Do not have your jewelry repaired or sized at Kay jewelers!!!!! I have worn my 1carat diamond heart engagement ring for almost 2 years with no issues. I paid almost 300$ to get my wedding band saudered and the white gold rhodium dipped . I have not worn the ring- I put it on 2 weeks before the ceremony and the entire heart diamond was loose and came out. I searched for it for hours its a miracle I found it. I went to Elyria jewelry repair- I was told hundreds of Kay jewelers customers come in with the extact same story. I was told I could have had them saudered and rhodium dipped for around 100$They needed to replace the prong header and add a prong to secure it better. They only charged me 213$ and are polishing my fiance s band. All in a rush before my wedding. They saved the day

I had a custom ring made from my wedding ring and 3 days later the center Diamond broke off and is gone. It is the only thing I have left for my husband who died last December. I will never ever ever go back to Kay Jewelers and I do not recommend anyone ever go there thats the poorest workmanship Ive ever seen in my life. I wish I would have looked up the horror stories of Kay Jewelers before I walked in that door.

Went to get my wifes ring cleaned and inspected and they wouldnt clean it. They said it was because of COVID but they were more than happy to sell me their ring cleaner so I could do it myself. They couldnt even give me a reason why other than COVID. I dont understand it and it seems like a way to make more money off of people especially when I already paid for the cleaning and inspection when I bought the warranty.

That chain closed and I had no idea where she went. After having my ring in the Jared jewelers in North Olmsted I needed it fixed after they rhodium plated it poorly. I went into Lorain Kay jewelers I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly and very helpful staff! My ring came back PERFECT! After having my baby I needed it sized and wanted it sized immediately, made the mistake of going back to Jared and had my one wedding ring shaved down so thin that I wouldnt ever be able to have them not soldered. I went straight to Kays and they sent it to another jeweler and it came back in 2 weeks, right when they said it would, and it was yet again PERFECT! Cant say enough about the staff there and the great management they are under!

They were so friendly and helpful! Found us a beautiful engagement ring within our budget and we couldn’t be happier with the service we received!

My dad went here for Christmas, like he does every year for my mom, they had a special so he got my sister and I rings. The woman took it out and wrapped it and sent it home with my dad. He shipped it to me, I opened it on Christmas and one of the diamonds was missing. I live in Las Vegas so when my mom came out in February she took it back with her and when they tried to take it back to exchange or get it fixed they said they werent honoring it because it had been more than a month and because it couldve been damaged once it left the store...but the employee wrapped it at the store, handed it to my dad then my dad immediately shipped it. He has spent thousands upon thousands here over the last 2 decades and he said he will never come here again.

Im not big on jewelry stores, but this one is d@mn nice.

Poor customer service. Spend a lot of money and then you mess up multiple times, lie, and refuse to correct a situation? Not a great way to run a business. Let’s hope this review doesn’t disappear.
