Excellent sweets to enjoy and easily impress all who you share with here at Bottega Louie. I miss their old location but not much else has changed. Their dining menus are still delicious and Ive always had good service from caring staff.

Beautiful place. Love the decor. Love the ambience. I came here for my birthday for lunch and had the pasta. It looked so good and tasted just as good. My friend ordered the pizza and oh boy, we thought it was the size for one person but it wasnt! It was gigantic. U can probably feed 4 people. We tried the truffle pizza, was pretty good and unique.The gift shop was so pretty. I wanted to buy everything there as the packaging was so nice.Its best for breakfast or brunch here. Make a reservation if you are coming on the weekend. Less people during the weekday.

I would definitely recommend this cafe/brunch for anyone visiting. They have such a huge selection of macaroons, bakery and cake to take home. Everything we ordered was very enjoyable. I was lucky to get seated quickly as it wasn’t as busy but it does get busy very quickly as well. Very family friendly, service was great.

Had an amazing lunch today at Bottega Louie with a new colleague who is considering relocating to L.A. I was happy to show her one of downtowns best spots and we were not disappointed! We shared the portobello fries and each got a pizza (traditional pepperoni for me and truffle white for her) and it was all incredible.Our server William took excellent care of us! Super attentive and took the time to explain everything to my friend on her first visit. Thanks for making her first BL experience so great and we will be back as soon as I talk her into moving to L.A

Service is good and the staff is very friendly. The restroom is very clean. My friend and I ordered a pizza and a salad. I don’t know it’s that we didn’t order the right thing or else, these two dishes didn’t fit our taste much, but I wouldn’t say it’s bad neither. I could tell they are well-made.

Its one of my new favorite restaurants now. Ive been to this place a few times and each time the service was similar. The servers were courteous, cheerful and helpful. You would think a place like this would have an attitude, but it cannot be further from the truth. The food was delicious and appetizing, the place is vibrant and comfortable. Id suggest coming here for just a slice of cake (the desserts on offer are amazing and all gorgeous), a cup of coffee and just people watch. Its never short of good looking people and everyone comes in and leaves with a smile.

The overall service was good. It was obvious that they were busy (but we came in at 9pm) so we were not attended to as soon as we would have liked. However, our server was very sweet and helpful. When we received our bill, we were pleasantly surprised when he provided us complementary macarons. Overall, the food and service deserved 4.5 stars.

The only reason I give this 4 out of 5 is the noise. We found it hard to hear each other while eating lunch. The food, I felt like we were back in Italy. Everything was delicious! The dish we would say is safe was the chicken parm so we probably wouldnt get that again. Everything is handmade and none of us had any leftovers. The ravioli was a smaller portion and a good lunch size. We had dessert and finished those as well. The raspberry sauce is amazing and you can purchase it. We went over to the bakery section and ordered a bunch of things. They have some of the best macarons I have had. Highly recommend everything. There were fun holiday treats as well right before Christmas.

Great atmosphere. Casual chic vibe. The crowd it attracts is office employees, grabbing a quick lunch or a pastry dessert to go. The savory options tasted rather bland however. Not any discernable flavour. However, the restaurant is well known for its myriad of dessert choices. Service was slow at first, but we were later helped by a wonderful lady named Melissa, who offered us a basil sauce that was was a great compliment to the calamari, chips and pasta. Overall, despite looking upscale, the service was friendly and surprisingly non-snobbish. Dont be intimidated by its appearance. Once youre seated, one will come to find that it is a relaxed atmosphere.

Went here after seeing all the reviews on google however I was disappointed. We were seated very quickly however we had to wait a long time for our server to even come over and introduce herself. Afterwards we had to ask for water as a drink was not offered. We ordered orange juice and had to ask 2 different people 3 times for it to finally arrive (came as we were almost done our food). I was impressed with the aesthetics of the place and was thinking of buying one of the nice looking pastries on my way out but the service changed my decision. The food itself was good and tasted fresh. I was visiting LA and I did not expect a good portion of my morning that day to be spent waiting for the server.

Service was fast and friendly but yet a bit overcrowded in the morning. The Red velvet pancakes were ok but prefer the regular ones. If I were to come back, Id definitely will go back to my usual steak and eggs Bottega Louie or maybe try their lunch menuThe mimosas were awesome and also they have plenty of parking in the back.

Beautiful restaurant with tasty menu options for brunch make this an easy to recommend spot for travelers and locals as well. The picturesque decor is sure to please the clean space aesthetic enthusiast whether it plays into their love for clean and open spaces or fits into the feed on their social media. The staff is friendly and was quick to replace one of our dishes that came out with something we weren’t entirely able to distinguish and st not fuss or extra cost. The salmon platter is super recommended as it was very fresh a don’t the tomatoes were super juicy as well.

As a dessert lover this was one of my favorite spots I visited. The desserts are stunning (and delicious) and the space and presentation is open, airy and light. Between the atmosphere and the phenomenal desserts, I want to live in there.

