Outstanding! We celebrated my daughters 4th birthday here at the cafe and so happy we did! From the time I booked the package to the time we were served, was smooth. The reservation team was knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. The cost of all the food, the souvenir bag, the cake, and the service was very generous.When we arrived to the cafe, we had the outdoor patio balcony to ourselves with views from above. The cinnamon muffins, fruit kabobs, bread, hummus, mini muffins, and vegetables hit the spot. Then came our delicious entrees! The burgers, french fries, chicken tenders, and dipping sauces were so good! Top it off with 2 bell-ini adult drinks and you’re set🍾🥂🍸. 🍔🍟Then came my daughter’s delicious cake and Bingo!! I don’t like cake but this cake was delicious. 🍰🎂Julian was our server and from the moment he introduced himself, we knew we were valued. He was happy to serve us and he followed up after every course to make sure we were taken care of.He sang a birthday song to my daughter and made her day very special.Overall, it was a wonderful day and my daughter was so happy. I can’t thank them enough❤️😊

Amazing place with many great options to choose from. This place is every girls dream. Youre able to pick a doll and buy all the accessories at the store. You can even get your doll ear pierced, nails done, and etc. My daughter enjoyed her birthday here.

Great place to spoil your daughter, unfortunately they have very bad greeters and customer service. If your not dressed in High Dollar clothing and Jewelry as you walk in they treat you as if your just a window shopper with not enough money to buy at their store.The only respectful and nice person that was there happened to be the lady in charge of the janitorial duties. After I spent $600 plus on my daughter the manager all of a sudden felt like being HELPFUL as she seen money wasnt a problem...Good afternoon and thanks for reaching out to us. My 5yr old daughter has been waiting all year long to visit your store. She turned 5yrs old on the 6th of October and as promised I brought her in to your store Saturday morning to finally enjoy the experience. As my wife, my 5yr old daughter walked in along with myself pushing  my 9 month old in a stroller, we immediately ran into 4 employees all standing in the same spot glancing away from my family and waiting for customers to greet as they walked in. We walked through the entire store to gather everything my daughter desired, passing by several other employees that would not bother to ask if we needed assistance. Finally one of the employees, an elderly Hispanic woman said good morning to us with a warm smile on her face. Shortly after we realized she was in charge of cleaning the store up. After browsing through the entire store and picking out what my daughter wanted we made our way to the cash register to complete our purchase, while still not getting any help or assistance. 3 of the same employees that ignored us as we initially entered happened to be in the cashier department. Once the employees seen all the items we were about to purchase they suddenly felt the urge to want to help and make a sale.. My family has never felt so embarrassed and not wanted. The nostalgia was thick and now were really having a tough time wanting so desperately to go back but afraid to have my daughter around such nasty and stereotypical people, especially during these difficult divided times that are Great Country is experiencing.

The store is BEAUTIFUL.. the staff is so friendly and helpful. The young lady that cashed us out let us know if a package available that would save us money and pointed out additional items she thought our daughter might enjoy. I also commend the company in the diversity of dolls that they offer. I thought that our days of American Girl doll shopping were over- thanks to this new selection, theyre not!

Wow! Theres so much to see. There are at least two floors. The first floor is all the dolls and accessories and theres even a salon for the dolls with real stylists. Upstairs they take you through time with all their dolls throughout the decades in exhibit. They even have a Cafe.

I took my niece and daughter here last week and they loved it! They got matching pajamas for their dolls, super cute place. However we were at the store for about 2 hours or so and no one ever asked us if we needed help, Instead the customer service employees just looked at us and they didnt appear happy or friendly . Great experience but not great customer service.

The store we love, but they lost a star because I made reservations for my daughter and her grandmother to attend a Grandparents Day brunch. It was $76 for the 2 seats and apparently nothing more. They charged almost $100 to her grandmothers credit card! I guess food was separate although this was not disclosed.NOT the nice gesture I was going for! They could have at least charged it to ME or given me the opportunity to add food credit while making reservations. Very tacky move! Were it not for that, this would have been an amazing experience

The Cafe is open on the weekend. This is part of the Hollywood experience, every doll a child can imagine and more. American Girl is an anchor for an eclectic collection of eating establishments arranged in an open air farmers market atmosphere along with a boulevard of high end, haute couture establishments.

I happened to be in the elegant Groove shopping center in Los Angeles, at the request of a little friend of mine who wanted a doll from the renowned store American girl Place so I entered the American girl Place Beautiful store with friendly and qualified staff. Here a child can find without any problem what he is looking for. Purchase made and brought back to Italy where I live. 14,000 km to see the little Aghata happy.

$$$ but super cute stuff! My daughter loves this store and we both get super excited when we visit. The only downfall is that they do not remove sale prices prior to store Ill pending and my daughter wanted a nightgown that was $28 or so and sale for $16 but they took the prices down at around 10:30 when they open at 10:0]. Daughter was a little disappointed at that and had to put the night gown back. I guess it was my fault that they did not remove signs prior to opening.

What a fantastic and well presented store. My child had so much fun picking out her doll and the staff were very friendly. So many accessories to pick from. We also booked the cafe experience as well and the food was much better than I expected. Actually tasted better then most other restaurants.

This store is humongous one of the biggest I’ve been to than in other states it’s a magical experience even being a mother they have so much cute stuff in here for your doll they even have a salon and a cafe it’s 2 levels they have escalators and an elevator very nice and clean and organized the employees are very nice and helpful here

The department store is still amazing however there Bristol is not what it used to be. The smell of unclean carpet lingered in the air. The smell made it uncomfortable to enjoy our meal. I should have asked for an outside table. Oh well you live and you learn.

