pella franchise. During that time I have never seen such dedication that JR Brasil has shown to me and he was not even my salesman! My salesman left the company putting me in an odd place - needing someone to look after me, answer questions, follow-up on some details, offer me advice and direction, but not having anyone to go to. My pastor gave me JR Brasils name, stating how very satisfied he was with JRs service. (My pastor used to be in the construction business, so he has a good understanding as to what should be done in window installation. If he was impressed, I knew I was going to be impressed.) I called on JR (also with a construction background) with my list of questions which he answered with great care and then promised to adopt me as his own customer.I had to call on him again with one major problem - my city inspector refused to inspect the job citing COVID-19 reasons; he (the inspector) suggested I inspect them myself. (What do I know about window installation?) JR Brasil donned his superhero cape and came to my rescue. He inspected every window as to functionality and every screw entry point and confirmed that all the work was done well and to specification and code.JR Brasil gets my personal recommendation because he took the time to listen intently to questions, offered professional advice and did the work my own city inspector would not do. I knew Pellas brand and their quality products, but now I can testify that JR Brasil is the one to call on from start to finish! From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU, JR! I cant wait to refer business to you.
White glove service from start to finish!!! Trust me, I’m a tough customer and expect high levels of service and was just waiting to be let down somewhere in the process. Every person who interacted with me - either on the phone or in person - has provided stellar service. The initial appointment scheduler, the sales person, the project manager securing the permits, and the install team were shining representatives of this company. The sales guy (Corey Brooks) showed up on time with all the right equipment to efficiently finalize the transaction and was super knowledgeable and showed pride in the product and company he represented. Tom Game has all the permitting documents delivered in advance in a well organized format. Finally, the install team of Klayton McKee and his team of James and Moe were meticulous in detail. I could hear parts of the conversation through the day of, “is it level”, “is it square”, “check the function”. They were so organized, efficient, productive and most importantly, polite!!! They took great pride in what they delivered and boy, did it show. Every bit of trash and old window remnant was hauled away. Finally, every window was cleaned and really left me with the most amazing feeling of pride for what I had purchased and the change and efficiency this was bringing to my home’s look and function. This purchase was a huge investment for me and I could not be a bit happier than I am at the close of this transaction. Thank you, Pella Windows and Doors, for being everything you promised you would be!!!
We scheduled a representative for a quote/product introduction. Corey arrived on time, was personable, good natured and knew his product. He was excellent with any and all questions. He patiently explained all aspects of the product, installation, cost and scheduling.I would want Corey on my team.Thank you Corey
We have been a long time customer with Pella. Just recently, we had an incident with our sliding doors that needed repair. When contacting local Pella office in Longwood, FL, we had a awful customer experience with Laura (sp?) . She was absolutely rude, curt and uncooperative when answering simple questions. If you want to be spoken down to and not respected call Laura (sp?) from Pella. Look for other companies before considering working with Pella from Longwood.
JR Brasil and Johnny s installation team did an awesome job. I was impressed by the quality of the product and was blown away by the professionalism provided by JR in sales presentations & step by step guidance through process to installation. Johnnys installation team did out of this world job. All of friends have compliment how great the windows and French doors look. Most of all my wife is happy, and you know happy wife happy life.
Love my new windows and sliding door! The manager I worked with once installation started went above and beyond to ensure I was completely satisfied with everything and personally cleaned windows and was very good at communicating with me throughout.
We are a PAST customer. Tried to use them again for doors and had to wait a week for an appointment, then NO CALL NO SHOW. Kevin Write was the sales rep and he would not return a call, no email, no text response, etc. I guess business is good, but when its not your customers dont forget that you didnt have time for them when they needed something but you were too busy to care.
They arrived when they said they would. Did an excellent job cleaning up when finished and the windows look great. We expect to see a dramatic difference in our electric bill this summer. We would highly recommend Pella.
Monica gave us great information about the different window tintings and features.
We replaced all eight windows in our home with Pella. From the sales call until the last bit of clean up I have to say this was an excellent experience.DAndre, the sales rep, was very thorough and provided an overview of the entire process.Tiffany, the Project Coordinator, kept us advised each step of the way. When I saw the finished windows come out of the trailer I was amazed and then when they fit so well, I was more amazed. The install crew were professional and yet friendly and very efficient. Before leaving they had us verify each window was just as we expected it to be and then they perform a good clean up from their work.Overall just an excellent experience.