I’ve been wanting to go here for a while, ever since I saw it on “worth it” We got there close to closing time so not much was available but we got a box of 5 macaroons and a small tart! The macaroons were delicious, some were slightly bitter! But overall, it was a good experience.

Ive come to this place a few times since I first ate here roughly 10 years ago. I cant come here very often, Im not in Los Angeles that often, but when I am, I make sure I stop by for lunch or dinner. Ive brought my girlfriend here before, and most recently, a friend from out of state. One thing has struck me about this place. The consistency of a delicious meal. Its never failed to deliver. Salads, apps, pizzas, you name it. I shared calamari and meatballs with friends as we waited for our pizza to share. The calamari, Im picky. Im not the biggest fan of seafood, but will definitely appreciate when its well done. I loved it here, definitely one of the best Ive had. Meatballs, not everyone can make them well. These were seasoned well, slightly crispy on the outside and great center. The pizza, perfect. What can I say, a good pizza can be hard to find. Theyre everywhere, but theyre not ALL good. Made right in front of you, a great, thin, delicious pie. Excellent sauce. Ill definitely continue to come back for years to come.

This place is amazing. Think Tiffanys for baked goods. The packaging is beautiful, the pastries are beautiful. The dining area is very large and gets loud. The food is good, but I would go there for the bakery.

Passed by late at night to grab a pastry and coffee over the weekend. All their pastries are devine. So flavorful and each molded to perfection! Ive never been disappointed. Had the hazelnut delight and cherry blossom, both were amazingly tasty. Highly recommend if youve never been here before.

Incredible food, cool ambiance, professional, helpful staff. Ive only been here for breakfast so far, but the food impressed me and the waiter got me drunk with his drink recommendations. This is a review of the restaurant, not the bakery or bar. The restaurant is consistently very good -- quality of food is very high, presentation is thoughtful, and service is one of the better places in downtown LA. I had the mache salad and others in the party had salmon salad, crab brioche, and a burger. All very good but this place, as pretty as it is, is unpleasantly loud. We arrived slightly before the lunch crowd but by the time we finished at noon it was impossible to hear each other, leading the weak wag among us to dream up a joke:Q: What is the most common word spoken in Bottega Louie?A: What?Q: Oh, youve heard this already

My seat mate on the flight over to LAX said to me If you want a bougie brunch, you HAVE to go to Bottega Louie, so thats what we did. It did NOT disappoint. All the servers were extremely attentive, and accommodating. The food was absolutely, supremely good. The smoked salmon benedict was, in a word, perfect. The poached eggs were extremely fresh, the Hollandaise was clearly prepared that morning and had a lovely creamy mouth feel that complimented the poached runny yolk. The decision to top the eggs over potato pancakes was a great idea.Bougie or not, this place is definitely worth the visit. Id suggest going early to avoid the late brunch rush, however, as this popular destination fills up quickly.

This place is definitely one of my favorites. The food is good, fancy looking and fresh. The aesthetics of the place are open, wide and clean. As soon as you come in you notice the logo of the restaurant in good letters and you are faced with their famous macaroons. This place has a bar where you can order a cup of coffee to go with your pastries or you can enjoy a cocktail to start your night.

Went on the recommendation of a friend for brunch. Can absolutely endorse for both tourists and locals. Loved the cocktail menu and the food menu, but of course the star was the baked goods (not pictured because they were devoured). The salted caramel eclairs were so good that I went back and bought more for my staff. Wonderful food and great service guarantee that I will be back.

Ive had dinner here a few years ago and this was my first time here for lunch. Im from the East coast but my friends always bring me back macarons because theyre one of my favorites. Their colors are perfect and girly. I ordered a small box to take back home to NY with me. For lunch I had the Cobb salad while my husband had a pizza and my friend had the avocado toast and gnocchi. Everything was delicious. Service was excellent. Our waitress was so sweet and friendly.

Convenient inexpensive valet parking. You enter inside a totally open space, high ceilings the, the happiness factor emerges as you explore the never ending pastry display of delicious items. On the center of it all, a beautiful carved desk, behind it, smiling hostesses diligently working on your table, even the waiting time feels good, so much to see and then is the bar, the variaty of drinks will keep you entertained. Everything else just looks, meh. The eggs are always made to perfection with the yolk oooozing out!The workers behind the bakery are the most unfriendliest workers youll ever meet and clueless of what service entails. The dining side on the other hand, our waiter Alan was so friendly and bubbly!Definitely stop by, if you havent yet. Its worth the stop!

I am reviewing the gourmet pastry bakery market. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I bought 5 macarons ($2.50 each), a blackcurrant cupcake ($3) and a raspberry beignet. I enjoyed the macarons as they are not too sweet, just right for my taste bud. The beignet is special because it is coated with fine caster sugar adding a crunch when you bite it. The tartness of the raspberry compliments the sweetness of the dough. Perfect!

