I was visiting my friend in California. We also did a lot of grocery shopping in this place and everything was well presented. Easy to find all we needed. I recommend this place for all visitors. Happy shopping!

Good basics.Got great help re tequila. Had to buy some for my cousin I had no clue but got educated...Limited organics. Everything else ok.

Parking garage underneath on first floor with store above. Shelves pretty full. Meats great. Product very good. Much better inside with the lights turned up.

Always clean, roomy, and relatively well stocked. Prices are higher compared to the warehouse stores, but the “Safeway Club” prices are reasonable. There’s very good variety of produce, which also tends to be fresher/riper than other stores. Aisles are well-marked, and items don’t move around the store from visit to visit.

This one has good service. The store is a bit more modern than other Safeway in the area. Reasonable pricing and good selections too.

This Safeway is not crowded. Well organized and easy to find what I want. Employees are friendly except this guy at the Deli Counter..rude and impatient every time. Not sure he is Asian or Hispanic.

Havent seen a store on the second floor for years! A great use of space, beautifully clean store with loads of parking.

Worst selection of all the nearby Safeways. Produce is so disorganized, for example, onions in 4 different locations scattered across the produce section. Very few of each item on each shelf. Totally worth driving to the Rancho store.

Extremely unprofessional management staff during the overnight hours. If the managers dont care about the customers, then how will the other employees ever learn? Its the blind leading the blind during overnight hours at this location.

Store is very clean and organized. Hand wipes are available by the escalators. Aisles are clearly marked with arrows for which direction to go (like a one way street).

I worked hear a few years ago and at first it was going quite well but later on it got so bad for me, some employs treated me and my friend differently and as time went on there I became more angry and confused and then I left and the main reason why I left was because I was a push over back then and letting people walk all over me but now I am a strong cobra kia and I learned that in life you need to be at a good place not a bad place. over all its a nice new store but working hear is a different story.

This Safeway is like most all other Safeway. It stands out because of the great customer service and short wait time at the pharmacy. The area where this store is located is very safe and parking is easy and plentiful. Theres a Starbucks inside, as well as a deli, good produce, meat and bakery sections.

Ive never seen and accidentally purchased so many items past their best if used by dates in any supermarket, and not by just a few days. Be cautious.Self check out craps out so often, the time savings you expected to achieve frequently disappear at the whims of the gremlins.

This Safeway has a a cashier with very bad attitude, for no reason she yelled at me,I hope all the cashier dont follow her attitude

Probably the worst arranged Safeway Ive seen. Things are in seemingly random places and often in multiple places but with different selection options in each location. Poorly merchandised.

Like any other regular Safeway: Good selections + decently priced for most stuff. Some products have price tag missing. But overall OK. Nice that they have shaded parking. It would be nicer if they can keep it clean though.

Large pleasingly laid out Safeway with plenty of parking in lot underneath + smaller surface parking. All the usual Safeway brands & produce but seems a bit more upscale with large wine selection & expanded organic produce as well as some popular locally produced items.

Stairs blocked. Escalator broken. Never did make it in. Went over to Dreagers instead. Had tried to get delivery earlier. They deliver out of another location but couldnt say when within two days. Forget it.

Just buying chips and beer. First self-check-register couldnt scan. Second demanded that I remove an item from the weigh side before it would continue. Third register worked, but needed a human to verify my age. No human appears for 3 minutes. No checkers at 15 items or fewer. Stood in line behind a family groceries cart.Very disappointing trip. Shouldnt take 15 minutes to buy two items.

This is the best Safeway!!! Wonderful/amazing fruits and veggies. Great Bakery, Cheese, meats. Just love this Safeway

Nice and clean Safeway in Los Altos. Only recommendation is to look at the top shelf height. Two separate items were out of my reach ( and Im 56). Products in front had been taken. Consider having someone walk the shelves to bring product forward and in reach.

Safeway has been a solid icon in my life since the 1960s. And this store is no different. At times parking can be challenging. But they usually have everything that I need. Customer service is pretty friendly as well. The prices seem average for this area. Over the years the store has changed but there 1 commitment to customers is what keeps me coming back.

This is my go to place for snacks when Im heading over to a friends place. They have a good selection of food and Im always able to find parking. I dont usually get precut fruit but I keep going back for their precut pineapple. Its so juicy and the perfect level of hard but not too hard (aka not overly mushy). The store is easy to see on foothill but sometimes you miss the turn off to get to where the parking is.

I love the way the store is laid out, its easy to run in and grab and go. I never find it very crowded and if the lines are long, they very quickly open up another checker. I would give it a 5 except for the produce department is sometimes not kept up. Love the underground parking.

Terrible setup of their self checkout. Two lines or a single line? Customers argue about which. The clerk tasked with overseeing it prioritizes customers other than the ones using the self checkout.

Love this place. Great selection of beers and breads!!! You do have to get to the upper floor to shop so get to climbing some stairs or hop on the elevator from the parking deck!

The other reviews of this place are clearly paid for, because they are absolute lies. This is one of the worst grocery stores around. Even for a Safeway it’s pretty bad. And always has been. There is never anyone at the self check area so when you have a problem you have wait 5 minutes for someone to call for extra help to take care of it. And the other check stands are usually understaffed so long lines. The produce consistently looks terrible and costs about the same at the conventional stuff at Dragers or other nicer stores. The store is really poorly laid out - for some reason cheeses are spread out across three different corners of the store. Some of the checkers are friendly but most are totally checked out. There always seems be puddles on the floor from the refrigeration. The meat is really hit and miss. I bought tri-tip there recently and the roast was probably 1/3 fat by weight. After trimming it up myself I had about a grapefruit sized ball of fat. I could go on for a lot longer about this place but it will be a waste of time since the real reviews are clearly all being buried by a paid firm.

This is great store and great personnel working there.

Opens at 5am but does not have cashiers in until 6am. Its open but you cant buy anything. If they cant have a cashier there on time open then leave a few self check out machines open.

A big, new Safeway with lots of space. The selection is pretty good but still not great. They were missing a few items that Ive found at other Safeways. Parking is easy; theres a big garage downstairs.This store is strangely organized. For example I noticed eggs, orange juice, and chips in multiple spots each, and not always the same kinds in each place. It makes some things hard to find because you have to look all over. I think I prefer the Safeway up at El Camino and San Antonio, which is better organized.

Ever since this new pharmacist started here its been hell dealing with her. She the worst person in general. Just seems angry to be working. Effie is great, and very nice and helpful. This other one is just pure evil. I dont like to wish bad things but I really hope she either looses her job or her license. And she will.