Great top of the line windows. Expensive however great quality, great service. Save and save for thses excellent windows and doors.
Great company to work for
I had Pella in my home in Nebraska and they were great so when we moved to Florida to retire I wanted something similar. The process of replacing windows in a home you are living in is scary but the Pella team made us very comfortable. The installers took a few days longer than expected but it is only because they wanted everything to be perfect. They also had to come back several times but the end result is even better that expected. These windows and doors make such a dramatic difference in the look and feel of our home I highly recommend the Longwood Pella store!!!
We replaced all but 3 of our windows a couple of years ago with Pella (had a great experience) and when we learned that one of the newer ones we hadnt replaced was leaking, I knew exactly what I wanted. Called up our guy, quickly got a quote and replaced faster than Id expected. Very happy with them, and would highly recommend.
Nice product, but customer shouldnt have to beg for it.In late January, I visited the showroom to examine options for a new home being constructed. The person staffing the showroom said they were just filling the seat and could not provide any further information. I was asked to come back a few days later.A couple of days later, I stop in again and meet sales representative Monica Schlueter and explain my needs. On Feb 1, I emailed Monica the complete construction plans and required specifications for the windows I wanted. I asked that a proposal be worked up for the windows I needed. Feb 11 and I still hadnt heard from Pella, so I contacted Monica who said all the managers were in Pella training, so my proposal was backed up. She said she would contact Jacksonville to find out what the status of my quote was. As of March 8, I still have not heard back from Pella.I enjoyed the hands on experience of the Longwood Pella showroom and appreciate the quality of the Pella products, but total disregard for customer service at this point in the sales process will have me looking elsewhere.Doug C.
Excellent Service. JR is knowledgeable about the product he sells and services. He went out of his way this evening with details on how to approach my needs I felt all along that he had my best interest in mind as a customer and no upsale at all. I recommend JR without any hesitation. Actually today 02/01/2019 is the second purchase that I did with him. Go with JR and you will be pleased both with the product Pella and the service
Ive never been so disappointed in a company as i am now with pella. We ordered a sliding glass door through lowes from pella, and pella has now canceled the order 6 times the day, before it was due to be delivered. We have also had lowes call to make sure before every delivery date that it would arrive on time and still nothing. Lowes called pella every time i asked, and all 6 times pella said delivery date is correct, then all 6 times the day before the delivery date pell had to postpone the delivery for 2-3 weeks. today 2 days before the delivery date they canceled it again for another month!! If I could give them no stars I would!! I would find another company to get a sliding glass door from.
Had our Pella windows installed yesterday. the Pella crew, of Devon and Miguel (Mike) were amazing. They replace 9 windows without any damage to the drywall, stucco or window still. They were very knowledgeable, professional, efficient, clean and respectful. Their work is so clean I will not have to even use touch up paint.I was Skeptical of a Pella for there was some bad reviews, however Kyle Warmbeir our sale agent ensured us that Pella had hired all new crews and that they were very knowledgeable. Kyle was right!, they are a super great crew.Out of the 9 windows installed, 1 window has a problem with staying open and Devon assured me that some one will come out to fix it. Devon even left his personnel phone number encase there was a problem. Great product, amazing sales team and installation crews. Thank you Pella. For a great experience.
We have replaced every window and door in our Year 2000 built home that we purchased a couple of Yrs ago.. we replaced gradually.. all w Pella.. also ordered a triple sized custom window w invisible screens(new technology).. that was just installed recently. We LOVE this window and LIVE OUR NEW front door and sidelights!!! zzz CHANGES the entire place dramatically!! I have to say Jim W is the BEST for followup and has followed thru w any and all questions or slight issues we had.. a special thank you to Jim for all he did and also the office, Kayla, for the coordination and follow up .. to make everything just as we expected.. would definitely recommend PELLA!!
I am really happy with the windows. The crew who came out was super friendly and they worked FAST. Keep these guys on your short list
Our sales rep Kyle Warmbier is a very personable and kind person to work with. He is very knowledgeable of all of the Pella questions and financing which we were very impressed with. He went an extra mile with everything and he does it with a cheerful countenance.
