The projected time of service completion took nearly 4 hours longer and I had to wait on a Saturday. I initially sat outside on a shaded wooden bench, then watched NBC Olympic coverage inside on the TV. Thankfully there was a bottled water unit to quench my thirst. That was cool.

Steve is very unprofessional this place is the worst they rip you off so bad and try to make u pay for things you never asked for. Don’t waste your time coming here unless you’re trying to get robbed

Quality service for European cars

I have a 2004 BMW X3 approaching 200,000 miles that has primarily been driven in Connecticut and Montana (i.e., its rusty). Alpine was able to overhaul my suspension faster and cheaper than anticipated.They were communicative and clear with their recommendations and provided great advice as to when used parts would suffice and when I should opt for new parts. I appreciated their honest guidance (particularly from Sevak) and I couldnt be happier with my car. It drives like a dream again.I would recommend any of my friends and family to Alpine without hesitation and will happily return to their shop again if my car ever needs any other work done.

I wasn’t actually a customer here, but that was only because they were honest with me and told me I didn’t need a transmission fluid change I was trying to get. Most places would take the money and run, but I really appreciated their honesty!

Had the part I was looking for. Exactly as described, no shady business. They were quick to get it off the car.Friendly staff, very knowledgeable about what they had as far as parts.Nice lobby area. Its air conditioned, comfy couches, water and coffee available.Parking was a little difficult but where is parking easy in Los Angeles.

I have patronized Alpine buying parts for my BMW and Mercedes over the years. I went by this week and purchased a window and told the front counter why I had purchased the window which was due to the battery dying. I tried to open the door manually and it wouldnt open. After researching the situation I was told the most cost effective way to get in the car was to smash the window, open the hood and jump the the car. That decision would be way less costly than towing on the flat bed to a dealer. I called Alpine they had the window. I went to purchase and while there I told the person at the counter the situation with my car and he said I needed a latch to be able to open the door when the battery dies, so I purchased the latch. I took the latch and window to a body shop and he said it was the wrong window ( it was for a X5, I have an X3) and said that my latch was good and that it was the key cylinder. I immediately called Alpine they said they would have another window for me, but when I got there the $100 I paid for the latch they would not return it. Said they would issue me a store credit. I told Tony it wasnt my mistake and I shouldnt have to take sole or any responsibility for their mistake. He brushed me off, said he wasnt going to argue with me. I understand they have a no refund policy, but it shouldnt be enforced when they made the mistake. I would have purchased whatever they recommended, theyre supposedly the professional. Also, by STEALING my hard earned $100.00 and issuing a store credit they probably just took another $50.00 from me as now my $100.00 is what they determine it is and it will be less than market value, because none of this salvage items cost what they say. Its just less than the dealer and thats what wins us over. Also Tonys staff quoted me a $200 price to installed those items and I got another quote for $100.00. PLEASE BUYER BEWARE, character and integrity generally doesnt generally appear at a auto salvage yard and Im here to say it doesnt at Alpine and Tony.

The engine warning light on my Mini Cooper was on, and the dealership at Universal City was going to charge me $8,250 to fix the problem. I took my Mini to BMW & Mercedes World. Steve (mechanic) was able to diagnose and do all necessary repairs for $2,600! And Nancy at the front office was so helpful, patient and kind - excellent customer service skills. Now my Mini is running like new and I am very pleased with the service repairs. So forget the dealership - you guys got yourselves a new loyal customer!

Service provider was nice and helpful when I had questions about the recall work being done for my boyfriends truck. He also explained some additional work (windshield wipers) and let me know there might be additional costs depending on if they were still original or not, which was greatly appreciated.

It is very stressful when you find out your car needs a new transmission. I was referred to Alpine Auto and when I called, within five minutes I knew I felt comfortable taking my Mercedes to this business. Just to be sure, I went to their location and met the owner, got a quick tour and saw every type of luxury car from Mercedes to Bentley in this shop having some type of work done. That too, made me very comfortable. I had the car towed to Alpine and a few days later picked it up. The price was fair, came with a warranty and the mechanic took me through everything that was done. The staff is very personable and the mechanics EXTREMELY knowledgeable and you can tell they know what they are doing. I refer everyone I know to these guys and I will continue to do business with them myself.

I have always found Alpine to be reliable and good to work with.

I do not recommend this place to fix your car . They charger me 300dll for cover valve, 500 dll labor and 160dll for 6 plugs spark,and they didnt change the plugs spark .i still keeping that receive.

Ok i also have something to say about them. I went there to get a support mount for my e36 transmission and it was cool you know 40$ and i was like yeah ill take it. Then when i needed a fan clutch i called them and they said 40$ so i went down and told them im here for a fan clutch and they told me its 50$. I told them i called earlier and you guys said 40$. So the guy said the price is 50$ and i kept telling them i just had called, i kept arguing so he said ok 60$ now. So i just left, these guys are a joke if your not armenian they will rip you off. After that I looked around and saw a place that sells BMW parts for cheap, their practically free.(of course not you still have to pay), genuine oem parts for a real deal. they sell parts for bmw and merc and audi their all new parts.. Im telling you guys because you bimmer lovers have to look out for each other you know. Their right next to bob hope airport, like 20 miles from L.A... S & J industries thats their company name. everyone there is nice and always ask has somebody helped you yet. Ask for Tony that guys cool.

I called them for a price on a single fuel injector they quoted me $30 dollars so I told them hold it I will be right there. When I get there they decide to add $5 dollars and now its $35 dollars. I DONOT RECOMEND COMING HERE very bad business ethics
