Wanted to love this business and drove 40+ minutes cross town to support. Got there just before closing. Associate was nice, but she forgot to bag one of my items; I didn’t notice till after I’d left. Also decided last minute to buy a costume wig I saw. They didn’t have any left in stock so I asked if I could buy the display. No discount on the display wig and if I hadn’t asked for a bag, I’d have been walking out with it in my hand. For my wig wearing sixteen, this location has everything you need except needle and thread, so that’s inconvenient. I’ll go back again and give it another shot, but first impression wasn’t a wow.

I was on the hunt for a black owned beauty supply in my neighborhood and decided to Google one. The first result happened to be The Girl Cave! I visited this location yesterday to pick up a few things( prestretched braiding hair). The service and product was 5 stars! This location not only carries your faves but new lines, like The Mane Choice and more! I will definitely be supporting this location and if you are Black you should too! So happy to have found this location🙌🏽 lets support Black business fam!

Black owned beauty supply stores make me feel happy during and after the shopping experience. It was so refreshing to ask and actually receive HELP versus Suspicious stares from someone who truly understands our hair type. I was there to pick up some braiding hair. They had lots of colors and lengths available. The young lady knew exactly what I needed. They had all of the products I use. I would have given them 5 stars if they improve on the organization of the store. Overall, it was the Culturally Sensitive and Great customer service that will keep me coming back.

I literally just bought some edge control, walked out, realized I didn’t need it after finding some in my car and went right back in to see if I could get a refund for something I realized I didn’t need. The lady could see me, never drove off, but refused to give me $10 back for unopened edge control. It’s hurting your business that bad to give back $10, it clearly was not contaminated, had just bought it. Lost a customer

They have a good line of hair products and growth serums

Whoever youve got working the morning shift at this location is sub par, thank God for the Crenshaw location but it doesnt open early! Tell her to pep it up and act like shes at work not texting at home!!

I absolutely love this place. They carry the products i love and theyre helpful! The people are great, if they dont have something youre looking for, let them know and theyll get it. Theyre a new business so bare that in mind but their prices are fair and theyre black owned.