John Stanley and Juan Gaballos are professionals next to none. Very detailed to their respective specialties. We are very satisfied with their work. Customer satisfaction is their number one goal.
We chose Pella because of their quality, guarantee and their excellent customer service. JR went above and beyond! He came by our house on the day of installation as well as after stucco repair, to ensure that the project was completed to satisfaction. We are more than satisfied with our windows as well as the Pella experience!
Pella management team is exceptional. There were some issues with the installation, but JR Brasil, the Replacement Sales Consultant, Melissa McKensie, Retail Project Coordinator, and one of their chief installers worked with me to correct the problems and to insure that we were completely satisfied. I was extremely pleased with their dedication in providing this superior service. Because of their extra effort, I would install Pella in the the rest of our home
The adage, “You get what you pay for!” comes to mind when I think about our experience with Pella-Longwood. The quality and selection of Pella windows/doors speaks for themselves, but our experience with the Longwood team was just as great and well deserving of a 5-star recommendation. My wife and I recently completed a multi-phase project that included replacing all of our windows (15 of various sizes/styles), sliding glass doors (5) and entry doors (2). From the beginning of the project to its completion last month (July), the Longwood team treated us with the utmost courtesy and professionalism. We had a sense early in the process that we were in good hands when we met our sales rep who worked us through the entire process with selections, options and pricing. Project management and installation were also fantastic!Bottom line, the service and support we received from the Longwood office was as stellar as our new Pella windows/doors. Before going to one of the box stores for new windows/doors (even if Pella products), contact the Pella professionals in Longwood for peace of mind and lifetime service/support. Remember, you get what you pay for!
Just completed the initial appointment with Pella rep Kyle Warmbier. Kyle really knows the product line and gave very valuable recommendations. No hard sell. This first step with Pella was a pleasant one which leads me to believe that the follow-on processes will also be professionally done. I highly recommend Pella windows and Kyle Warmbier.
Our actual windows installation has been ongoing for 3 months. There are still gaps between the wood and the walls too wide to be caulked, missing screens, etc. Now Pella repeatedly strings us along by setting appointments for me to stay home promising Pella will finish the work, but no one shows up. If I call, Im told, theyre on their way, but still no one ever arrives. This company is great for people who want windows that can’t pass inspection and enjoy having lots of their time wasted.
We just had 15 windows and 5 sliding doors installed by Pella. We were very satisfied with the entire process. JR did a great job throughout the entire process. He communicated very well and took care of all concerns from pre sales to installation. We had some very challenging Window locations and post install stucco work needed. I’m very particular and JR made sure everything was done as we discussed. The installation crew and post install stucco crew were very professional. It was a 4 day install job and they finished what they started each day before leaving. JR got the right people here to do the job as we agreed upon and we couldn’t be happier with the results!
October 2013, I purchased a triple slider and a double front door from Pella. It was a big install that took all day (greater than 8 hours). The detail work was not finished, and silly me, I thought they’d be back the next day. Framing very loose and not secured, grout needed to be replaced, thresholds loose, and the wrong color etc. It took multiple emails back and forth to the Longwood office, sent pictures, multiple telephone conversations. I sent an email to corporate and months later the job was complete.Fast forward to now, five years later. I do like my doors, not the install, so I arranged for another estimate for another slider. The sales rep came out. I did tell him about my previous bad experience but was willing to give Pella another try. He assured me the office had changed and my experience would be a good one. Well, my appointment was six days ago, and I still do not have a written estimate that I was assured would arrive via email that night. The following Monday after my appointment I received a customer satisfaction survey and have not heard back. I thought I would it since it was not a good review.Unfortunately, I will not be using Pella and do not recommend them. Five years later the customer service remains poor.
Pella really impressed me with the level of care they took in addressing my concerns. The windows took longer than expected to arrive but well worth the wait! I highly recommend Pella for your window replacement needs.
What an absolutely great window. We were overwhelmed with the options and I am so glad we chose Pella. Our sales representative was very good at listening to what we needed and the installers were also very professional. The shining star of the purchase was the project coordinator Tiffany. I would definantly recommend Pella for replacement windows and doors!!
Exlcellent job.
