Good work just get everything in writing to avoid misunderstanding, stuck with some parts that I have no use for.

Getting engine rebuilt here. According to Google ratings and private businesses opinions, this is THE place to have an engine rebuilt! I visited with Chris and talked about my engine. He seems to be interested in helping me and know that he will being doing professional work to get my classic engine spinning like a top in no time. His work area, for the most part is clean and orderly, which is a good indicator on how he conducts business. Will give an update after the rebuild and engine swap!

Chris rebuilt my Chevy big block engine for a specific application. He had many suggestions for this build and the engine turned out great. I can honestly write this review in high regards for Chris and his team considering the 4 times I have been to this machine shop in the past 3 years they have NEVER let me down. Chris is a stand up guy, his work is second to none, his prices are phenomenal, and he does what he says he will do.These guys are the best. I have never rushed them on any of my projects/visits so I recommend giving them ample time to work their magic!

Went to Maximum Machine Works to get block, rods, and piston rings specd for proper clearances. They torqued down all main caps and rod caps to extreme pressures. I know they couldnt get proper clearance numbers and it took air tools to break the bolts free. Warped one of my main caps. Couldnt trust them to gauge accurate diameters. Had to take elsewhere to get proper readings. Find someone else for your motor work.

They do good work on all the jobs I send them. Everyone I talk to is extremely knowledgeable and they are one of the few shops that know how to work on Volvos.

I called Maximum Machine Works first because they were close and had the most reviews. If you need work done, I highly recommend you give them a call. I didnt know what to expect, since this was my first time bringing something to a machine shop that I needed resurfaced. This man has really set the bar high and I will definitely be bringing any other machining work moving forward here. I brought him something small that really just needed to be checked for flatness and was truely blessed to have taken it here. Genuine, good hearted people are hard to find and Im grateful for finding one that I can confidently bring any job big or small too, with the peace of mind that it is in good hands.
