Huge warehouse full of antique & used furniture. They have a lot of unique things so its fun to look around. However, some of their furniture is in pretty bad condition given the high prices they are charging. I think they would be a lot more successful if they put some restoration work into their inventory before trying to sell it.

My daughter purchased a real wood (not particle board) media cabinet here. They have a great selection of used furniture from various periods. They have something from just about any modern era. Delivery is also available. The delivery people did a perfect job delivering my daughters media cabinet. I hope to purchase from Wertz again in the future.Its important to note that there is ample off street free parking behind the store.

I found some really great furniture for my living room.I was able to put 30 per cent down.I have 2 weeks to pay for the rest.They do have delivery.

What a great and huge selection of vintage, antique, mid century modern and collectible furniture.Having purchased most of the furniture for our first condo at their old store in Van Nuys nearly thirty years ago, we went back for more at the Santa Monica store when we bought our house.Now were ready to redecorate and cant wait to see what we find now, knowing in advance they have so much it will be hard to decide!

Wow this place has everything as far as antique furniture. Honestly their is something for everyone here, all different styles. Plus they have painting, wood furniture, mirror, chandeliers, bed sets up, tons of antiques and trinkets, vintage chairs and sofas, coffee tables and dining room tables. Also they have a friendly safe that is very helpful. I dig the homely vibe here with the parrots in the middle of the store greeting people. Truly a experience going to this old time Santa Monica furniture store. Like stepping into the past.

One of my all time favorite stores in Los Angeles, there is something for everyone! My home is mostly furnished with furniture from Wertz Brothers and I rarely leave the store empty handed even when I’m just going to browse their extremely large selection. And I can’t forget the parrots! Amos and Gabby are always there to greet you, it isn’t the same without Sunny’s Hello though. This might be the best store in Los Angeles for pre-owned furniture, although not necessarily antique. Price negotiating is very actively discouraged but essentially fair. Large, accessible inventory. Avoid the parrots.

Great selection of vintage and new furniture. Prices can be on the high side, specially for newer things. Helpful staff. Dont miss the couple of friendly African grey parrots in the back.

On my visit, I didnt see very many employees to ask questions. Could be good if you are more of a browser like me, but if you need help, youre going to have to search!

Overpriced junk

So many heirloom pieces! This store has it all when it comes to resale of household items. A very large space with a lot of options for every room in your house. You have to take your time because there is so much to see.

Really interesting and unique store with great bargains to be found. Take note, this is NOT. A thrift store where you can furnish your home for $100. Pieces are pricey, but worth it for the quality.

Big huge old furniture store. There are all second hand and relatively ancient items, in good condition in general. They say the items served in original Hollywood movies before =)It is pretty expensive but you can just go and find THE chair that you will love for 40$ or a cabinet made from wood for 100$. So just get in and take a tour !

They start by riping off the seller, then move to ripping off the buyer and they finish it all up by treating their customers with disdain and disrespect. It is obvious that their staff has been empowered with the culuture of their ownership. Not a business that should be supported by your hard earned dollars.

This place is a scam. I recently purchased a used bed, only to later find that the price charged was greater than the price new. Very disappointing. Ive also seen a number of reviews online complaining about lousy customer service. I wont be back.

Excellent place, highly recommended, but I give it 3 stars because they do not open on Sundays and there are many people that is the only day we can go shopping or find something nice for our home. PLEASE OPEN ON SUNDAY AT LEAST HALF DAY. Thank you.