I ordered 27 windows and 3 patio doors from Pella. My sales rep was awesome. The windows took a while to arrive but when the job was completed it was so worth it. My home feels so different and is so much more comfortable now. One thing we did not expect was the reduced sound!! Thank you Pella, we love our new windows!!!
Rod and his team over at Longwood Windows & Doors helped replace the windows in our rental in Longwood, and we couldnt be happier. He installed vinyl windows from Simonton, and the windows are so much better than we previously had. I would recommend Rod and his team for window installations in Longwood and the surround areas. Thanks guys!
Klayton and his team were nothing short of professional. I will definitely be hiring them again. Highly recommend them. I am beyond happy!
Paella windows are the best window. Quick response. Sale Reps are very knowledgeable
JR did a wonderful job presenting the product and providing details related to installation and financing. Made the window shopping(no pun intended) a nice experience.
Seriously do not use this company. Very expensive and disorganized! We bought 42 high end windows and they sent one guy and his young son to remove all windows, install new ones and do trim work! What a joke! 2 people for 42 windows!!?? I was 8 months pregnant, the installers left broken glass all around my yard and inside my house! I found broken glass in a drawer of my changing table. Why was that even opened!!?? I had to constantly go behind them and clean up. We called and complained so much but got very little response. Finally had to demand a new set of installers come in. Pella also failed to find out exactly what the city of winter springs wanted in an inspection. I had to push for winter springs inspection to come out..Pella assured me over and over the inspector was supposed to come out in the end.. I called and scheduled an inspection on my own bc I wasn’t sure if they were installed correctly. When inspector came... after the installers put about 40% of trim work up.. inspector said it needed to be inspected before trim work.. so they had to rip all the trim work off!!! I would NEVER ever refer them!!
Everyone was extremely knowledgeable from the Sales Rep to the Installers. Even the County Inspector made mention that they really knew what they were doing and was impressed with the completed job. Looking forward to the impact on my energy bill!
The worst experience ever! I will never recommend Pella! From start to finish it has been nothing but a headache, bad customer service, and crappy installers. They use sub-contractors for EVERYTHING. And customer service? Forget about that, it doesnt exist there. Every time I call I usually talk to a Melissa and she always so RUDE! Its gotten to the point that when I call to talk to someone and she answers, I hang up and call back until I get someone else. Kayla is pleasant, but never returns calls. They arent reliable at all! RUN AWAY FAST FROM THIS COMPANY
Customer Service never gets back to anyone promptly. Very long wait time for service. Takes them 4-8 weeks to get products in stock.Edited response- Our corporate office chose to do business with Pella in 2006, and I have had to deal with this particular Pella store for going on 8 years now. My first review 5 years ago, is an understatement to the type of service we have continued to receive from Pella still. Not mentioning any names regarding awful service, but if a call service technician refuses to transfer a call to another representative and refuses to even pass along a message to another representative, they have serious training issues on how to deal with customers. If a call service technician says I cannot look up your orders because you have so many orders with us they have a serious computer data and service issues. If a call service technician says, they will have a item by a certain date, and 4-8 weeks goes by without a call or email, then they have supply/chain issues. If an automated email message says a response will be sent within 2 business days, and weeks go by without a response, they have a serious response time issue in dealing with customers. Especially being a customer that has spent hundreds of thousands of dollars with Pella, we expect at least some respect during phone conversations and regular business dealings. But we rarely received that, except from a gentleman Mr. J. Rid. But apparently, Mr. J. Rid. is no longer with the company, which is a travesty because he was an asset to their company. It would make sense that they would no longer employ or retain good assets because their management has serious issues that need to be dealt with promptly and professionally. Unfortunate for Pella, our corporate office and I have finally decided to go with another window supplier. Their loss.
We replaced all of our windows and doors with Pella, our sales rep was very patient and professional and the install crew was also very professional. We have never had anything like this done before and they made us very comfortable through the entire process! I highly recommend Pella!
JR is awesome along the whole process. It well worth the wait and money.
