I highly recommended this place. I have been going here since I moved to LA and they have done nothing but great things. They are completely honest and upfront guys that aren’t in it for the money but for your safety and your car quality of life.Other than looking for a good doctor, dentist and hair stylist when moving to different place. By far one of the hardest thing is finding an auto repair shop that u can completely trust to do do great work on your car. Especially as a woman.

I had to stop in for a last-minute repair and I am glad I came here. I was immediately helped and with a preliminary inspection, I got an estimate and time frame for the work. It was reasonably priced and they were all so kind, polite and knowledgeable! Shout out to Bob for helping me out! I was able to pick up my car only a few hours later and got a complete rundown of what happened to my car and how they fixed it. Thanks so much! I will definitely be coming here again!

I always enjoy visiting this shop. I especially like dealing with John and Bob. They are very professional and knowledgeable. They always give me good advice about my older car. Importantly, they are both very honest, and I can trust them both. In todays world, trustworthiness is key.

I took a car here for a pre-purchase inspection. I had called beforehand but they, understandably, did not take reservations. Thankfully, they were able to squeeze me in. They did the inspection and gave me the report. The one I interacted with was Bob. He was a nice guy and a straight shooter. I would go here again if I was buying another car in the area.Also, their waiting room was comfortable. It had couches and chairs and even a desk to work at! I worked on my laptop and used their WiFi.

Bob and Luis were extremely helpful with my walk in tire issue and I’m so glad that I went to them to help as they were able to diagnose and resolve my issue as well as find an issue with another tire that they quickly resolved. I definitely recommend both of them and the business as a whole if you want quick, customer orientated service and will be coming back if I have any future car problems (hopefully not)

I was lucky enough to get a referral to Complete Auto when my car broke down on the freeway on my way to work a few months ago. I was having a very bad car day, since my window had also been smashed the night before. Anyway, Oscar was able to fix my passenger window, diagnose the mysterious engine failure, and fix the faulty part (my distributor) all on the same day, while also having a member of his team shuttle me back and forth to the BART station. And the price for everything came in way lower than I was fearing.

Bob was very helpful and pleasant. I have been looking for someplace I can take my 2009 Porsche 911 and feel confident since I stopped going to the dealership a couple years ago due to the exorbitant prices. I will be back for sure!

4.5 stars wasn’t an option. This is why I chose 4/5. John is very knowledgeable and helpful, but most importantly straight forward and honest. Parts were a challenge to get since I took it in on a Friday. So that delayed the job, but given the situation, we’re very satisfied and happy with the work done.

Bob and John are an excellent team. They know what they are doing and are very professional. My side view mirror was broken and other places kept telling me that I need to replace the whole thing. I brought the car to complete Automotive systems and Bob advised me that they can just replace the glass. I’m very happy with their work and they helped me save some money over replacing the complete mirror.

My low coolant light came on as I was driving so my car was quickly overheating. I exited the freeway and just so happen pulled into Complete Automotive Systems shop. I have a 1982 Mercedes 300 D that had a short that was draining my battery completely dead. Hutch found it and fixed it like he has done with anything that I have brought into him over the last 5 years. He is the guy and Complete Automotive is the place.

I’ve been here twice now and received excellent quality service at a good price both times. I drive a freightliner sprinter, and going to a lot of other mechanics has been sad for my pocketbook. Not these guys, they get it done and I’m back on the road without the financial slaughter.And I saw a Rolls Royce there today, so they’re trusted with the worlds finest vehicles.Very good experience with both visits, recommended to anybody, and I’ll be back when the time comes again!

