The only reason BHLDN is getting any stars is because of the sweet sales associate Esther otherwise, it would be negative stars.My bridal appointment was excellent. I was not pressured into buying anything, and Esther was sweet. Highly recommend this bridal dress experience.Sadly my dress size was not in stock, which was okay. Esther told me to keep an eye on it because it would be restocking, but she didnt know when. Two days later, I saw the restock and called the store to place my order. Esther informed me I could save a little bit of money placing the order with the store.This is where my issue begins...I called and left a message no one got back to me. I called several times, and I kept getting the same message that all consultants were busy helping brides, which is a load of garbage because I attempted to call several times throughout the day.Ultimately, I ordered the dress online, and it will be shipped to my house. I didnt want to wait around for them to maybe call me and miss out on this dress and restock.

I was so excited to shop here for my wedding dress. But my experience with the sales associates left me with such a bad impression. I was shopping at Century City one day, and did not know there was a BHLDN there, so I did not have an appointment but thought I could go there to book one. A very unfriendly women asked me if I had an appointment when I entered the store, I told her no and asked if I could take a look at a few dresses and then book an appointment. She seemed unpleased that I didnt have an appointment but did not say that browsing was not allowed. I was so excited I found the dress I had been eyeing for months and asked if I could try it on. Her response couldnt have been uglier and more unwelcoming. She said, no, you cannot try that in here. If you want you can go outside to the Anthropology store to see if they can help you, plus we probably dont have it in your size. I hadnt even mentioned my dress size. Even the store clerks at a Rite Aid has better customer service, tact, and manners. I dont know how they expect to sell wedding dresses with such a low-skilled, inexperienced poor-mannered sales associate greeting your clientele. I do not recommend shopping here.

I had a great experience at BHLDN yesterday. There were plenty of plus size dresses for me to choose from, and we had wonderful service from the woman helping us. There was no pressure during the appointment, but I found my dress, and she made alteration and styling suggestions I would have never come up with on my own. I highly recommend.

So insanely disappointed with Anthropologie and BHLDN. I ordered a veil at my fitting on May 1st and was told by my appointment consultant that it would be in my hands by mid May, without a doubt. I was already stressed knowing it was so late but I’ve since received 3 more emails confirming delay with the shipment and I’m absolutely devastated that this likely will not arrive in time for my wedding on June 5th. I’ve been told all three times via “support chat” and telephone “support,” that my product would ship at the projected date, with certainty, and every time it has been false. So, so devastated.

Truly a fantastic experience, even in these weird covid times. My Maiden of Honor actually got her wedding dress from this same location so I knew I would be in great hands. I was helped by the very lovely Jessica, who beyond being a complete delight was extremely intuitive and understood my nonsensical vision (“witchy, boho, LOTR, Stevie Nicks but in the forest”). She was able to pull pretty much every dress I wanted to try and even picked one out for me that ended up being a close second. If I was having a different wedding (at a tradition venue instead of a national park) she would have picked the perfect dress. She has a keen eye for body types and knows what will look good a a curvy body. I ended up choosing Lourdes, and she even gave me some lovely ideas how to add a few touches to finish my look off. Highly recommend this BHLDN and the wonderful Jessica! (Will update with pictures after the wedding)

Had a great experience and found my dress!

I called this store with a problem that I had with online, it was probably my 10th store that I was talking through out the country. Jessica was the only person that listen and actually was willing to help me. She send me pictures of the dress she was prompt, polite and she put me at easy.

While their Covid policies seem extremely unaccommodating, I did have a very positive experience once I was there.My friend had traveled in from out of town and we couldn’t even look at dresses without an appt.However the people that actually work there were very nice and accommodating once I went in for my appt.

BHLDN is a customer service NIGHTMARE. I booked an appointment 2 weeks in advance, when their COVID policy was a bride and two guests. They apparently sent me an email a few days prior to my Saturday, 11:00 a.m. appointment, to notify us of a change of 1 guest to accompany the bride. I missed that email and showed up with my mother, who traveled from out of town, and my MOH. When we arrived at Anthropologie, the lovely greeter up front politely directed us upstairs to BHLDN. We approached the check-in table for BHLDN, and the woman greeted us and asked for a name. She then explained their new policy, and I asked if there are exceptions since the showroom was empty and my mom traveled from out of town to be here for this special moment. Before the woman at the desk could respond, an extremely rude red-headed woman (assuming shift manager) came from their back room and told us that we should have received an email, and that there were no exceptions. My mom kindly said she’d walk around Anthropologie and do some shopping while we try on the dresses. The rude woman told my mom that wouldn’t be possible, and that my mom had to leave the store because they might get busy. The store probably had 5 customers, and is large enough for people to social distance. There was no reason to kick my mother, a potential customer, out of the store. This left a sour taste in my mouth and ruined the entire experience. To top it off, the dresses didn’t feel high quality, the associates “couldn’t help us” in trying on (when 5 other bridal stores I went to were able to assist in a safe manner), and told us if our masks come off even in the fitting room they’d have to “reschedule us”. I’ve read about the poor customer service from other brides, but I thought during these times, BHLDN would show the slightest bit of empathy. And for further insult, while my MOH and I were in their showroom, another bride was in there with her mother AND father….without anyone kicking them out of the store.Brides, I urge you to go elsewhere. You can find similar styles at a higher quality and similar price point at Cocomelody or Luv Bridal. This place is a joke.

Located upstairs inside the Anthropologie. I wandered in to just look at a dress Id been eyeing on Pinterest and one of the girls had a no-show and offered to let me try on the sample. Seems like they have a small and larger sample size for most dresses. The girl helping me, Sarah, was super friendly - she zipped me in since I was alone; offered and took a quick picture for me, and was very complementary. She made tons of great suggestions about things to consider when dress shopping. Ill be booking an appointment and requesting to meet with her when my mom is in town!My only eh remark about the experience is the dresses are right next to these huge floor to ceiling windows and the afternoon California sun got really hot! But the windows are gorgeous and they allowed me to get an idea of what dresses would look like in the natural light!