Our answer to the owner- Your sale person contacted your GM multiples times for a better price and He said NO, basically your sales person told us to move forward using LOWES ( 30% less than your company for the same Pella windows) creating doubts and fears surrounding the installation of the windows if we choose Lowes.Pella window will be our only option, since we believe is the best product out there for your return of investment, However you can get the same window through LOWES for 20-30% less ($) this store is private own/Franchise and they raise prices without any mercy we compare both prices with installation and Lowes offer us almost 30% less, and for that matter LOWES will be our PELLA dealer/Installer
Good windows, but service is the worst. If the review was for the Pella windows it would be a five star review. The installation and customer service are among the worst Ive ever had to deal with. Over two months since this company installed the windows on our house and the job is still unfinished. We have large gaps around some of the windows, missing screens that they ordered the wrong size for and having to deal with a company that tries to blame us for their scheduling mess ups. Let me clarify, they called to confirm a time to come finish, we agreed, they didnt show up and said when we complained that we hadnt confirmed. The next time we did it by email, confirmed the appt. received an email verifying our confirmation, then once again were told that they didnt show up because we didnt confirm, we forwarded their own email thanking us for confirming so they said theyd be here the next day after noon. No show yet again. April 26th to July 16th and still unfinished incomplete work with no effort on their part to make it right.*** 8/9/19 We responded to the address given in the response to this review weeks ago, and still no response. Our window installation is still incomplete.
I’ve now ordered windows for several of my homes with JR.... he has come out, measured and completed my orders efficiently. If your looking for a quality window.... with service to match... Call JR at the Pella location on 434 on Longwood FL .... you won’t be disappointed!!!!!!Joe and Ha in Apopka FL
Have had terrible experience with this location. Ive built a house from scratch and totally remodeled a house, but getting window replacements from these guys has been by far the worst experience I have ever had with a subcontractor. We originally ordered replacement windows in June of 2016, they werent installed until August. They then failed the local inspection which took another 6+ weeks to resolve. Now I am sitting in January of 2017 and they have never done any finish work on the windows (naked screws are still visible no touch up around the sliders or replacement windows). I asked the last contractor about touch ups and he told me I had to call the store. We have called and left messages multiple times and have been promised a call back, but never received one. I still have old windows and installation boxes sitting in my garage from almost a year ago that we were told would be removed.Terrible customer service, non-responsive to messages, and have had a different contractor every time they have come to our house (though its been months since the last date).Ill be using another window company in the future. Had great experiences with PGT in the past and would recommend them from now on.
We had our windows and doors replaced by Pella. We are very pleased with the results. Thank you!
I want to thank J.R. for the great service on our front door and two patio doors. Our front door came out beautiful and have had many friends and neighbors love it . The team that put them in did excellent job! This is the second time using pella they did our windows 2 years ago.... pella has great products and service and been around for many years, the name is well known.... Thanks again J.R. Alice Perry
Your Sales Rep J.R. is the best. He went above and beyond.
On 12.27.18 Pella Windows & Doors installed our brand new Front Door. Two installers showed up to my house with a kid (8 or 9 years old) they had him waiting in their truck in a very hot day l told him to please bring the kid inside and the kid stayed in the rest of the installation. First of all its very Unprofessional to bring a kid to an installation and leave it in their truck. At the moment they put the new door l noticed the top trim was all scratched, when l pointed it to the installer he got upset and got an attitude, l told him this was not a cheap door (it cost us $6,990.00) so it shouldnt it be damaged. They touched up the scratches and they ordered me a new trim but the installer (the kids dad) was still upset. They finished very quick and they left without explaining to me the mechanism of the door handle knob. They left the door very hard to close and lock. In order to lock it and close the door you needed to slam it hard. Also when they pulled the old door they damaged the drywall beside the area. The next day Jim Woodford came to my house and explained to me the mechanism of the door handle also wrote down all the issues pending to be fixed including fixing the drywall and painting the area damaged.I waited for them three months to schedule to fix the issues, l was calling them to remind them to schedule the repairs and everytime l called