Daniel does GREAT work. We took our beat up chair to him and five days later it was reupholstered exactly to our specifications. It looks great, the work was done quickly, and the price was incredibly fair. I definitely expect to bring more restoration work to Daniel, and I would recommend him to anyone in similar need.

Do not use this place they do not do a good job. The owner takes your money and does not answer his phone and takes a long time fixing your items. When you get your items the job is half done my coffee table was painted a different colored and my Couch was half done and charged me extra. Do not recommend them.

I needed my couch cushions refilled with new foam inserts and the front of my couch had begun to sag and look tired. Daniel was very prompt in responding to my initial messages and came to pick up the couch at the time he said we would. He performed the repairs in the time frame he stated and charged a fair price. He was communicative via text and was on time in returning the couch. After reading some of the horror stories on here about him a was a little wary, but in the end Daniel was a great choice and he really came through without any issues at all.I would highly recommend.

My couch looks brand new now after my cat destroyed the fabric. Custom Leather Repair was able to pick up my couch the next day after I called them and they gave me a variety of fabrics to choose from, including picking out a fabric in advance that matched the original fabric! I would definitely use their service again.

We had 2 sofas and 2 chairs reupholstered by Daniel. We took a leap of faith and let them take our furniture before we found the fabric we wanted . It all worked out and my wife and I are pleased . Very reasonable and it took only 2 weeks. Just make sure your expectations are understood exactly . They left some detail off the sofas and the chairs that we wish he would have copied exactly. Live and learn, we are happy.

Took leather couch cushion for color repair, and they painted the cushion an entirely different color from couch. Regardless of repair quality, had to visit shop more than 3 times because they did not fulfill promise time and kept telling us it would be ready by another day and when we went to the shop, the cushion was still yet to be repaired. Basically wrecked a couch.Do not recommend this place. Sad to say, bad service and bad quality of repair.

On Yelp, Daniel wrote me back before anyone else & we need the job asap so we went with Daniel.First of all Daniel said that the reupholstery job would take a week.Daniel took our sofa on MAY 15th 2020. After possibly over a hundred time trying to fix & finish our sofa, we finally got him to deliver our sofa a few days ago, SEPTEMBER 15th! One week turned into FOUR MONTHS!!Daniel did our sofa with the wrong fabric & argued & argued that is wasnt the wrong fabric, until I showed him videos of me testing the fabric for content. FINALLY when there was proof the fabric was wrong he agreed to fix it but he said we HAD TO PAY MORE & buy our own fabric. He would blame me for getting upset when he just completely blew us off for days at a time, after he would break many MANY promises to start on the sofa on a certain date, & then he just wouldnt do it or answer our calls & textsWhen Daniel had our sofa for more than 3 months I became angry or irritated & Daniel would tell me I make him upset. When after about 10 or 12 weeks came & went & I found out Daniel hadnt even STARTED on finishing & correcting our sofa, I got VERY upset & Daniel replied;look, Im going to be very sincere, I think you lack peace in your life and since you dont feel well, you tend to bother people that is called letting yourself be filled by satanas and letting it flow so that he interferes with others. The devil uses your life to make you a stumbling block for others. You are already older sir as for this type of situation.” I copied & pasted that right from Daniels text to me.This is a huge sofa, 3 part, custom made, with a pull out bed. With PLENTY of time we let Daniel know that we needed it by a certain time for family who had planned to visit months ago. My relatives had to go to a hotel room (again, I have proof) up the street from us because Daniel didn’t deliver our sofa bed when he promised. Daniel was 15 WEEKS LATE! When I’d inquire Daniel would send me a pic of his shop busy, or him in a coronavirus mask.Daniel once BROUGHT OUR SOFA WITH 2 VERY DIFFERENT STYLE LEGS, in 2 VERY DIFFERENT HIGHTS, SOME IN VERY DARK WOOD, SOME UNFINISHED RAW TAN COLORED WOOD, NONE WERE OR LOOKED ANYTHING LIKE OUR ORIGINAL LEGGS. Daniel made our arm covers & the sofa caddie COMPLETELY WRONG, & nothing like the ones we agreed on.DANIEL STATES HE THINKS HE’S DONE US THIS GREAT BIG FAVOR FIXING THINGS HE SCREWS UP LIKE REPLACING OUR LEGGS HE LOST, CORRECTING THE ARM COVERS & SOFA CADDIE HE DID COMPLETELY WRONG & DOING WHAT WE PAID HIM TO DO 4 MONTHS AGO !!!Daniel really states that he feels that all the things he fixed, that he previously DID COMPLETELY WRONG & ANY OF OUR PROPERTY DANIEL REPLACED BECAUSE HE LOST OUR ORIGINALS AS A FAVOR! Really, read his commits, DANIEL THINKS HE’S DOING US A BIG FAVOR FIXING THINGS HE SCREWED UP!Not to mention that my wife, our 7 year old daughter & I went FOUR MONTHS without our family sofa durning quarantine. THAT WAS REALLY COMFORTABLE & FUN...I was really such a nightmare, I tried different approaching him with different angles, stern, aggressive, sympathetic, supportive, even begged. I really didnt think I was getting our property back.I contacted the police department & documented everything with Officer Richard Lee from South Pasadena Police Department. He gave me some instructions but he couldnt intervene yet because although David qualified for Civil action, officially a crime had not yet been committed.There is more is in the in the transcripts.