Got to inquire for my sisters birthday and everything was great including the food. The staff really had my mind blown. And everyone was smiling. Will be returning. ;)

Love the super friendly, and helpful staff. They greet you as soon as you walk in the door, and ask if you have any questions, or if this is your first time here, they tell you all about the store as well. They are always making sure the customers have all of their questions answered. The store is super clean as well! Very big store, 2 stories. We found the exact doll my daughter wanted, that has the same brown hair and eyes as her. Great prices too. Dolls are in excellent condition. This was our first time here, and we had an awesome experience. Will definitely be coming back!

Fun place to take your little girl and her American Girl Doll. Fun little seats that attatch to the table for the dolls. Cute little finger foods, and cute desserts. Very simple tea party, but cute elegant. The staff is helpful.

The staff is amazing. TK will make your daughter and doll feel like the VIPs they are!!!! The professionalism of both she and Cynthia help you understand why this place is much more than just a fancy doll store. So grateful for each and every experience ❤.

Super nostalgic visit for my wife and a great first time visit for my daughters. The stylist that did the hair appointment didn’t seem to thrilled to be there, and the whole experience could have been more magical if her attitude was better.Edit: I have responded to American Girl Doll as request, will update the review if they reply. Eager to see if this is just an attempt at PR.Edit 2: they did actually respond and I felt like addressed the situation exactly how I would have wanted.

I went to the American Girl Cafe to celebrate my grandaughters birthday. Our server was fantastic! The food was also very well prepared and presentation is beautiful.The menu offers gluten free options and choices for children. The price point for each meal is reasonable, considering your drink, muffins, main course and dessert are included. The portions are large and adult beverages are offered (mimosas and bellinis). It was a pleasant experience and I would go back for a special occasion

Absolutely DISGUSTING establishment. Went to park the car and arrived at 6:01 and they would not let me join my family of 3 children after spending over $400. Disgusting that they break up families. This is supposed to be a fun experience for crying out loud. Ew.

This was a must see for my Daughter on our vacation (all the way from Canada) and they did not disappoint. The store was well organized; we loved the areas dedicated to each doll.Another highlight was the Cafe where we stopped for lunch. Not only was the food great but the service was as well. When I was younger, my parent(s) took me there for my birthday. It was very cute, they had cute food and cool books. I highly recommend going there at night or early in the morning, because it can get very crowded and stuffy in there mid-day. Although it is a very cool place, the items they sell cost a lot. There was a mini set called, The Rabbit Hutch that came with a small pen house, some carrots, a very small sign, a small bowl, some water and a rabit and that costs in total $42.00! And thats just without tax! While the experience is good to make memories out of, you have to pay about $100-$300 just for parking. So remember, if you want to go visit the Los Angeles American Girl shop you HAVE to be willing to spend about a meer $500. Youre better off just waiting for an uber to pick you up. Overall, the experience was pretty good, but the price for memories werent.

I had low expectations in regards of the food at the American Girl Cafe... however not only every dish was cute and perfectly garnished but also was delicious, my niece loved every minute here, great environment and delicious food, I will definitely be back soon!

Brought back memories from when my daughter was younger. Store looks almost the same with a few changes. They now have dolls for boys and girls with no hair and blue hair to be politically correct. I think thats cool. Nice selection of items for them. Wish I was young again.

Took my daughters for my baby girl 2nd bday and that was the best decision! Everyone was kind and no one rushed us (went to eat and came back). I think I want an American Girl so I can play along with them lol. They found their best friends and we will be back for accessories! I love this place every time I take my nieces in to get a doll or new outfits for their dolls. I love and a sense how theres a warranty on them as well, I like when my nieces dolls head fell off you just take it theyre in they will all take care of it and reattach it. Even put a hospital gown on them.

My friends threw me an adult birthday party here and it was the highlight of my year. We all had so much fun goofing around with the dolls and playing games at our table and the staff was as kind about our “big kid” antics as Disneyland would have been. The food was great and the menu even included options for those who were vegetarian, and I’m not talking veggie sticks and humus. The chef actually cares about different diets and we appreciated that very much. Overall thank you so much 🥰

My favorite coffee shop in old town Los Angeles,CA. Baristas are very friendly and will remember what you order if you come in often enough. There is usually plenty of seating and music is subtle and nice.

Manager was really rude over the phone. Would not want to help me search for an item I purchased at her place that was supposed to get shipped to my place. The manager needs to get some customer service training... will think twice now just to travel 2 hours away to this place.

This is such a fun store to come to! there is a hair salon and historical row where you can see different kinds of dolls that were developed in different times and outfits that come with them. The staff is super friendly and helpful! Theres also a cafe which we tried and the food is superb here.❤😊❤

Visited with my daughter for the first time and the overall experience was magical!! This store is huge and very well organized. We spent several hours browsing and shopping. The store also has a Cafe, salon and doctors office Customer service was excellent and there were plenty of staff around to help! We will be back for more outfits and play sets soon!

If you come in there 20 minutes before closing you can expect a horrible service. We were asking Hispanic girl that was working there to help us find the outfit that we were looking for and she was just standing there didnt know what to say and didnt want to come up to us so we had to find someone else to help and that someone else was not happy to help either because they were closing in 10 minutes. Love the store but not the employees

I cant complain about the service in the cafe, my 2 daughters were treated like royalty. The store was lacking. We purchases several items and spent hundreds of dollars, but there were a couple of items that were listed on sale but would not ring up correctly. How hard is it to get that correct? Personally I believe they think the customers may not notice the discrepancy in the prices when rung up.

Took my daughter for her birthday and loved it. The cafe was great...even her 7 year old brother seemed to enjoy himself. We got her dolls hair done and ears pierced, also fun! And then some shopping.
