I found the team at Marine Evolutions professional, knowledgeable, and very helpful. They addressed my boat and trailer needs relatively quickly given supply and parts constraints. I will definitely be returning when required!
This is now my go to shop. From the first phone call all the way through the service process, the team was extremely helpful in providing clear suggestions, explanations and updates. So easy to work with. I appreciate their ability to diagnose a few stubborn issues I was having with my boat and deliver on solutions. Marine Evolutions certainly has my vote of approval.
Great service, great team. They were able to get us in and taken care of to get us ready for the season in a short period of time. Very reasonable prices and quality customer service. Seeing the amount of boats in the yard scheduled for maint and service looks like others trust this team as well! Will seek them first to do business with again!
This place is laughable. Didnt show up, didnt call, wouldnt give a reschedule time beyond Wednesday, Thursday or Friday . Wasted a whole day trying to do business with them. Wont get another chance.
The best workshop on the East Coast
Jeff Eads takes good care of his customers.
If I could give them zero Stars I would all I can tell you is theyre extremely unprofessional very negligent and they do not stand behind their work. A intentionally dishonest and disorganized service business or lack thereof I should say.
Super friendly guys out there, great customer service! The cost and work met my expectations.
Great shop, kept me posted on the repair, fair price.
Marine Evolutions is one of the best experiences with a local business Ive had in the DC area since recently moving here. I came in looking for maintenance items and Tony, their Yamaha Tech, was helpful and friendly and saved me time and money. I asked for advice and recommendations on some maintenance items and he didnt try to sell me things I didnt need. Completely honest and knowledgeable business based on my experience and I would recommend them to any boat owner. They have a great facility too. It appears they can do just about anything to a boat engine there.
My first time using Marine Evolutions and I will look no further for a shop. Great service and communication. Highly recommend
These guys are great. Tim and Tony called me the other day and said we are in the neighborhood of your marina and wanted to see if I needed them to stop by and fix anything. I was not even in town and he went over to my boat at belle haven and installed a new ignition device and key. Very reasonable on pricing as well.
Excellent customer service. Marine Evolutions are the best boat mechanics in the area. Toney clearly knows the intricacies about Yamaha outboards that a picky boat owner wants to hear. This is the only place I trust to work my boat.
Good riddance to rip offs like Marine Evolutions.I have an older more modest boat like many and got decent service for a decent price from Doug at Alexandria MarineWhat I got from this outfit was an $810 bill and nearly 3 percent credit card charge which I wasn’t informed before I arrived (are these charges legit? I wonder what Visa would think?)Not only that but I brought my boat in on June 1, then after 10 days I didn’t hear from them I called and was told they had not triaged my boat and couldn’t give me an estimate. About one month later I get a call saying my boat was ready (no estimate too) and an invoice was send with parts costing less than $30 dollars(for spark plugs, fuel filter, sierra kit) and a whopping $780 in labor charges!I don’t know about you but at $135 hour I expect quicker, more knowledgeable service to quickly address the problem(s)If you got and older boat and you’re not made of money I suggest you take your boat somewhere else — hopefully to somewhere it does not take half the summer to fix it!
Did not return phone calls or emails. 20 hour service on an outboard motor cost doubled what they quoted me at even though there were zero issues.
Tim was great. Very friendly staff and took the time to show me and explain everything on the outboard. Excellent customer service.
Have always been helpful and have always backed work up very fast turn around they will even give you there phone number to call even if closed top notch
We got our hydraulic steering assembly and hot foot pedal installed here for our bass boat. Both installations seem to have been done very cleanly and on time.
Too expensive and they hold your stuff for to long so you have to pay more.
Very friendly staff, Tim and Tony took the time to show me and explain everything on the outboard. Turns out i had major engine damage, they got it covered under my extened warrarty, No questions ask. I have never been to a marina that ask me when my next tournament was. (how soon i needed my boat back) It was always drop it off and we will look at it in 4 to 5 weeks. I was back on the water in no time. Excellent customer service. Many thanks Tim. Theyre very professional and straightforward about wait time and pricing. I wouldnt take my boat anywhere else.
At first i liked this shop, but when i went to de-winterize my boat, i noticed that parts were missing and they completely botched the winterization, the engine was not properly fogged out, and fried my fuel pump try to pump the gummed up fuel. i asked them to fix the fuel system after this improper winterization, but they refused.
Nice service
Hugely knowledgeable and helpful.