Brunch is my favorite here! They have a really nice avocado toast and waffle. Eggs Benedict and lobster scramble are close seconds. Be sure to check out the tartufo pizza as well (lunch and dinner)- it has a soft egg baked into it, that they drizzle over the top of the pizza when it gets to your table!

Great food. Great atmosphere. Dishes are pricey but generously portioned. I recommend the Chicken Milanese. Chicken breast coated with, what seemed to be, panko bread crumbs. Dishes are mostly a la carte, so you can order a side dish to go with your meal if youd wish. Do not forget to get the macarons! It is what they are most famous for. Check their website before you go. They have the information concerning where to park for validation.

Great spot for a quick bite and drinks before a game or show in LA. Food is always pretty good and service decent. Our server on this night was very attentive once he was able to get to us, but it did take a while for him to get to us due to the other tables. Our pizza which was half burrata and half Margherita was delicious. The crust was chewy and crisp from the brick oven. Only complaint was the greens on the burrata side. I think it was broccoli rabe and was a little too bitter for my taste. The octopus was flavorful, but seemed to be a smaller than usual portion. The best part of the meal for me was the bread and butter though. Delish! Chewy goodness with tasty butter to pair with it.

Do not eat here. My lasagna was dry it was like eating plastic, my colleague ordered a pork sandwich and it was dry too, the service was horrible. My server took my fork and never brought one back. When they brought my food the guy dropped the food and left so quickly i couldn’t even ask for my fork. Horrible place, the environment is noisy too. Only thing that i like about this place is the cakes.

Bottega Louie is a gem of an establishment in the heart of downtown Los Angeles. Serving amazing desserts/macaroons to coffee to great small plates, youll have to try real hard to get out of here without a fat check! ($$$) That being said, the portobello fries and pesto gnocchi are astonishingly great, but the real game changer is the CHOCOLATE SOUFFLE. It will quite literally change your life!

Exquisite place. Friendly employees. The princess cake is a true delight for chocolate lovers. The milk chocolate mouse smoothly melts on your tongue and goes well with the dark chocolate coat. Hidden surprise on the bottom is a red velvet macaroon. The latte is deliciously milky, no need for sweetener. The pastries and coffee lives up to the fancy prices. Im sure the lunch / dinner cuisine will too.

Man, when you are drunk, it’s late and you are hungry, you go here. You order a pizza, a bunch of water and a key lime pie and you are good to go another round. This place is crowded but the staff is always friendly. The food is good but don’t expect it to change your life- that is what an LA therapist is for. You go to this place for a handful of substance with a punch of style.

Absolute favorite breakfast spot in DTLA. Parking across the street in the lot for $7. Go before 11 to not wait forever. Salmon benedict is the best thing on the menu. Lobster hash is great as well. Take him 13 macaroons at least. Service is impeccable bit this last visit was a slow process.

Not simplest is that this place REALLY stunning however its freaking scrumptious. Truly the fine lasagna I have ever had. The goodies and pastries are exquisite too. The croissants are big and so accurate. The beignets are wonderful, specifically the raspberry one!

This place is awesome. Came here for Brunch on Memorial Day. The staff was a bit short but they made it up with their attentive service. In terms of food: top notch. Had the farmers market scramble, my girls had the waffles and wife had the salmon Benedict. We also got coffee and hot chocolate. All around great food, great atmosphere. Totally recommend!

The dining hall was huge and spacious, yet looked so elegant and posh with all the marbled walls and tables. The atmosphere was vibrant and lively with a room full of people. Ordered a couple of pastries to take home. The macarons were delicious with a lot of nice variety of flavors to choose from and the eclair was mouth watering.

Hands down. The food, desserts and ambience were fantastic! Recommend going there during breakfast / lunch during the weekday otherwise the queue could be over half an hour during dinner.

From the moment you arrive in this place the waiters give you a comfortable feeling. Very courteous stuff, it is a happy place to pass time with friends and colleagues or with your date. very good food, professional chief cook and stuff, decent pay and attentive service. Highly recommended.

Admittedly, the 5 star rating is because of their desserts. I have dined here several times and can attest to the fact that most of their lunch entrees have large portions and are tasty. The only item to avoid is the trenne pasta, for which the description is a bit misleading (good luck finding more than a few tiny pieces of braised beef). The chicken dishes and salads are your best bet. But, save room for dessert, or just skip the meal and order dessert. The berry tarts are my personal favorites (it has fruit, so its healthy, right?).

Bottega Louie…such a great place to go with a date or a small group of friends. It’s quite loud and crowded, very New York like. I’ve never been to New York, but this is exactly how I would imagine it to be. You’re immediately drawn in by all the cute little pastries because there’s so much to look at and so many different colors. They have a bar if all you want to do is drink. The food was de-lish. You must try the portobello fries, but I definitely recommend sharing this with at least 2 to 3 people. We shared the lamb chops and lasagna, both really good. Overall, this is an absolute must, you will not regret it!
