I came here to look for a pet bird a few months back, and I found a great companion. I ended up getting an adorable yellow sided Green Check Conure. He was pretty cheap compared to most places and very lively. The people also seem to be really knowledgeable about birds, and have plenty of birds to choose from. Their Cooktiels are extremely nice and well trained. I would definitely recommend this place for getting a pet bird. They even have other animals too, like (I believe) hamsters, and some reptiles.

When a pet shop has a No Photos Allowed sign, thats a red flag. A good pet store will WANT to show off their happy healthy animals and clean living conditions. The cages arent too dirty but theyre so many birds stuffed in they cant fly or flap without slapping other birds. Interestingly enough, there were SO MANY cockatiels, usually theres many budgies/parakeets but there were also just so many cockatiels too. With the requisite dirty water, empty food bowls, & lack of toys. The fish and hamsters were also living poorly with bare amount of bedding, food, water, and hides. Only good thing I can say is the toys, perches, and other cage items are reasonably priced.Like many bad pet stores, their products are also dusty, meaning they dont wipe down or dust off or clean their own stock. I am also suspicious of how knowledgeable they are, how can you tell someone is knowledgeable if the person is ignorant themselves? Also, many of the 5 star reviews are just questions! Thats not a review!I visited 3 bird stores in LA. This one is tied with Quetzal as the worst 2. Its bigger than Quetzal and theres more bad things happening.

Very friendly. Extremely informative. He went above & beyond for us. Reasonably priced Birds,cages & accessories. Small store with a great amount of small,to medium sized birds in cages. And it says a lot that he replies so gracefully to all of his reviewers. He’s even so tactful towards the negative ones!! Love it! 👏🏼👏🏼

As someone who owns birds and have learned so much about them over the years, I felt that this shop wasnt up to the standards I expected a bird shop to be at. There was a lack of bird toys. The conditions that the birds are kept at made me feel sorry for them. I also tried buying some bird pellets but I made sure to check the expiration and they were already past their best buy date. It doesnt seem like the owners keep the shop too well. It was organized but honestly the birds were all crowded and had unsanitary water. I hope that this review sheds some light and hopefully I can see a change.

It’s a bird place. It’s going to be dirty, but it’s also over crowded and I think overpriced. Plus their hours of operation are not very accessible. Opens at 11 or 12pm and closes a 5pm. Not a big window for the working class.We recently lost my mom and my dad was supper depressed. I know he likes birds so I decided to get him one. Very hard to find a bird place, though. So after looking around I found this place. Would I purchase again at this place? Probably yeah unless I find another spot. I dad loves his birds and that is the only reason I would come back.

Prices are cheap, but the birds they give are traumatized. They handle them with very aggressive care. Pack the birds into small cages (no pictures on purpose). Grab the birds with their handsIt took my parakeets a few weeks to stop being frozen still due to fear of humans in my house (very quiet environment, no reason for stress)If I were you, I’d spend my money in a more ethical pet store so the birds you buy won’t come home frozen and traumatized, resulting in much greater effort to tame them.

Quick question.. how much are the Amazon Parrots and the Green cheek conures ?I’m really interested in buying one but I know they tend to be a little expensive here!Also, was reading your reviews for about 1 hr yesterday and I love that most of them are good and the bad ones are just mad costumers that don’t have patience or experience working in a store where there’s few employees, many costumers and so much to explain. Animals can’t simply be sold and that’s it. You need to take your time with each costumer and make sure they know what they are getting in to. Also, if a costumer says they are just looking around we (as the employees) are taught and asked to leave them alone.

Small little pet store, alot tame birds, which is what we were looking for. Got a conure yellow sided .. very tame 2mnts old. Our new member of the family. Expensive the little rascal..