Complete Automotive is AMAZING! As a woman I always cringe at the thought of having to take my car in because it’s hard to trust people. John and the team were so trustworthy and helpful. They saved me hundreds of dollars! The dealership was trying to rip me off and John helped me through that entire process. A repair job isnt the cheapest, but Ive never had an issue where Ive had to bring the car back to have them do it again.More detail: I have a Honda Accord that I used to take to the Honda dealership for oil changes, etc. I felt that the Honda service centers would have the latest recall information and OEM parts on hand. Part of the repair time Id have to budget out was driving the car a few blocks and bringing it back to tell them that there was a new rattle or that something was very obviously loose that shouldnt be.But I hadnt realized how much of a nightmare Honda service was until I started taking my car to Complete Automotive Systems.John S. has helped me on many occasions. His knowledge, straightforwardness, and dry humor make the tough conversations easier and the easy conversations all the more fun.Examples, you say?Gladly!Tough conversation: I went in for an oil change and brakes. John S. told me that my brakes were fine, but my rack and pinion was leaking power steering fluid. He asked me if I noticed any difficulties turning. I had not. He told me hat the rack and pinion had to be replaced. I asked how important that was. He told me something to the effect of: If you dont do this, dont take any windy roads. Or any roads.I did some research on pricing and prevalence of this issue with my car. Its a thing that exists, and the pricing was to the right of the mean, but their work is great.When I got my car back, my steering was nimble and turning radius was smaller. It was crazy. I hadnt noticed a decrease in performance because it was gradual. I was happy to have regained what Id lost. And I didnt even have to bring the car back after driving it around because they care about what theyre doing. Consistently.Easy conversation: My car wouldnt start, so I called AAA. I had hoped that a jumpstart would resolve my issue. The AAA guy came and told me that it wasnt the battery, so he wouldnt replace the battery. He diagnosed it as an alternator issue. That sounded expensive. I called John S., and told him what the AAA guy told me, and John S. told me to have my car towed to the shop in the morning.This was the first time Ive ever gotten my car dragged anywhere without me following along. I realized there probably wasnt much I could do if Id shown up anyway, but it still felt weird. The car was dropped off at like 8:20.I got a call from John S. with negligible delay. He told me what their process was and what they were inspecting and looking for. He called with an update a little later that the only problem theyd found was with the battery. No alternator issue, but theyd run more tests to see if it really was limited to the battery.Update at a little after 10am: car ready to be picked up. Battery needed to be replaced, so they replaced the battery.The opacity of the auto repair industry makes for easy victims of unscrupulous wrenches. With Complete Automotive Service, you have a trustworthy friend.

Complete Automotive is now my new Go-To Auto shop. I had taken my car to the dealership as well as numerous other repair shops and I was constantly charged for items that didnt fix the problem. Bob took time to explain everything to me, the technicians took their time to find the problem and they charged a fair price. I wish I had found them sooner!

Example: get your oil changed in the drive through. John S. that the quick lube were differently qualified and they are not mechanics. But, the quick lube des DO oil changes all day long. The work done for my car was necessary, but costly. John and I can agree to disagree. Just sayin.

My car has only had one major repair prior to me going to CAS. Since then I did whatever was in my reach to do an oil change. My car finally gave me a bad warning about my engine so CAS was ready to help out. I took my car in first thing one morning and was able to get it the next day ready to go. Like a good mechanic, they informed of any other things I should fix up but did not push me like other places have. I really appreciated that both times I took my car in they always called to tell me the cost before proceeding. Excellent service, friendly receptionist, mechanics and staff. Whenever car repairs or servicing is done on my car I always feel safe and ready to put it back on the road again thanks to Complete Automotive.

I brought my VW TDI in a few weeks ago for an oil change and basic checkup. Full disclosure, Ive never owned a nice car and really dont know anything about cars. Long story short, in going over the short list of things that I hoped to get addressed and fixed, John (I think) stopped me and asked if I was under warranty. Of course I didnt know because Im that guy when it comes to owning a car. He then called the DTLA service dept and informed me that some of my issues were under warranty. So they changed my oil and replaced a low beam (labor-free), and were done within a 2 hours. Ive never had a shop do something like that for me. Absolutely recommend them.

Using for over a decade: honest, provide options, never an issue with a repair. Cheaper than a dealer, more than a small shop... Just there right balance.

These folks are the best in the business--and thats no BS. Friendly, smart, and efficient service from everyone, though Chris is my personal favorite. These guys would never rip you off, and will always give you the straight dope...maybe even commiserate a little should an inspection yield a little bad news. Without a doubt, the Ivy League of automotive care--and I mean that, too; the mechanics I know of are specialty-trained and certified.And why am I gushing? Taking time out of my semi-busy day to write a review? Because when a company does stuff right, they deserve to have everyone know about it!

Repair of oil leak

Great work and honest prices. I heard from friends who had taken their cars there that the work was excellent. I had an engine light that kept coming on. They were able to quickly fix it and the staff is very knowledgeable and nice. I will definitely go back.

Fixed my brakes and led light in the front, a little nosey bc I was just finding out my child crashed my car while I was out of town. But they did save me a trip to the county jail... for sure!

The best place for auto repair

This place is amazing!! Had an issues with my tail light tried to fix it my self by replacing the bulb but was still having problems.

Took my Mercedes in to the dealer cause my brakes were making a weird sound, they quoted me a crazy number and had heard a lot of great things about Complete Automotive Systems. So i decided to give it a shot and lets say this it was the best thing I have ever done my repairs were only a 25% of what the dealer had quoted me, I would strongly tell my friends about this shop and I will be returning with future vehicle needs.
