I’m a new author. With your children in mind, book is, the lost puppy. A man walking to work was able to reunite a little girl with her puppy that ran away. it’s a happy read. Another one, where do dreams come from, it’s about a little boy meets a mermaid and becomes a friend a fun read. Another one, the hoot owls and the truth about secrets. It’s a wonderful book idea for what about secrets, secrets are something that may not be good to keep between someone. Thank You for your thoughts about my book
Absolutely wonderful cultural oasis in the heart of busy Bookstore. They have a sweet coffee bar up front with all types of coffee and tea selections plus bakery goods, sandwiches and a Banh Mi-like Vietnamese roll. Huge selection of books and a cart of Hurt or damaged books. Grab a coffee, grab a seat, and enjoy the people watching parade.
I love this store. Whenever my husband and I go to the Castro theater for a date, we always make an effort to stop buy and pick out books for each other. Great selection and good prices. Theres also a used section where we have often found great books to read.
This is the bookstore that I wish my neighborhood bookstore was. Incredibly kind and helpful people working there. Great selection. Great prices.
I love the vibes here and seemingly never leave the shop empty handed. They have an incredible selection of used books and popular books that have been marked down. I also love the fact that they have a section of local authors and publishings.
I came in here while in town for a wedding looking for a new journal. Their staff were very friendly. They had a good selection of Moleskine notebooks but not much else in the journal department.
This is a great specialty bookstore located in the Arts District in DTLA.They have a great selection of books specializing in Art, Architecture, and Photography and some are original print. They also have a small selection of kids books and greeting cards.
Great selection with an in-house cat (or two?). The readings and signings are awesome, but I definitely recommend going early so you dont get stuck behind the dictionaries, straining to hear over someones cell phone ringing. They have a good magazine rack, with a spinning wheel o indie zines, as well as foreign and small press periodicals.
This is one of my favorite bookstores in the neighborhood, and its so easy to spend hours in here. They dont have a crazy selection, but Ive never left without finding a book that I simply couldnt live without.