they say they were not aware of any issues, on 3-6-19 they scheduled a follow up appointment and John Stanley showed up to my house with the wrong color of the trim and without the strip for the bottom area of the door and the painter was a no show.Tiffany from the office called me and apologized for making me wasting my time and stated will call me back to schedule another follow up.The other follow up was scheduled for 3-22-19 by Tiffany to fix all the issues including the painter. On 3-22-19 John Stanley showed up and he brought the right color of trims and he replaced the THREE interior casing (trims) that were put also in the wrong color and damaged, also put caulking in the front step that the installer forgot to caulk and when it rained the water was leaking in. Also fixed the door handle knob that was not installed properly and it was in the floor everytime the door were closed. Also fixed the wood stepping that was lose and ordered another null trim that were put cracked.John left and stated the painter should come soon and left. I waited and the painter was another NO SHOW. l called the office and the representative stated he was not aware the painter was scheduled. I asked Tiffany to called me back and when she called back she denied that the painter was scheduled and got an attitude. l told her that John Stanley was also under the impression the painter was going to my house today and she kept denying it.I felt very ofended by Tiffanys actions, she called me and scheduled the appointment and then because the painter didnt show up for the 2nd time she denied it was ever scheduled. How can two people make up the painter scheduling? In my opinion this lady Tiffany not admitting an error or a mistake or apologizing for their messup in their schedule its disgraceful and humiliating and does not represent the best interest of a company. So far (not even a year old) l still have issues with the front door (bottom of the door separating, door rubbing when it closes, door handle knob keeps getting loose etc.)It is not fair, we paid all that money $6,990.00 for a front door and we keep having so many issues with the door.Pella Windows and Doors should not charge that high price for ONE front door if the quality of the door is going to be poor.Even though their warranty is seven years its overwhelming having so many issues at this early stage of the purchase. Its not worth the agravation, the waiting, the no shows, the poor quality of the door, the disrespect from employees for all the MONEY we paid for.I wish l could have my old door back.
I had a previous experience when i replaced all windows and sliding doors in my previous house -- other than the sales rep trying to up charge with for services I did not need - i.e. stucco repair, etc. The experience was good. This time I am only replacing a patio pocket door and this has been the absolute worse experience. They cancelled appts twice with a no notice other than a few minutes before they arrived - both times I had taken the day off and lost wages as I am commissioned employee. The current doors installed do not meet County Code so they are suppose to be replacing them. The first installation they left a horrible mess on my lanai, damage lanai furniture, did not cover my brand new furniture while working, cut into my brand new trim molding --- 3 months later I still have doors that do not meet the County codes --- they do not lock all the time and installation and trim around the doors are still not repaired. I am appalled at their lack of customer service this time around. Absolutely the worst I have experienced. I am about to send photos and a letter to the CEO, BBB and any other place that allows reviews.I would say --- run the other way -- the aggravation is not worth the quality of product that they offer! Never again!I guess if the replacement doors are not done by the time the permit is ready to expire I will let them deal with the County!!
The worst business deal of my life! After so many trips with the wrong size, one guy showed up and said he finally got it. Here I am chasing reptiles out of the room where the window was replaced. Now, Im gonna have to find another company to get a new window. Thank you Pella windows for ruining my Florida experience.
After dealing with multiple window organizations and not being entirely comfortable with the products/companies, that all changed when we stopped by the Pella showroom (Longwood). Within a couple days, the Pella consultant JR Brasil visited our home to review the products and our needs. We were so pleased to select the Pella Impervia Fiberglass windows, as it was exactly what we were looking for. We wanted to keep the integrity of our homes appearance and found they were the best choice. Our Sales Consultant JR provided outstanding service. Not only was he honest, he was knowledgeable and provided us with the best possible choices that would serve our needs. I think JRs title is Sales Consultant, but we never felt like we were working with a salesman or any sales tactics. The windows are excellent quality and the installation process was above and beyond my expectations. The staff at the Pella facility were also excellent and professional, working to accommodate our preferred scheduling, during this rainy stormy summer.I Highly recommend Pella Windows and Doors.