I can’t say more terrible things about this place. My family went in to this store in January, to hopefully buy a green cheek conure. They enter the store and the horrendous smell of uncleaned bird cages, and uncared for birds most knocked us over. Every bird in there was terribly scared, shaking uncontrollably, and the majority of them were injured or appeared to look like they were suffering from injuries or sick. The entire store was dirty, and overall not safe for birds to be there. We have reported them and we hope something gets done ASAP. Be aware when you enter this store. It was a complete disgrace. Being an animal advocate/lover- my heart is broken. Do better. This place needs to be shut down.

Very rude, from the moment I entered i was being egnored. A couple walked in soon after. All the attention was given to them. I had asked 3 people for assistance and I was sent away. They didnt want to help me at all. I refused to let my animals have no food. I forced myself to swallow my pride and I still bought food for my animals. Trust me, it took a lot for me to do. I will never return to this store.

Had almost no birds. No prices on the bird cages. Terrible quality high priced cages and worst of all the owners were busy talking to their friends about drama in the family. Didnt approach us to ask what we were looking for or give information about the birds. My wife and I didnt wanna interrupt their little chat so we left. Dont come here. You will not find anything you are looking for unless your looking for average cockatiels.

How much are baby green check conure

Got charged $700 for an Indian Ringneck because was told it was a violet color, but it’s not violet turned out to be blue. In their shop since it’s cage on top of another the Indian Ringneck where it was kept was dark so the bird didn’t look blue but once we got home and started seeing it with some light/ sunlight it’s blue. Wouldn’t recommend if they’re going to lie. Who knows what else they lie about. Very unhappy.

I had bought 2 birds from this place n both had died recently bought a Ring neck n then a month after a green cheek conure i believe they were already sick the ring neck for only 3 months n the green cheek conure for 6 months out no were they just past the way....i have other bird n they in great conditions n only this 2 birds i bought from him they died so weird it must be because he has them all crowded in a cage 8 birds in a cage so dirty...no wonder the ring neck never wanted to eat since i got him he looked so sad...just gets me so mad people breed birds for money n dont care in what conditions they selling bird to people taking a bird sick with out knowing...

The reason why I am rating this pet store a 1 is because the birds seem miserable there. They seem unhappy and it seems as if they are being mistreated. I know it is not just me that can see how miserable the birds seem. I have had people tell me that they are in shock of how sad the parrots look in cramped cages. It is upsetting to see the birds like this and I believe they deserve to be treated better. I am not pleased with the way the birds are treated and I believe that this pet store should be inspected. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Yes i will give you my input of how bad your store is and the way you treat your customers. Well you actually dont have the knowledge about birds you said you have been caring for bird for more than 15 years,so you should know if your birds are healthy or if something is wrong with them. But actually you dont know that because you dont even bother to take them to a vet to get check out you are to cheap for that you care more about the $$$ than the birds health . I BOUGHT AN INDIAN RINGNECK AND IT DIED 9 DAYS LATTER. After my Indian ringneck started acting weird and pooping a yellowish red color i took him to the vet, but it was too late. The bird had a liver disease. So after my bird died i called the store to see if at least i could get another bird or at least get half of what i paid for the bird, but the owner didnt want to compromise on neither of them. So i started doing some research and asking around and looking for answers as why did my ringneck parrot died after just having the parrot in my home for 9 days. Well the answer is that the bird already had the liver disease when i bought it, which the owner supposedly didnt know, why is that because he buy this birds from other breeders that he has no idea of how they are raised or treated .Well i didnt get my bird or any money back not even an apology or anything and as for customer service you are the worst person to speak to you dont even have ethics of how to resolve a situation like this one. WELL PEOPLE IF YOU WANT TO GIVE FREE MONEY TO A PERSON THAT HAS NO IDEA OF HOW THIS PARROTS ARE TREATED OR IF THEY ARE SICK WELL YOU HAVE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE . If your PARROT DIES a week later he wont even bother to replace or at least give you some money back for your lost, i get it that its a pet store but as a GOOD person you will try to resolve the problem something he didnt even tried to resolve. Thats why I RATE this store with one star it should be -1 star. Karma is a b****. i hope you enjoyed the $600 that you got for this parrot.