I used to work for that company, we never cared for these customers, nobody does. give me your money for the time we killed at your house,no inspector, everything free hand, they dont care for your house make amess as long the window is install thats the customers problems
Absolutely the worse experience we have ever had doing home improvements in over 50 years. Here it is almost a year and a half and the job is still a disastrous mess. The salesman is a lied to us about almost everything. I was careful to ask if the Pella store (Orlando) was an independant dealer or a factory owned stote. He told me it was a factory store. Wrong! I asked if they had their own in-house installers and he said yes, but sometimes they use sub-contractors, however they wouldn’t use sub-contractors on the window and door modele we chose. Lie! They only use outside installers. When the windows and doors arroved they sent a sub-contractor who admittingly had neber installed or even seen these types of windows and had never replaced windows in a block stucco home. After a week of screwing up my house they sent a different crew who slopped them in totally without regard for the engineering requirements for this rated product.Fact is all the wondows and doors were measured small to be quickly installed with minimum labor. They are too small for the openings and are improperly secured. They leak and have caused water damage to my interior walls. I could go on and on, but it’s now in the attorney’s hands. They refuse to armit the problems even though the city inspector rejected the job and I’ve provided photos of the work from start to finish. This was a to be complete updrade that ended up being a home downgrade at great expense in time, money and aggrivation. The home value has to be affected as their terrible work must be noted on a disclosure statement. Who would buy a home in this confition?Lies, lies, lies and now we have a defective home!
DO NOT BUY PELLA!!!!!!!Pella is not the quality company they once may have been. You will get ZERO support in installing their products.I have had major quality issues with the doors, and because I bought them from Lowes, Pella will not support them. And Lowes doesnt have anyone that can install them. (They should NOT sell them if they cant support them in this channel).1. They shipped doors without any of the install parts or install manuals.2. It too 2 months of going back and forth to finally get all the parts from Pella corporate. Lowes had no clue what to do.(After considerable complaining, Pella did refund me some money to compensate for the 2 months of pain and troubles).3. My $14000 hurricane sliding doors are incredibly complex to install. They come with literally 50 parts per door.4. We struggled to find anyone would will install them. (Lowes has ZERO contractors to recommend). Pella only has a single manual. No videos, no pictures of installed doors, nothing to help.5. We keep sending pictures to them to see if things are right or not. Only to discover more quality problems with the product.6. I escalate to supervisors / managers but they dont call back.I bought them in May - and as of November still dont believe they are installed right. I have had 3 contractors look at them.Save yourself pain and suffering. DO NOT BUY PELLA!!!!!
At first I was very upset because I had the best Windows but the White Clad paneling On one of the doors was deteriorating. I tried contacting Pella Longwood ( where I bought them) With absolutely no results. After a stroke and many years of healing,August of 2015 (over 7 years later) I was driving by the Pella facility in Longwood. I stopped in and explained to the lady at the counter my issue. She sent 2 very competent Gentleman out to asses the issue. after being told the doors are under warranty but not the labor, I met with Rob Sydnes. Although I was very upset and not happy, He listened and explained to me that his company took over the Longwood office in 2010. and even though the issue was actually with the old company that ran the longwood office he stepped up and had my door replaced! Parts and Labor were taken care of! WOW what Professional top notch customer service! Rob is a man that believes in Customer service. PELLA Made it right! Rob made it happen. Thank you Rob, its people like you that make Pella a company that I would recommend and us again when I need windows.
Great product and outstanding service. Thank you!!
Great company, great experience, highly recommend Pella Windows!
Pella window experience has been the worst, words are hard to describe this company. Seems everyone has been trained to completely ignore and not even acknowledge the issues you are having with warranty dept. and scheduling anything that looks like service. They must be so accustomed to pissed off customers they dont even ask what happened when you finally get someone on the phone. 6 months so far trying to get a couple of sashes repaired and screens ordered. Everything takes 6-8 weeks, then they tell you service tech will be out in 9 weeks, thats the soonest they can schedule someone?? BTW, you have to pay for someone to come out and write up what is under warranty, then pay for labor to install what is under warranty. Nobody in this company has called me, except to get my CC number. no apologies, no explanation.5/9/2016 update: ordered 3 screens and prepaid. 6 weeks latter they get delivered to showroom 300 miles away, awsome. Can we send to showroom in my town for pick up? sure we can. two weeks latter still nothing......5/17/2016 update: so pella Jax promised to send screens to Longwood center no later than 5/11/2016, and to call me promptly when they arrive. You guessed it... no call, no show. so I stop what im doing and call Longwood today, ....sorry we lost your screens, we will reorder them ( 6-8 weeks because they are hand made?)..
Terrible customer service - never, never will I buy Pella again. Stick with Anderson, and dont be sorry !
Company bad, DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM UNLESS YOU WANNA GET ROBBED. dont I didnt warn u
The installers are thief. they make copy of your locks keys.
